Get Up, Get On Up
- In his first action with the Cardinals, Zach Ertz had a 49% snap rate.
- Cordarrelle Patterson’s snap rate continues to climb with a season high 73%.
- Rashod Bateman took the 2nd most snaps for the Ravens at WR with 63%.
- Tommy Tremble has back to back weeks at over a 50% snap rate.
- Khalil Herbert saw 77% of the snaps compared to Damien Williams 17%. If you have to start a Bears RB, it’s Khalil Herbert.
- Without Nick Chubb or Kareem Hunt, D’Ernest Johnson saw 69% of snaps. Unfortunately, with Nick Chubb likely back this week, it was a short run for D’Ernest as the primary back in Cleveland.
- Kalif Raymond has lead the Lions in WR snap count the last 2 weeks.
- For the first time all season, Jonathan Taylor had 70% of the snaps for the Colts.
- Van Jefferson saw a season high 95% snap rate in week 7.
- Michael Carter had a season high 73% snap rate this week! FWIW, he’s the RB1 for the J-E-T-S.
- Dallas Goedert, 94% snap rate. O yeah, baby!
Still the Same
- Even in a blowout, Chase Edmonds had 69% of the Cardinals snaps at RB.
- The Ravens backfield continues to be a mess with Devonta Freeman (40%), Le’Veon Bell (30%), and Ty’Son Williams (29%) splitting snaps.
- Melvin Gordon III and Javonte Williams continue to split with MG3 getting slightly more, typically.
- D’Andre Swift has been over 70% snap rate the last 4 weeks.
- With 2 weeks sans CEH, Jerick McKinnon has been around 30% both weeks. Darrel Williams is taking the rest of the work (72% and 64%).
- Bryan Edwards has lead the Raiders WRs in snaps every week except week 5.
- Inconsistency is what stays the same with Myles Gaskin’s snap rate over the last 4 weeks. 63% in week 7, 36% in week 6, 69% in week 5, and 23% in week 4.
- Damien Harris has been at 46% and 50% snap rate the last couple weeks.
- Marquez Callaway is far and away the WR1 for the Saints, at least in snap count.
- Corey Davis and Jamison Crowder have been 1 or 2 each week since Crowder’s return in week 4. In week 7, it was a split after them between Elijah Moore (58%), Keelan Cole (41%), and a season high for Denzel Mims (31%).
- Elijah Mitchell has been above 60% snap rate every game he’s played.
- Ricky Seals-Jones has been at 100% snap rate the last 3 weeks.
Another One Bites the Dust
- After starting the year with 69% or high snap counts in the first 4 weeks, Mixon has split time since getting banged up and has seen 63% and 54% the last 2 weeks.
- No Browns WR saw even 65% of the snaps in week 7.
- If you’re looking for WRs in GB without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard in Green Bay this week, Randall Cobb was 3rd in week 7 with 63%. Equanimeous St. Brown was 4th with 21%. Marquez Valdes-Scantling has a chance to return from the IR and would be my favorite to lead the team in snaps if he’s healthy.
- After logging 35% snap rate in week 6, Rhamondre Stevenson was a healthy inactive in week 7, giving way to J.J. Taylor (26%) and Brandon Bolden (28%).
- Without Sterling Shepard or Kenny Golladay around, it was Darius Slayton (61%), John Ross (51%), and Dante Pettis (49%) that lead the Giants WRs in snaps.
- With Miles Sanders leaving early, it was Kenneth Gainwell (51%) leading the way with Boston Scott picking up 34%.
- Alex Collins has gone from 71% to 60% and now down to 39% in week 7. Rashaad Penny saw 36% and Travis Homer 21%.
- Leonard Fournette went from 83% in week 4 to low 60s in week 5 and 6, and then dropped to 53% in week 7. While Fournette has been losing snaps, there’s not enough to start anyone else in the Bucs backfield.
