So, my friend from college sent me a photo today of a T-shirt.  Now, I don’t know if it’s because he saw my lineup fail miserably in FanDuel, if he read my column last week, or if he just knows that I love anything fantasy related.  The shirt read as follows: “The process was correct, F*ck you, Nick Foles.” Co-sign, T-shirt maker. The last comment I got on my streamers column last week was, “Want to get away? SMH.”  Yes, kind sir, I was shaking my head too, because while the calls were correct (remember, this IS a streamers column, meaning they are far from a sure thing), the advice didn’t work out.  Ryan Fitzpatrick, meh.  Nick Foles?  No thanks, bro.

So I don’t need to get away, but I will get back to business this week.

Quarterbacks

Derek Carr (48%) at Chicago — What a difference a year makes.  Okay, well, Amari Cooper helps, too.  Carr is the perfect bye week replacement for Tom Brady or injury replacement for a number of guys.  Carr is a top 10 option this week and will be a borderline QB1 going forward.

I’d start him over: Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers, Drew Brees.

I’d sit him for: Tyrod Taylor, Andy Dalton, Cam Newton.

Tyrod Taylor (62%) vs. New York Giants — He’s not a streamer option anymore, and his 26% uptick over the past few days shows this.  Taylor is in my top-5 for the week.

I’d start him over: Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton.

I’d sit him for: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan.

How did I do last week?

Ryan Fitzpatrick — 17.62 fantasy points (35-of-58 for 283 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.)

Nick Foles — 7.88 fantasy points (19-of-28 for 197 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interceptions.)

Tight Ends

Charles Clay (51%) vs. New York Giants — He’s up 34% this week, and he’s coming off two straight games with a touchdown.  It’s going to be three straight against the Giants, who can’t stop tight ends.

I’d start him over: Tyler Eifert, Kyle Rudolph, Jason Witten.

I’d sit him for: Jordan Reed, Jimmy Graham, Martellus Bennett.

Eric Ebron (56%) at Seattle — With Tyler Eifert, Jordan Reed and Ladarius Green getting a lot of the early season attention, Ebron has flown under the radar.  He shouldn’t make another appearance on this list, as he’s a fringe TE1 each week going forward.

I’d start him over: Coby Fleener, Jordan Cameron, Owen Daniels.

I’d sit him for: Charles Clay, Jordan Reed, Tyler Eifert.

How did I do last week?

Crockett Gillmore — 5.50 fantasy points.

Eric Ebron — 8.10 fantasy points.

Defense & Special Teams

San Diego (3%) vs. Cleveland — Again, I’m not a big fan of streaming bad defenses, but I’ll take my chances against Cleveland.  Was tempted to put Minnesota here, so consider them if you’re in a bind.

I’d start them over: Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Atlanta.

I’d sit them for: Green Bay, Cincinnati, Carolina.

How did I do last week?

Cincinnati — 3 fantasy points.

Kickers

Chandler Catanzaro (14%) vs. St. Louis — High scoring offense.  Accurate kicker.  Indoors.  Sign me up.

I’d start him over: Dan Bailey, Josh Brown, Adam Vinatieri.

I’d sit him for: Mason Crosby, Steven Hauschka, Brandon McManus.

How did I do last week?

Matt Prater — 0 fantasy points.
