It was 16-3. Zach Wilson (9-for-18, 92 yards, 1 INT) looked on at the field at MetLife Stadium, having accounted for 93 yards of total offense and one turnover through nearly three quarters of play. Enter Chris Streveler, certified gladiator and champion of men. Recently activated off the practice squad, the former Winnipeg Blue Bombers star instantly reinvigorated the Jets offense, producing 144 total yards — 51 more than Wilson — in just one quarter of play while not turning over the football. Newly-minted as my hero, Streveler showed heart and grit, and most importantly, that he was willing to put his body on the line and do anything for the players next to him. That’s not something we have seen Wilson do. Wilson doesn’t yet understand how to be a leader and more importantly, can’t comprehend how to read a defense. He is not a starting NFL quarterback, and never will be. Say all you want about arm strength and projectability, but it only goes so far. I have a bottle of ketchup in my fridge that has the size, shape and squirt to be an elite mustard, but what’s inside is simply never going to change. Last night should be a lesson Streveler’nd for us all. Unfortaunely, I don’t think it will be for Wilson. Anyway, here’s what else I saw in another riveting edition of Thursday Night Football.

Tight End is an interesting position in Fantasy Football. With the game’s predilection for the passing, one might think that all pass-catchers (Tight Ends included) would have a great deal of appeal for managers of fantasy football teams, but they haven’t. Many of these players will likely accrue aroudn500 yards receiving and five touchdowns and […]

Elevensises. Eleven from Stranger Things. 7-11. Turn it up to…eleven. All right, now what’s your favorite Dungeons and Dragons race? Did you say “Halfling?” I knew it was Halfling! OK, now that I’ve scared away the normies, let’s jump in and figure out what the front door to do about our teams on this, the [checks notes] 11th week of fantasy football. What a coincidence — I didn’t even plan that lede to go with the eleventh week. I suppose that’s what happens when I start writing at the 11th Hour. I’m done, I promise! Meet me after the jump.

! Warning ! Your 2021 fantasy football season is on FINAL NOTICE. Otherwise meaning: your team is swirling down the crapper, spiraling more quickly thank my bank account after a fun-filled day spent at Chuck-E-Cheese, and you’re desperately in need of that one (maybe two?) player to save you from permanent destruction. Now, there’s this scene in New Girl where Nick shows Jess his box of overdue bills, which he hides in the closet — a place where he puts things he doesn’t want to have to deal with. Heading into Week 11, do not let your fantasy roster become a hidden box of overdue bills. Get the box out. Read the writing on the wall (in the letter). Take a stand and do something about it. Target the right players. Don’t waste a waiver claim on the guy who will save you for one week, rather, go big on the one name that could turn your entire season around. In this segment, I’ll detail seven players who hold the potential to flip the switch your 2021 fantasy football season. Many of these names have been discussed in this week’s waiver column, but as I’ll discuss later, not every waiver add has rest-of-season relevance. These players aren’t so much league winners, as they are league savers.

I’ve been married for seven years now, but we’ve been together much longer. Through our relationship, I’ll often turn to her, look deep into her eyes and say, “You know those dogs from Homeward Bound are dead now right?” I get the death stare every time, but readers of Wright on Waivers I have a secret to tell you. I sort of love Homeward Bound. I believe this is the second time I have referenced it in my short time here at Razzball. The scene I like most (spoilers) is when Shadow comes over the hill and sees Peter after their long time apart. It gets me all misty. I mean who does not love a story of someone finally making their way back home. Our lead name in this week’s waiver article is a lot like Shadow. He still has a few journeys and walks ahead of him. It is just nice to see him taking his final trips in a familiar place. Welcome home Cam.

It was the middle of the night when the message woke me, it’s incessant buzzing threading the neurons in my brain. It said, Tom Brady’s gonna be useless, start Trevor Siemian today. With my mind on rankings and helping the Average Joe, Jose, and Josephine, I couldn’t fall back into the grasp of the Sandman. I had to tell the people. I had to tell them to run away from Matt Ryan and Baker Mayfield (“Why didn’t they listen to me on Baker?”), and instead ask my unfailing followers to go all in on Gabriel Davis. Wait, did I do that? [checks To Do List] Aww crap I told you to start everybody else. But on the plus side, we didn’t end up with the Bills losing in a battle of field goals, did we? Let’s check out what happened on Sunday for fantasy football:

One of my favorite movie theater experiences came during my freshman year in college at my local art house cinema. I had never seen a David Lynch film before but heard good things about him. All I really knew is he made Twin Peaks, a tv show with the most nightmare inducing theme song. In hindsight, maybe Mulholland Dr. was not the best foray into his catalog. While it is now one of my favorite films, I left the theater confused and doubting my own intelligence. I went back the next night and it started to become clearer. It was the first movie where the audience stayed around after and discussed “what it all meant.” Sometimes NFL weeks can feel a mess and make absolutely no sense. They hit you like a ton of bricks and require more than the usual analysis. This past week felt like one of those weeks, but through the madness and riddles, a few bright lights shone through all the way to the waiver wire.

Well, now that the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Houston Texans in the World Series, we’re ready to play some real Blurbsball. Also, apparently, the entire NFL decided to cause trouble this past week and we’re effectively in Bye-pocalypse 2.0: The Directors Cut, wherein EverywhereBlair makes you watch a 45-minute monologue on the terrors of exfoliants. I love the smell of shea butter in the morning! For everybody else who came here for fantasy football takes, I suppose I’ll provide those below, probably with a complete lack of interest because I see no future after the fall of Derrick Henry.

We’ve officially passed the halfway point of the fantasy football season. Some of us are riding high with 6-2 records basking in dreams and visions of fantasy championships on the horizon. The rest of us have located our local friendly time traveling scientist to convert our 2018 Nissan Rogue into a time machine. I honestly need an oil change as I have trouble getting it above 88 miles per hour. So, I guess I can’t go back and should instead focus on digging myself out of this hole without having the kiss my mother or have her see me in my undies. I’m talking of course of the waiver wire and where we’re going, you’ll need the waiver wire.

I often find myself excavating free agency for Wide Receivers to fill out the bottom of my dynasty roster. For what am I digging? Three characteristics: first speed, second opportunity, third situation. The most common characteristic among NFL WR is they are fast, so I start with speedy players. Opportunity is everything in the NFL. If you don’t get the ball, you can’t score points in fantasy football, so I track targets. The situation often correlates to success. When looking for WR consider the quarterback and scheme. I have a list of players here that meet the criteria:

**VIDEO RELEASED BY ANIME DONKEY TEETH PRIOR TO WEEK 5**

I watched my first boxing match on Saturday night since Conor McGregor “fought” Floyd Mayweather four years ago. I must say, the big dudes this weekend were quite entertaining. I especially enjoyed the theatrical entrances to the ring from Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury—it was like the movie 300 meets the Dave Chappelle’s Prince skit. Game. Blouses. But my goodness, Wilder was pummeled by the Gypsy King in that heavyweight bout. The only ones beat up worse than the Bronze Bomber this weekend were the New York Giants who lost Saquon Barkley to a nasty-looking sprained ankle, Daniel Jones to a concussion and Kenny Golladay to a hyperextended knee. But as the old saying goes: when one ankle swells to the size of a doggy door, another buy-window opens. Devontae Booker may only have a week or two in the limelight, but if Sunday was any indication (16 carries for 42 yards, 3 receptions for 16 yards and 2 touchdowns), Booker should see a heavy workload until Barkley is back and should be added everywhere. That’s not the only Giant buy this week, though. First-round rookie Kadarius Toney erupted for 189 receiving yards on 10 receptions. Captain Obvious here again to tell you Toney is worth a roster spot in your league. Yes, your league too. The kid might have catapulted himself into the alpha role for the Giants, which is a very fantasy-friendly role as they’ll be playing from behind often this year. Toney and Booker with be two of the top adds for week 6 with Toney possibly holding substantial value for the remainder of the year. Anyway, here’s some more players to buy or sell this week in fantasy football:

Jaguars and Bengal Tigers are two of the most popular animals in the jungle because of their size and abilities. They are both known to be dangerous predators with fierce hunting skills and the ability to kill all sorts of prey. If a Bengal Tiger and a Jaguar were to hypothetically square off in a battle in the jungle, the Bengal would likely win that battle due to their size and weight advantage and stronger claws. The Jaguar does have good stamina and could escape the battle by climbing a tree or swimming away if they’re near water. We pretty much saw exactly this last night with the Cincinnati Bengals delivering some knockout blows in the second half and the Jacksonville Jaguars hopping in the water and swimming away in the 4th quarter.
