“But Donkey Teeth, didn’t you just provide us with very in-depth and meticulously curated positional rest of season rankings for 2021 fantasy football, week 7, only two days ago?” Why yes, dear reader, and thank you for noticing. This is not an error, nor an oversight. It was all very carefully thought out during my recent peyote ceremony with some local natives. While I do get the positional rest of season rankings to the press promptly each and every Tuesday, prior to waivers and FAAB, I also feel it’s important to provide more context later in the week to assist in trade negotiations and other important roster decisions. If you desperately need a running back and are rostering all of Keenan Allen, D.J. Moore and Diontae Johnson then my positional breakdown doesn’t help you to construct the perfectly reasonable trade offer for Darrell Henderson, James Robinson or Joe Mixon. Now we also have the overall rankings table below to view positional valuations relative to other positions, while still having the option to sort by individual positions. The best of both worlds, which I tasted during that peyote trip. And over the past two days, I’ve also taken more time to refine these rankings after digesting more of the week one action and listening to some very valuable community feedback from you intelligent readers. The positional rankings from earlier in the week also delve a bit deeper into the rankings compared to this overall top 150 provided below. Anyway, here’s my sortable rest of season rankings for half PPR 2021 fantasy football:

  1. William Trill Cauley-Stein says:

    Sir Donkey Teeth,

I hope you are doing well, staying healthy and winning in your league (s). I am in a ten team 0.5 ppr league with big play bonuses. Could you please help me figure out who to start for week seven? Thank you!

    QB: Stafford

    WR1: D. Adams

    ***WR2: R. Woods OR J. Waddle OR C. Kirk?

***RB1: J. Taylor OR J. Jacobs OR D. Williams (CHI) OR K. Drake OR AJ Dillion OR M. Gordon

***RB2: M. Gordon OR K. Drake OR AJ Dillion OR J. Jacobs OR D. Williams (CHI)

    ***TE: M. Andrews

***F: M. Gordon OR A. AJ Dillion OR C. Kirk Or J. Waddle OR J. Jacobs OR K. Drake OR D. Williams (CHI) OR Schultz

    ***D: Denver OR Cleveland’s defense?

    K: Prater

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

Woods, Taylor, Jacobs, Andrews, Gordon and Cleveland (sorry a little late on those last two, crazy day here!)

  2. lindorphins says:

    Thanks as always DT.

Just a heads up for Rudy, it looks like he doesn’t have Trey Lance in his current set of projections as of right now.

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

      Lance sounds unlikely to play

    • The Harrow says:

on a day to day basis the ruled out guys get ruled out. it’s possible it’s a few hours behind at any given moment (somebody ruled out at say 5 pm eastern might still show up in weekly rankings till the next day etc, notice r.penny (supposedly off IR for monday night’s game) not showing up yet, as he’s technically still in IR for SEA slot). i do wish it still had the “what if” a guy (like r.penny)’s stats are projected to be in those instances. he does it quickly though, hilton off of it already etc.

  3. dill says:

    Great work DT !
The lack of volume for DHop is starting to worry me. Also, Rudy has him at 19th for WR (!) ROS. You believe he will still be a top performer. Help me have faith in him !

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

Got to you on the other post dill, sorry for the delay…

“Yes, keep the faith. I don’t think is early season numbers tell the whole story since he wasn’t healthy…

I expect double digit targets in his future.”

  4. Mr. Donkey Teeth, I read Garoppolo, provided he avoids setbacks, will be little more than a mid-range QB2 against the Colts, even with 6 QB’s on bye. Also, Trey Lance (knee) was sitting again Thursday. and Lance was not ready for prime time in his Week 5 starting debut. What do you make of the situation? I picked up Lance before week 5 as aback-up QB, then sent him to waivers after injury, and it was announced Garoppolo would start. Lance wasn’t the greatest passer yet, but I thought he looked pretty good. Do you think he’s worth picking up again to see if he gets the job due to Garoppolo injury or under performing? He is hurt & not starting, so I guess monitor the situation, but I’m tempted to hold him on my bench just in case .

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

Yeah I think Lance gets the job back sooner rather than later

    • The Harrow says:

might be another victim of shanahan not wanting to play the players drafted by the owner/GM (see pettis, sermon, aiyuk); in this case he’s probably somewhat actually hurt, but who knows. the worse SF does ROS the more likely i’d assume (hope) that lance plays.

  5. Russowl says:

Are you not expecting alot from Jerry Juedy rest of season? could be back tonight if not next week

    • William Hung says:

Latest update I saw was that he’s ruled out for this week

      • Russowl says:

Yes he is short week.. hopefully back next week

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

He’ll definitely be a riser once he shows he’s healthy

  6. Water boy says:

Howdy ! This trade was just sent to me thoughts on it for ROS? Horrible offer or a wash?

I send Damien Harris & AB

I get Miles sanders + Pittman

My RBs are Dalvin cook, Damien Harris, javonte Williams, Melvin gordon, mike Davis , k Herbert, Darrel Williams, CEH, Jeff Wilson

My WRs are Tyreek, mclaurin, AB, Corey Davis, jakobi Meyers, Bateman, devante parker, toney

If bad do you counter my Damien Harris + AB for his sanders + mike evans ?

I feel going from Harris to sanders is a wash but AB to Pittman is a huge drop

But honestly maybe I’ll just stand pat even though AB is dealing with an ankle I like him a lot

That guys RBs kamara , Aaron jones, miles sanders , Hubbard , David Johnson , jj Taylor

His WRs are mike evans, devonta smith, tee higgins, pittman, ruggs, hilton, d Jax, OBJ

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

I like the idea of acquiring Sanders right now but that’s a weak offer based on consensus valuations.

I’d counter with something like Harris and Corey Davis for Sanders and Evans…

Melvin Gordon straight up for Sanders would work too. Or maybe Gordon and AB for Sanders and Evans.

  7. William Hung says:

Flipped Javonte and Thielen for Diontae Johnson… good trade for me? .5 PPR

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

Fair deal. I like it if you have plenty of RB depth and don’t need Javonte down the road…

      • William Hung says:

RBs currently are: CMC, J-Robinson, Mike Davis, Chuba, and Damien Williams

I freed up a roster spot to stream a one week filler for BYE or Injury and going to drop Damien Williams for a player like Michael Carter

        • Donkey Teeth

          Donkey Teeth says:

          Sounds good!

  8. Hursk says:

Why do your ROS rankings differ so much from your very own projections on the same site. Example: Devante Parker – Projections he’s somewhere like 20, here he’s not even in the top 100 ROS. These ROS differ so radically from the projections outside the studs it’s hard to trust either.

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

Rudy currates the projections, these are my personal rest of season rankings. Two different viewpoints, neither should be taken as gospel.

  9. JC says:

Worried about my RB situation and Carson’s health. Context: i am 5-1 with fourth most points scored in 12 teamer. Squad and questions below:
    A Jones, D Harris
    Mike Will, Adams
    Flex: Chuba for now
    IR: Carson
Bench: Claypool, Toney, Jakobi, Mike Carter, Dillon, Latavius,

    1. Penny is available. Is he a better bet to be a long term play if Carson does not come back or is Collins locked in? Would you handcuff with him and if so, who is the drop.
    2. Another team is 1-5 and has to win now…,has both Monty and Chubb. Would you try to trade for one? If so, who and what would be a fair offer?

    • Nuke Laloush

      Logan says:

I would see if Carson and Toney can get Monty done. I think Carson is a sell low…that injury is soooooo scary and I’d get what I could for him.

      • JC says:

Thanks. But he needs to win now so injured guys are not gonna cut it

    • Donkey Teeth

      Donkey Teeth says:

      1. Hard to say. I’d label Collins as the better bet currently but it’s close. Could lose Latavvius for him if you want.
      2. Don’t see a great fit. Maybe Harris and Claypool for Chubb if he’s desperate? Maybe Carter and Claypool for Monty?

  10. Cheeeeze says:

I’m in a 14 team keeper league with a deep bench, someone just dropped Trey Sermon and thinking of spending for him as a bench stash… can’t decide how many FAAB he’d be worth, thoughts on Treys outlook for the rest of the season?
