That’s right folks, while we still have actual football for the next month, our fantasy season has come to a close. I’d like to thank all of our contributors who did an awesome job this season, and of course, thank you the readers for joining us on this trip of discovery. While it feels like we only “discovered” injuries and that the Browns still suck, I’d like to think it was a little Toy Story 3-esque, ya know, holding hands as we fall down a furnace. In this case the furnace is Dez Bryant’s season, but hey, it’s football. Crazy things happen. I mean, the Falcons used to be 6-0. LOL. Anyhow, thanks for a great season everyone. We’ll be sure to continue our rankings throughout the NFL playoffs for your consumption. (Don’t actually eat your screen of choice while reading that.) And we’ll have choice content during the offseason to keep you grounded while Fantasy Baseball combs over the land. Interesting metaphor usage, but whatevs.

Thanks everyone!

Why the bump with Deangelo? I have Devonta freeman, David Johnson and D’Angelo Williams in my PPR league – No flex so I have to start 2

U had him at 5 earlier, right?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Blake: i might have had him 3, not entirely sure. I just started loving the matchup more and more.

@John: Robinson and Miller I’m thinking.

  9. Chad W says:
    (link)

Due to crippling injuries and only 10 PU a season, I’m in a tight spot: Ajayi or Crowell for my final RB2 spot. Yes, that stinks. But who would you go with. Thank you very much.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Chad W: Eeesh, that does sound unfortunate. I’d probably go with Ajayi, hoping he’s a big vulture.

      (link)

@Chad W: nice jackie brown picture. “coughing is good”

  10. Adam says:

      (link)

@Adam: Going Williams there. Good luck!

  11. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

Faced Cousins last night and left Reed on my bench, so need to play for ceiling. Standard scoring w/ 5 pt bonus at 100yd, need 1RB, 1WR and a flex:
Gurley, Forte, Michael, Cooks, Mike Floyd, Aiken. Forte and Aiken are in the early games, so need to decide on them soon.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: Hmm, ceiling? I’d probably go Gurley, Forte and Cooks.

  12. Impending doom says:
    (link)

Keeper forever league. Will probably keep 8. Who would you gamble on right now (for 2016)if all these players were healthy and playing?
    My team
    Rivers
    Cobb
    Martavis Bryant
    Amari Cooper
    D Green Beckham
    Kevin White
    Josh Gordon
    Forte
    Lacy
    West
    Matt Jones
    Khiry Robinson
    Barnidge
    Eifert
Thanks for all your work this year!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Impending doom: I would want Cobb, Cooper, Bryant, White, Jones, Eifert, Forte, and DGB. And thanks for hanging out!

  13. Scooter G says:
    (link)

Cutler or Forte for superflex ?

    • Jay

      Jay says:

      @Scooter G: Cutler, but it’s close.

  16. goodfold2 says:

weird year, Tehol goes missing numerous times, Jennifer quits from a couple of douchebags personally attacking her, and Kevin is leaving. Any ideas about a good Kevin replacement? (it’ll be hard since he ranked 2nd out of 25 or 26 guys who’s ranks go on FP last year, guessing he’s high this year too)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@goodfold2: We’ll be looking into it this offseason. Kevin hasn’t ruled out some spot posts, so that’s good to hear. Jennifer should be returning next season, she got surprise hired at a new place that caused writing to become secondary, which is totally understandable. And Tehol had basically the same thing happen to him.

      • goodfold2 says:
        (link)

@Jay: good on Jennifer then. Tehol in his posts has mentioned something to that effect.

for some reason yahoo is projecting Mannion to be 17’s starter over keenum, i can’t find anything that has that make any sense of any type. you hear anything? in a really deep league might be in trouble if cousins sits or play a half when he has no reason to. mettenberger is another “option”, or k.moore. that’s it. and if my opp has a worthless bench spot he’d be smart to grab one of those. i do have keenum.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@goodfold2: I haven’t seen anything at all on that yet. I think you could certainly see that though. Mettenberger is interesting, in context.

          • goodfold2 says:
            (link)

@Jay: interesting in that “add this pile of shit to your hand or this pile of toxic waste” kind of way. since keenum has actually played at a NFL average level QB for the last 3 games it doesn’t make sense for them to bench him, he might well be their best idea to start next year.

  17. Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:

forehead/pujols/dickerson and others should’ve learned how to get brees’ version of plantar facisitis. i’ll still win in that one league even with playing morris over hightower, but i would’ve had a chance at highest score of the year (i got the 2nd last week) had i not read about brees’ injury at all. in another league i might be in trouble with snead over hightower though.

  18. Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
    (link)

uh, oh, i’m about to lose 300 from playing bortles over brees. yuck.

    • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
      (link)

@Montezuma’s Revenge… right now: actually i’m not dead yet, if bortles gets 21 more yards i get his 6 pt bonus, still have a quarter of floyd, rest of game from SEA kicker. only down 7.4.

      • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
        (link)

@Montezuma’s Revenge… right now: and this is against a comish that (late) says winner gets 3 times 2nd, which in our leagues is a no no. But he was last second fill in comish (normal comish was insanely busy during draft week), and he also didn’t pay pts leader in season, which we do do. Since we went into week as projected tie or so, i offered chop 5/6th of the money evenly and play for 1/6th, he basically told me to go F myself. once we figured out he set this up like this (late enough in year that he knew his team was making playoffs and good) we’re going to replace him next year. I would comish this myself but like 9 of the other owners i don’t know and of course we need somebody to collect money beforehand, or vouch for it. why we haven’t instituted leaguesafe i have no idea. I’m thinking about redistributing some of that money as a sign of good faith/show how that comish needs to be out to all the other 9 members (normal comish is my friend and we agree already)

  19. Tom says:
    (link)

Ronnie Hillman or cj anderson tonight?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Tom: Probably Hillman. Good luck!

  20. Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
    (link)

as a STL’ian i’m loving that both Kelly’s innovativeness will have to find a home elsewhere, after somebody else was dumb enough to attach their future to Bradford. hahahahaha. over/under on how of a pay cut he has to take next year coming off that ridiculous last #1 to get that much guaranteed money. i’m guessing 8 mil is his ceiling for next year. If he has any balls he’d take a one year deal to prove to somebody he actually should even be paid as a top 17 QB in the NFL, but some idiot team will likely give him at least 3 years.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Montezuma’s Revenge… right now: Just seemed more gimmicky than anything. Maybe a lot of micromanagement as well. Bradford did look better as the season progressed, but it’s only a matter of time before injury or ineffectiveness plagues him again. Not like Nick Foles did anything relevant though.

      • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
        (link)

@Jay: true, but foles cost less than a 5th of bradford i believe and didn’t we get a draft pick while doing that deal as well? it’s one thing to have a shitty QB, quite another for all his teammates to see how much crazy money he gets to do it, and for us fans it’s even worse in a capped sport.

  21. Side Dish says:
    (link)

I’m in a 12 team, 1/2 point, option to keep up to 4 player, league and Im already trying to think of next year as most of our trades happen immediately after the season…anyways

We are allowed to keep players for 3 years. I have kept Antonio Brown for 2 years, so next year is my last year for him. You can also trade the players in the offseason after your 3rd year.

    My potential keepers are:
    QB – wilson
RB – lacy, matt jones, gore
wr – a. brown, evans, cobb, maclin
    te – eifer
    wildcard – josh gordon

I would love to get a better RB combo. There’s an owner with David Johnson and Beckham. What type of trade would you recommended to them? I’m debating whether or not its the best time to sell high on antonio

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Side Dish: Yeah, I’d try Brown for those two, maybe add in Eifert as well if needed. I’d definitely try to keep Evans, Jones, and probably Brown, depending if you trade him.

  22. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

Dynasty league, standard scoring, at TE I have Gates, Graham and ASJ. Would you drop any of them during the last waiver period of the year to stash L. Green?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: Tough question. I’d probably hold, I think Green’s big breakout was supposed to be this year, but the Chargers just didn’t find him enough volume. I believe he’ll be a free agent, so the picture is really cloudy to make a decision on.

  23. ashtray says:
    (link)

Will there be keeper rankings? No rush but curious. I’m definitely keeping LeVeon Bell but have to choose a 2nd out of these folks:

    Eddie Lacy (8.3 ppg)
    David Johnson (11.6)
    TY Hilton (9.2)
    Keenan Allen (11.8)
    Sammy Watkins (12.1)
    Justin Forsett (9.1)
    Jimmy Graham (6.6)

    Thanks!

  24. goodfold2 says:

now with mettenberger and freeman looking like better options than cousins, which you going with. i could just wait for ranks of course. nice to see no thursday game this week.
