In what used to be an interesting rivalry back when it when it was Tom Brady against Peyton Manning, the new iteration of Tom Brady versus Andrew Luck hasn’t really lived up to the past, especially when you include the amount of deflating balls we’ve witnessed. Well, to be honest, not even the past has lived up to the past, with the Patriots firmly winning most of these match-ups no matter who the quarterback was. This season’s annual Patriots and Colts game seems no different, as New England is favored to win this game by an estimated bajillion points. So many points, that there were a few in Indianapolis that thought benching Andrew Luck was not such a bad idea. To be fair, only a few actually live in Indiana, so I’m not sure how strong that argument is. That being said, this being a Sunday Night Football game, I’m sure we’re going to get the best game that football could ever offer in all of our lives. LOL.

Take one sip of beer if…

You confuse Andrew Luck’s incredibly huge mouthpiece for an orange peel.

Bill Belichick causes you to experience an emotion.

Peyton Manning is mentioned.

Fog starts to come out of Cris Collinsworth’s mouth.

You want to give Luck a throat lozenge.

Bob Costas pisses you off.

Danny Amendola or Rob Gronkowski gets injured.

Take one shot of liquor if…

Anyone uses Andrew Luck’s last name as a pun or in a play of words.

Tom Brady acts like a total b*tch when someone touches him.

Danny Amendola AND Rob Gronkowski gets injured.

Tough loss buddy, why didn’t Phillip throw it sooner, he waited too long

@J-FOH: Honestly, Packers should be ashamed of themselves for ever letting San Diego have a chance.

@Jay: well of course, but from what I’ve seen so far is there are the Patriots and the rest of the teams have so much parity that its hard to know

@J-FOH: I’m just speaking with that game in general. Gordon, Allen, and Weddle were all injured for the game, along with the offensive line already being 60% practice squad. I’m happy from what I saw, but the Packers looked really really vulnerable. Especially with it being a home game.

@Jay: not Weddle, he’s one of my anchors in the RazzDP…I like your coach, for me it says a lot about him that they could hang when they shouldn’t have

@J-FOH: Honestly, McCoy is pretty terrible, but he played his most aggressive game of the season, which I was happy with.

@Jay: his first year was a big turnaround. The injuries haven’t helped you and I dont know who is doing the drafting, but it could be better

@J-FOH: well, an injury riddled 7-9 to a 9-7 with the only full healthy Ryan Mathews season, an impressive rookie season from Keenan Allen… not sure much changed there. It’s not like McCoy took a 3-13 team and made them 13-3. And Tom Telasco is drafting. Not that impressively, but he’s drafting…

if i’m trying to win this year, would you deal a $5 martavis bryant for $8 greg olson in a keeper league?

you can only keep a player for 3 years total, then they get redrafted

my wrs will be: alshon, brandon marshall, james jones, dez

my current TE is martellus bennet

    thank you

2 QB league where i have brock O/forehead/rodgers/rodfather, and only rodfather’s team playing next week. I really shouldn’t be holding Ogletree anymore, as the Rams are doing the football version of D.Mesoraco’s stupid thing from this year where they have no intention of playing him yet are either too lazy/stupid or my guess here is since the STL owner doesn’t want Rams to win in STL why add a player and IR a guy who’s out till at earliest end of season in mid December. I have 1 more IR slot, have Jordy in the other one, and this is a dynasty, so i’d kinda rather be able to keep Ogletree for sure. This team will be 4-2 by next week.
My options for dropping Ogletree for a 1 week QB (and this decision has to be made tonight, sucks there) are
L.Jones or Manuel. If Manuel plays i’d still only have 1 starter QB for next week. If Jones does and Rodfather is back i’d have 2. I’m guessing i should go for Jones first (but not use a big bid of course). It’s likely somebody not me will bid a decently large amount here.

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: Ben is close to coming back, so it’s really tough to say. Just the way the rosters are set up there, I might do Manuel.

      • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
        (link)

@Jay: those would be the only possible starting QB’s for next week. All these folks in 12 team 2 QB leagues must have very small benches to have options more than this (which i see from questions all the time)

          • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
            (link)

@Jay: i’ve seen a lot of questions (maybe those were from 8 team leagues mostly) asking if they should pick up this starter or that starter, and my question is how are any starters not owned, as they sure are in my 2 QB league. Maybe the dynasty part makes even more get owned (like me with Osweiler). I’ve seen somebody around here mentioning McCown recently as a “maybe” add in 2 QB leagues. I was like WFT! league is a starter, (much less one who’s had 2 or more good starts in a row) unowned in?

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: Yeah, with the bye weeks, a lot of tough decisions are made. I can see why some guys are dropped, but one man’s trash…

man i should’ve waited to see Luck actually look good before putting him in over bortles. bortles still scored 12 pts more in my league at this point. Luck is looking like the same thing as with Mccoy, started year hurt (except nobody knew about it, as with mccoy), wasn’t rested when he should’ve been, except Mccoy was finally rested long enough.

@Ron: Honestly, the 16-game season really plays havoc on the sport. I think most of the time, the season is won with in-season moves and starting decisions where the draft is highly predicated on luck. I would love to see a study where you take an auto-drafted team and then manage the ef out of it in-season and see how those teams stack up against others…
