2013 RCL FootballAnother great week of RCL action has wrapped up, as the undefeated herd thins with fewer 0-loss teams.  If you still haven’t taken a gander yet, we’ve got the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER:  In a slightly down week of scoring across RCLs, Puttin on the Fitz of the Rancho Rajneesh topped the RCL field with 187.84 points and crushing the other 299 teams.  Nice work Fitz!  Crazy as that is, he even had Daryl Richardson put up a zero in his flex, but with no other double-digit scorers on his bench, he wouldn’t have topped 200 anyway.  The Matt Prater game last night shot Fitz into the RCL lead by only 0.22 points!  Led by huge weeks from Antonio Brown, DeMarco Murray and Jimmy Graham, all common players on top teams this week, Fitz moves to 2-1 and second in the league.  With another big week, ReadOptionForDummies moves into second overall in the RCL standings at 3-0.  It should be a tough battle between those two for supremacy atop the Rajneesh!

Murphatron’s RCL As mentioned on the podcast, the top scoring team through Sunday was the Feverish Beavers who couldn’t quite hold onto the top spot of RCL scoring in week 3 with 187.62 points.  With big weeks from Cam and Antonio Brown, the Beavers held off the Cuddly Penguins in a tough loss for them who put up the league’s 2nd highest total this week.  Despite leading the league in scoring by 52 points, those Cuddly Penguins move to a very unfortunate 1-2.  Stay Cuddly Penguins!

Razzball Writers League – Andrew Nordmeier‘s awesomely named I Pead And It Ertz squad took the bacon this week in the Razzball Writer’s League, throwing up 173.94 points led by Jimmy Graham, Jamaal Charles and Eric Decker, and handing team Sky his third straight loss for a tough 0-3 start.  Panic like the Giants!  In what is probably my best team across 6 leagues, I moved to 3-0 but with a team led by Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and James Jones – all on bye this week – it’ll be tough to stay lossless as I of course go against Andrew.

JB’s Random Commenter League – Even though I was close, The Green Bastards took the highest scoring honors this week with the big Jordan Cameron game, moving to 3-0.  I scored 5 points less for the second-highest scoring week with big games from Cam, Jamaal Charles and Jimmy Graham.  You got smacked down Jack Full Of Hate!  I moved to 2-1 and 5th place, but really like my team.

The Shituation Room – After a tough 0-2 start, michael’s Bold Team threw up a whopping 172.90 points this week led by big games from Eric Decker and DeMarco Murray and smoking Surely You Jets.  No team has been able to go undefeated in this tough league, with Chris Schultz’s Team narrowly edging out the top spot.

Razzball Rebels – The Baton Rouge Beavers led the Rebels in scoring this week, putting up 152.88 and barely eeking out a 6 point win.  Luckily after Dwyane Bowe layed an egg, Jimmy Graham’s elite-ness saved the day.  The Purple People Eaters and Poon Jab both moved to 3-0 and will look to remain dominant in their matchups this week.

Pabst & Razz – Despite the connotation of the famous Charles Barkley catchphrase, team Turrible has been anything but, moving to 3-0 and outscoring the league this week.  With Cam stepping up and the huge week from Josh Gordon, team Turrible has a good shot at some staying power atop the league.  Chug a Pabst you other 11 members!

A League of RCL Thrones – In an extremely close contest, team LUCKY BASTARD edged out a 7 point win against Breezus, and LUCKY needed every point he got to lead the league in scoring.  Drew Brees and DeMarco Murray got the bastard a lucky win, or so I would imagine that’s how Breezus would phrase it, and no team was able to move to 3-0.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Wheeden – A big week from the BarkingBassetHounds who led the league in scoring, with a 162.82-point week led by another pairing of Drew Brees and DeMarco Murray.  Despite getting a 0 out of Daryl Richardson, the BassetHounds moved to 2-1 and took the top spot in the league.

RCLBBWSVU – Two straight top scoring weeks from the Anal Chiropractor who really got down and dirty with a 173.62-point week with big outings from Cam and Cam (Jordan Cameron).  Wouldn’t Cam and Cam be so much better for your team name, doctor?  Sheriff McRawDawg and The Defenstrators both moved to 3-0 to lead the league, and are less than a point apart from each other.

My Wife Frowns Upon This – One of my favorite commenter names, One I’d Willy (with the appropriate image too!) took top scoring this week and moved to 3-0 to strike fear in the rest of the league’s Goonies.  Drew Brees and Josh Gordon were dynamic, but you need a new TE my friend!  Willy moves to second with Sex Panther By Odeon also 3-0 and leading the league.

Monday Morning QB’s – By a measly 0.16 points, the kitchen stinks took top scoring honors over Fart in a Jar by putting up 153.10 points with no real breakout players, just a solid consistent roster with Brady, Julio Jones and Shorts.  The stinks were the only team to get to 2-0 last week and remain undefeated at 3-0.

Cracklin’ Brats RCL – It was a rough start for Let’s Get Some Percy, but a huge bounce back this week with one of the RCL’s top scores at 183.18 points led by Antonio Brown and Jimmy Graham.  With that big week, the tough luck Get Some squad at 1-2 actually leads the league in points.  BEB and Nefarious Bandits both move to 3-0, but better watch out for Percy!

Bobby Boucher’s Water Bottle – After an RCL elite outing last week topping 200 points, Dougie Fresh’s Team led the Water Bottle league yet again with 153.92 points with a dynamic core of Cam, Megatron and Jimmy Graham.  Despite the loss on their record, Dougie leads the league in points, but the 3-0 Gridiron Gangstas and Cowtown Russellers sit atop the standings.

The Podcast Kingdom – Two straight weeks for Creative Chaos in the driver’s seat in Nick’s RCL league, putting up 173.78 points led by Decker and Brees.  Despite four teams with more points (including my guys Will and the Pirates), Public Enemy #1 took another win to go to 3-0, while Nick’s Podcast Kings took a big hit in a 0.04-point loss and not topping 92 points.

Nick’s Bad JB Impersonation – Straight Cash Homey – You’re killin’ it man!  One of the few if only teams to lead their RCL league in scoring all three weeks, Straight Cash topped 500 points with another victory putting up 159.46 with big seasons early from Rodgers, Cameron and Charles.  Straight Cash will look to keep it up with a tough bout against the Slippery Squirrels, especially with Homey losing Rodgers and Nelson to byes.

Any Given Sunday – A big week from Its a sorgi orgi, who led the league with a big 162.82 burger led by Cam and DeMarco Murray in an utter smack down of league punching bag Big D.  Step up the D!  Sorgi moves to 3-0 with Sexy Suzy Kolber II a mere 0.80 points behind and undefeated as well.  And wouldn’t you know it – the two face off in one of the biggest RCL games yet.

Booty Hunters Unlimited – The Street Sweepers swept up the competish this week with a big 181.60 week led by Antonio Brown and Jamaal Charles and moves to 3-0 and 2nd in the league.  But look out for Suck For Luck who had another solid week and an unreal 513.72 points on the year.  Both squads will look to keep up their winning ways in week 4.

Take On Jaywrong – Look at my boy JayWrong and his Hand Schaub moving to 3-0!  But the class of the league in week 3 was Bob Guatemala with a huge 185.46 points getting 30+ point games out of Josh Gordon and Jamaal Charles.  Jay and Yeshcheese will look to remain undefeated this upcoming Sunday.

The Razzbro League – It was a tight week of scoring with no one topping 150, as 21 Grahams (I liked that movie!) nabbed top honors and moved to 2-1 with the aid of Antonio Brown and the team’s namesake Jimmy Graham.   Despite going 2-1, 21 Grahams remains in 4th behind three undefeated teams – the Belligerent Beavers, QB Nation and Bearded Meat Muffins – who could all stay undefeated this week as well.

Take On Jaywrong 2 – Unable to keep all his RCL teams undefeated, JayWrong fell to 2-1 with his Sisqo’s Other Hits (there are none!) losing a tough one to the Staten Island Stapes.  Top scoring went to Fish’s Official Team who also led in week 1, led by Peyton Manning and Chicago’s D.  Fish moves to 3-0 and the only undefeated squad in JayWrong 2: Electric Bugaloo.

Razzball Experts League – Chad Scott – DLF led Sky’s expert’s league with a big 185.28 point week and moves to 3-0 along with the Rushmore Beekeepers and S.Lynge-Fakepigskin.  Those Beekeepers buzz their way into the top scoring RCL squad as well.  Sky, however, suffered a tough 5-point loss and moves to 0-3.  Hopefully there’s a dispensary nearby, Sky!

The Shadynastys – Despite the 0-2 start, Rosterbation rubbed out a 160.28 week to top the nastys with a big week from Brees/Brown/Graham that could’ve been even better had Hakeem Nicks not dumped a zero.  In one of the RCL’s biggest flip-flops, Prezi went from over 200 last week to only 82.30 this week.  Your team is a fantasy moodswing!

One More RCL – Da Bears narrowly edged out the top scoring in the One More RCL league this week with Antonio Brown and Jordan Cameron going bonkers.  Wait, you don’t have the Bears defense?!  Blasphemy!  Kobayashi Maru and Devastation Squad Jr. both look to move to 4-0 as the only undefeated squads in the league.

Hernandez Hit Men – Another tightly bunched group of scoring, team Caballo led the league in scoring with 147.46 points led by Antonio Brown and Jimmy Graham.  Scott’s Team remains the only undefeated squad, and will look to go to 4-0 against Marshall Law.
