Oftentimes, there’s a streamer that has such a good matchup, that he’s no longer a sleeper throughout the industry.  Last weekend, after watching Marcus Mariota carve up the Saints (Go Ducks!), I looked at the Saints matchup for Week 10 and saw Kirk Cousins and the Washington football team on deck.  I knew at that point he was going to be my main streamer option for  my column, only to see over the next four days that everyone had the same idea.  It’s scary to use the “sure thing” as a streamer, because it often blows up in everyone’s face.  I expect good things from Cousins this weekend, but wouldn’t be surprised at all if he lets everyone down.

Quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins (27 percent) vs. New Orleans: He gets a New Orleans defense that is bad at home, so I expect Cousins to thrive this week with his weapons.  Plus, Washington can’t run the ball at all.  Dial Cousins up as a QB1 this week.

I’d start him over: Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Joe Flacco

I’d sit him for: Derek Carr, Blake Bortles, Eli Manning

Blake Bortles (71 percent) at Baltimore: He’s one of the higher-owned streamers, but he needs to be 100 percent owned.  His schedule going forward is cake, and he is a legit QB1 for the rest of the season.  This week, he gets the sad Baltimore defense.

I’d start him over: Derek Carr, Eli Manning, Kirk Cousins

I’d sit him for: Andy Dalton, Cam Newton, Drew Brees

How did I do last week?

Jameis Winston — 18.28 fantasy points

Kirk Cousins — 11. 68 points

Tight Ends

Kyle Rudolph (43 percent) at Oakland: It wasn’t Heath Miller last week, but another tight end scored on the Raiders.  As long as the trend continues, I’ll continue putting the opposing tight end in this spot as long as they qualify.

I’d start him over: Martellus Bennett, Crockett Gillmore, Richard Rodgers

I’d sit him for: Eric Ebron, Benjamin Watson, Jimmy Graham

Eric Ebron (29 percent) at Green Bay: He’s off of bye, so why is his ownership percentage so low?  He’s a TE1 going forward, and should see plenty of work this week against the Packers.

I’d start him over: Jimmy Graham, Benjamin Watson, Kyle Rudolph

I’d sit him for: Delanie Walker, Jordan Reed, Tyler Eifert

How did I do last week?

Heath Miller — 4.70 fantasy points

Jacob Tamme — 9.10 fantasy points

Kicker and Defense/Special Teams

Connor Barth (20 percent) vs Dallas: Beating the drum each week until he’s owned more.

I’d start him over: Robbie Gould, Steven Hauschka, Justin Tucker

I’d sit him for: Blair Walsh, Brandon McManus, Mason Crosby

Pittsburgh (59 percent) against Cleveland: Pittsburgh quietly has a good defense this year.  The Browns, aside from Gary freaking Barnidge, aren’t good.  They are a top 10 defense for me this week.

I’d start them over: Seattle, Philadelphia, Green Bay

I’d sit them for: St. Louis, Carolina, Cincinnati

Connor Barth — 14.00 fantasy points

Atlanta — 5.00 fantasy points
