Is it too early to be pulling the strategery out? Yes, yes it is. Is it worth taking a look at? Probably not. Then why are you wasting all of our time!? Well, it’s not a complete waste of time. I think the rankings are going to fluctuate wildly (oh, and never question me!), but I do like having all of these individual rankings in one place. Yes, all of these should be put into context, but it’s good to see where we start and follow the trends. You’ll see Houston and Washington at the bottom of the rankings because of the aerial assault they put on each other, so we have to ask if their pass D’s are that bad? No, they aren’t, but how not bad are they? If, in a few weeks they’ve settled more to the middle of the pack, that means they must be playing really well. Anyway, we need to keep an eye on the trends, so we might as well start now.
