Tuesdays at Razzball Fantasy Football are going to be “lit,” as the kids say. Although I’m not sure if the kids put it in quotation marks, I’ll have to check in with VH1 on that. Regardless, we have the one and only The Joey Wright leading off every Tuesday morning with his in-depth waiver wire advice column. Then Blair spins his MNF narrative with an eloquent Monday Night Football recap and finally, I’ll bring it up the rear with my rest of season rankings broken down by position. As for this first edition of rest of season rankings, I’m not one to overreact to a small sample size—that’s what she said! But we all know the saying: the early fantasy bird gets the big sample worm. It’s a double-edged sword. This is the middle that Buddha referred to. Don’t overreact, don’t underreact, react just the right amount. Like that porridge from Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I know you’re picking up what I’m putting down, you’re a smart dude and/or dudette, as the kids say. Anyway, here’s the updated positional rankings for the rest of the 2021 fantasy football season:

With mostert being out for season. Is Hasty an add over Mattison or round tree? Standard League don’t own any of handcuffs starters

I guess he’s worth a shot over Mattison if you don’t own Cook. Honestly not sure what’s going to happen in San Fran. If I had to place a bet, it would be on Sermon rising from the dead and taking the lion’s share.

Donk, still not coming around on Amari after reestablishing himself as the alpha in Dallas week 1?

I moved him up a little (5 spots I think), but I still think Lamb is the more talented receiver and ends up having the better season—don’t get me wrong, they’re both great.

Maybe Amari deserves a boost up to like #11, I’ll think about it. Where would you rank him, crimedog?

Its nit picking either way lol they’re both ranked high and great. I had them back to back around WR10/11 or 11/12 pre season. I thought it was interesting ceedee was almost unanimously considered the WR1 in Dallas across the fantasy community pre season. Amari averaged something like 12 or 13 targets in 4 games with Dak last year. While I think you could be right on Ceedee’s talent Amari is no slouch and still has yet to show he’s not Dak’s favorite target. Needless to say I gobbled up all the discounts on Amari in drafts. My view to sum it up before season was that offense (and bad defense) should be enough to produce 2 low end WR1’s with a healthy Dak, so far so good.

I think the unknown upside of Ceedee is the real draw. We kinda know Amari’s ceiling…

Half PPR…. Lost both Edwards (RB3) and Jeudy (WR2)

Give DK for Lamb and Sermon?

    or

Give Lamar for Rodgers and Woods?

The Lamb one is close, but I think pass on both of these. Both should get you a little better return in my opinion.

    16 team std

Have got Dillon as my RB2… yikes

Could trade Lockett (flex) for Singletary…is this enough of a return? Could get Jones Jr as well

No you gotta get more than that for Lockett

I took cam akers in the last rd of my draft. I can keep one player drafted after rd 10 providing they stay on my roster all year. I have one IR spot. Should I do everything on my power to hold akers. I already am dealing with an injury juedy. There are still several decent players on waivers who I can use later when bye weeks start. I a couple of wr on my bench. I know I shouldn’t think of next year but getting akers at round 18 cost would be huge. He does have an achilles injury which aren’t great for football players, but he is young. What do you think?

Nah I’d cut bait on Akers if you need the roster spot…how many bench spots do you have?
