Did your “friend” just send you eight trade offers for Christian McCaffrey? Yes, they’re terrible offers. Option #1 is solid, gratifying, and time-tested.
Then there’s option #2—the high road. This involves spending some time creating a reasonable counteroffer. Sure, your “friend” will probably scoff at your thoughtful, fair offer, and you’ll never get this time back. But maybe, just maybe, one day, you’ll encounter that unicorn league mate who understands fair value and is willing to negotiate a trade that improves both of your teams.
