been tough sledding losing blount & ingram. but fortunately the waiver gods smiled on me. thanks as always! only one more week to go!

      Jay says:
      (link)

@tnl: Naw, I think you have the best setup there. Good luck!

  2. Yaomiiiing says:
    (link)

do you know of any free websites that do postseason fantasy football where you can make a league and at least enter in an off line draft for teams to make a roster without the same player being used twice? do you guys do it?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Yaomiiiing: I’m not actually sure. Best bet would be to check the big names like ESPN and Yahoo. We don’t, unfortunately.

  3. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

Top 2 wk 16 DST stashes: Det vSF, Oak vSD, BUF vDal

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: I think Buf and Detroit, in that order, would work.

  4. Blake says:
    (link)

whats the chance that Olsen sits for most of the game? I have Antonio Gates as my fall back option in my PPR league. I have a flex position that I have tim hightower in – should I replace him with Gates? start olsen and gates or run with olsen and hightower?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Blake: Tough to say, honestly. It’s not a wild idea to start Gates, but I’d probably keep Hightower in, even in a PPR.

  5. Randy says:
    (link)

So I was too nervous to put all my eggs in the Cowboys basket last night and started DMC but not Dez. So, in a standard league, I need one flex and 1 WR out of CJA, Bryce Brown, Langford, R Mathews, Diggs, and Devante Parker. If it helps, I could also pick up guys like any of the Panthers RBs, Ellington, Innman, Jordan Matthews, or DGB. Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Randy: I’d probably go Bryce Brown and Ryan Mathews there. Any time!

  6. Corey says:
    (link)

Need 1 out of these 3. Ted Ginn Emanuel Sanders Jon brown

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Corey: Going Sanders there.

  7. Scooter G says:
    (link)

Better OP start for today… Doug Baldwin or M Ryan ?

I’m projected to lose by 10 as of now if that makes a difference. Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scooter G: I’d say Matt Ryan for that super flex. 10 points I think is negligible, you’ll be fine!

  8. Hoss says:
    (link)

PPR League and I’ve got McFaddon and J. White starting at RB as of right now. For my last flex spot I need to make a decision between B. Bolden, B. Brown, B. LaFell, F. Whittaker, Jordan Matthews, and DaVante Parker. Any advice would be appreciated.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hoss: I like the idea of Bolden, but it’s risky. Brown is also intriguing… leaning Bryce here.

  9. Michael says:
    (link)

Ppr league. Who do you flex. Have to chose one:

Martavius Bryant, Barnidge, Woodhead, B.Bolden or B.Brown? Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Michael: I’d go Bryant I think.

  10. J says:
    (link)

    morning Jay
    pick 1 WR
    Hurns or Lockette

    Thanks in advance

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @J: Lockette. Sure thing!

  11. Toby says:
    (link)

Bryce Brown, CJ Anderson or Hillman at Flex? HELP!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Toby: Goin Bryce there.

  12. ryanoger says:
    (link)

    .5 ppr league

    Pick 1:

Latavius, Starks, James White, Sproles or Theo Riddick?

    thanks man!
    best,
    ryan

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@ryanoger: Going Murray. Good luck Ryan!

  13. J says:
    (link)

    1 more jay,
    Watkins or Locktte

    thank you

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @J: Watkins there. No worries!

  14. Nature Boy says:
    (link)

In a 0.5 ppr league am I crazy to be thinking about starting Kamar Aiken over TY in flex? I just like the consistency Aiken provides and l Iike the match up more. I could also start Bryce Brown in this spot.

Also need to decide between Tom Brady and Russell Wilson.

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nature Boy: No you’re not. And I’m going Wilson there.

  15. Jason Morgan says:
    (link)

Picked up Ebron to cover for Eifert. With the news of Ebron being sick and is now tagged as questionable for MNF, do I grab one of the following instead?

Tye, Vernon Davis, McDonald or Ryan Griffin?

    • @Jason Morgan: Tye’s been a reliable source of targets and yards the past three games. I amy prefer him over Ebron anyways, especially if Josh Norman blankets OBJ the entire game. Thoughts, Jay?

  16. Dirty d says:
    (link)

Pick two in .5 ppr: Denard Robinson, DemaryiusThomas, Latavius Murray

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Dirty d: Robinson and DT

  17. Oranje says:
    (link)

Undecided at crunch time: who is my Flex: D. Robinson or L. Murray? I know you rank DRob higher but I’m nervous anyways.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Oranje: Robinson, but you’re right to be nervous, I am too, but I’m still sticking with him right now.

  18. Casey says:
    (link)

1/2 PPR League, need to pick 2 between L. Murray, Bolden, Gio & Gore as my RBs. Thoughts?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Casey: I’d go Bolden and Murray.

  19. G says:
    (link)

I have my wr3, and two flex spots to figure out. Which 3 would you start with among these, with one needing to be a Wr. So they are: Diggs, Robert woods, nate wash, Melvin Gordon, Ryan Mathews, Joique bell, and Antonio Andrews. Really appreciate the help.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @G: Diggs, Mathews, and Gordon.

  20. Eric says:
    (link)

    Hi Jay,

PPR league. I need to start two: Lockett, Aiken and Martavis Bryant. On the fence about Lockett…Russel Wilson is my starting QB, btw.

    Thanks!

    • Drekkan says:
      (link)

@Eric: Are you in a David or Goliath situation or are things relatively even for the matchup?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Eric: I’d go Aiken and Bryant under normal circumstances, but I do like the idea of going Wilson-Lockett. I’d sit Aiken there.

  21. Zack says:
    (link)

    0.5 PPR flex play:

    Locket
    Bryce Brown
    Starks

    Who ya got?! HELPP!!!

    • Drekkan says:
      (link)

@Zack: Not sold on Bryce Brown – he had many years in Philly to establish himself and couldn’t. Seahawks run blocking also suffered after the departure of Unger in the offseason. Meanwhile the Browns are without Joe Haden, I’d ride a hot hand of Lockett personally.

      • I got $100 for groceries, $1400 for liquor, and $6,000 for you to bail a couple of shit puppets out of jail says:
        (link)

@Drekkan: if SEA’s run blocking is so bad, why didn’t it affect skittles or some guy they found off the street and went undrafted (rawls)?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Zack: Brown and Lockett.

  22. Drekkan says:

ESPN Standard scoring semis with a 1 week playoff. Have my lineup set other than at QB – do I go with Blake Bortles against Atlanta or Big Ben against Denver?

    Current lineups:

    Me
    QB: Blake/Ben
    RB: Forte
    RB: Denard Robinson
    WR: ODB
    WR: A. Robinson
    TE: Jordan Reed
    Flex: Dez Bryant
    DST: Carolina
    K: Catanzaro

    Him:
    QB: Cam Newton
    RB: Woodhead
    RB: Langford
    WR: Brandon Marshall
    WR: Megatron
    TE: A Sefarian-Jenkins
    Flex: Doug Baldwin
    DST: Denver
    K: Houschka

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Drekkan: Go Bortles for the upside.

      • Drekkan says:
        (link)

        @Jay: Thanks Jay!

  23. John RamboJr says:
    (link)

    On the fence…

Lockette or Cooks. Cooks on turf, Monday night prime time. Lockette has been hot lately and SEA has no running back

CJ Anderson or Buck Allen. Thinking KC dares BAL to throw and just takes away the run game. In contrast, I think DEN gets down early and abandons the run

Any insight or gut feelings either way?

    Thanks in advance
    JRJ

    • John RamboJr says:
      (link)

      @John RamboJr:

      …aside from your rankings

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@John RamboJr: I think in your situation, I’d go Cooks and Allen. I think it’s a nice mix there.

      • John RamboJr says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

        Beauty. Thx!!

  24. The Big Yabu says:
    (link)

Q1: Even with Edelman out, you’re still kinda meh on Amendola — quick thought about why?
Q2: I’m also surprised to see Buck Allen above Shaun Draughn — I think of SD as being a little better off in terms of touches, matchup, and supporting cast — again, any quick thought about that ranking?

    Thanks!!!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@The Big Yabu: I just think it’ll be more spread out. I like Allen’s skillset a bit better to offset Draughn’s positives. Any time!

      • Barker says:
        (link)

@Jay: boldin bolden hurns for flex?

Last minute roster decision, hate my QB situation in the biggest game of the year:
4pt pass TD, 6pt rush TD, bonus pts at 300yds passing

Matt Ryan, Tyrod Taylor, Marcus Mariota, or Derek Carr

Thanks for all your help throughout the season!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@bobbo: Goin Mariota. Good luck Bobbo!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@bobbo: Sorry, typo! Meant Taylor there…

      • bobbo says:
        (link)

@Jay: We think alike, Taylor in the starting lineup. Here’s hoping he just gets me some solid baseline points and my WR studs carry me (Julio/Hopkins/Fitz). Good luck to you too!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@bobbo: So far it’s a bit annoying, but still early!
