One thing I am clear on: @Toledobrad was on fire in Week 15 and is our overall leader! Kyle Pitts’ humongous game could not have come at a better time, and was the tip of the iceberg for their week. The rest of us have a hill to climb in these last two weeks!
I believe we won’t see the Round 4 tables for Week 16 until Friday, after the Thursday night game results are in the database. The above tables imply that the top 14 teams in the Championship tier and the top 2 teams in the Wildcard Tier after Round 3 will be in the Championship Tier for Round 4, and that the bottom 10 teams in the Championship Tier after Round 3 will be in the Wildcard Tier, with the teams ranked 3-18 in the Wildcard Tier after Round 3.
I expect 16 teams will be in the Championship Tier and 26 teams will be in the Wildcard Tier for Round 4 when the tables appear. At this point, everyone who is below the second cutline in the above Wildcard Tier table has been eliminated. The new tables should have the cutlines that delineate which teams will advance to the Final Round in Week 17.
I’m learning and putting together a manual at the same time!
If you’re not in RazzBowl7 and have an interest in participating in RazzBowl8, reach out to me here for details.
The Thursday game is in Seattle as the Rams and Seahawks have one of my more anticipated rematches for the 2025 season.

1 down 2 to go. On a normal week I always have a question I ask. This week I have 3. Am I overthinking it? Of course not! It’s round 2 of the Fantasy Football Playoffs right? I have sat Nix twice this yr. Both times he balled out. Last week was one of them and damn did he look great. Team is PPR.
1-Purdy or Nix?
2- I need 1 RB and 1 Flex from Tre Henderson, Judkins, Charbonnet,
Jamo Williams, T Franklin, Burden?
3- I know Kickers don’t get a lot of love in the industry these days but they can sway real games and fantasy so.. stick with C Dicker for 15 weeks or go with Borregales?
As always thank you for your help and time. Hope to be back next week.
Hi Beans;
I’m glad your team is still alive!
1. I think I’d go with Nix over Purdy. I think he has the higher floor and a higher ceiling. The matchup is good, the game is at home, and it’s been unseasonably warm in Denver.
2. Unlike earlier in the season, I’m in on TreVeyon Henderson at RB. He at least provides upside. Jameson Williams is my flex. They’re at home, and even though the Steelers have been better against WRs the last few weeks, that’s at least in part due to the opponents. The Bengals and Bears did well against them. Isee no upside with Judkins or Charbs.
3. For me, both those games seem pretty even as far as the bettors’ outlook of implied points. The weather in Baltimore doesn’t forecast as too bad, but I tend to go with the kicker that is indoors, and that’s Dicker in this case at the Cowboys.
I have faith! See you next week!
Help me get to the promised land!
I need help picking 2 from this list: Davante Adams, Odunze, Egbuka, Waddle and Sutton.
I assume Adams/Odunze are sits due to their injury. It’s 1 pt PPR
Alternatively I could pick up Michael Carter but I feel like sticking to the guys who got me here and not lose because of a waiver wire guy!
Thanks!
Hi rotorooter:
Thanks for coming back and for your questions!
Davante Adams is almost certainly going to be sidelined on Thursday. I would make a similar prediction for Odunze on Saturday.
I’m concerned about Mike McDaniel talking about benching Tua Tagovailoa, but if he goes with Zach Wilson, Waddle has a good matchup, is at home, and the weather should be beautiful.
Egbuka has not done a lot lately, but the targets are there. I’m a little concerned about the matchup.
Sutton has been solid for the last month. He’s in WR1 territory for the season, more for consistency than a high ceiling. They have a fine matchup and the weather is expected to be nice.
For me, I’d roll with Waddle (if Wilson or Tua is the QB) and Sutton.
I hope this helps! Good luck with your matchup!
To my comment, I just saw the Dolphins are going with Quinn Ewers at QB. For me, I’m not crazy about Waddle. I’d go with Egbuka over him.
Thanks for the update. I still don’t understand why I was above the cutline, then in wild card then back in championship a couple weeks ago, but not gonna complain about somehow being 4th right now!
Hi Christopher:
I’m still trying to figure out NFFC’s presentation of our tournament, so I’m at least as confused as you are.
That said, it is possible to be in the Championship Tier in one round, drop to the Wildcard Tier the next, then do well enough to be promoted back to the Championship Tier.
I’ll be doing a postmortem after this tournament, and then get together with our guys at Razzball to figure out our communications. I took off last week because I didn’t know what to communicate going forward.
At the end only one team will still be standing! I hope you’ve enjoyed the tournament and will join us for RazzBowl8 in 2026!
I’m in the exact same boat and completely confused about everything. It feels like everything is in there correctly, but NFFC is just making up its own rules as they go along? I was 12th last week and should be championship tier, yet I am somehow am back in the Wildcard.
Hi Scott:
I was right above you at 11. It appears 10 teams in the Championship Tier advanced from Round 3 to Round 4 with the rest falling to the Wildcard Tier, and 6 teams were elevated from the Wildcard to the Championship Tier for Round 4.
The cutlines from round-to-round are not presented properly. I’m going to need input for messaging going forward. I can’t see what is happening in a new round until it starts.
As I stated, I believe the posted RazzBowl playoffs have been replaced by the NFFC cutline format. But the rules for that are for larger tournaments, so I can’t speak to the next round.
Hey Crews. Thank god I did not win the claim for Parkinson huh? I dropped Strange and ended up back with Gadsden. With all the injuries to Saints RB’s am I nuts to be thinking about Taysom Hill vs Jets? I can’t believe I’m even typing this. Thank you for your thoughts.
Hi Beans:
For me, there is no redraft league I’m in that is deep enough for me to consider Taysom Hill in Week 16.
I’d go with Gadsden and hope for at least a repeat of last week.
Good luck this week!
Hey man. I have a last minute question for you. Please rank for PPR.
TreVeyon Henderson, Judkins and Michael Carter. Thanks again man. Hope to be back next week.
Hi Beans:
My pleasure!
For me:
1. Henderson – not a great matchup, but higher upside. The weather at M&T Bank Stadium could be windy, so running and the short passing game would be more important.
2. Carter – Falcons have allowed the second fewest PPR PPG to RBs since Week 11. He’s involved in the passing game, which gives him an edge over Judkins. The game is indoors.
3. Judkins – top 10 matchup, but he’s in a lousy offense. He will get the most RB touches with Sampson out. It’s supposed to be windy at Huntington Bank Field.
I hope this helps! You’re welcome any time!
