The NFC South defenses were discussed last season…but it wasn’t always good. How not good, there are three new defensive coordinators in the division, and one team is quitting the co-defensive coordinator experiment from last year. Last season this division had three teams finish 7-10, while the division leader found a playoff berth at 8-9. […]

If you haven’t already, it’s time to start looking to the playoffs, as they begin Week 14 in most leagues. I hope you’re all poised for a championship, but even if you aren’t, I hope you’re trying your best to play spoiler for your league mates. This week is yet another instance of four teams on bye, including the Browns, Packers, Panthers, and Titans. There is some real star power missing this week, such as Myles Garrett, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, De’Vondre Campbell, Adrian Amos, Brian Burns, Shaq Thompson, Jeremy Chinn, Harold Landry, Jayon Brown, and Kevin Byard, among others. Let’s take a look at a couple players who can provide a lift down the stretch.

Ten weeks in the books, and it’s time to really start making that playoff push! Week 11 features only two teams with byes: the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos, meaning we’ll be without Aaron Donald, Leonard Floyd, Troy Reeder, Jordan Fuller, Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, and Kenny Young, among others. If you’re in a pinch this week or just looking to add some depth, here are a few name to consider.

If you’re looking to replace Roquan Smith, Jessie Bates, Leonard Williams, or some Texan (Kamu Grugier-Hill? Jonathan Greenard?) then I’m here to help. Let take a look at some worthy pickups this week.

How is it possible that we are already heading into Week 9? Time flies when you’re decimated by injuries I guess. Only 4 teams on bye this week: Detroit, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Washington. Even though this isn’t a bye-maggedon, you’ll still be without some IDP stars like Bobby Wagner, Jamal Adams, Chase Young, Devin White, and Shaq Barrett. My job is to help you find some waiver wire replacements, so let’s get to it!

Welcome to Bye-mageddon! Week 7 sees six teams on bye, including the Bills, Cowboys, Jaguars, Chargers, Vikings, and Steelers. This means that our IDP rosters will be missing a slew of studs this week, such as Tremaine Edmunds, Micah Parsons, Rayshawn Jenkins, Derwin James, Eric Kendricks, and TJ Watt. Even if you’ve had one of the top teams this year, you’re still probably looking to the waiver wire this week to fill some starting spots. Bye weeks are upon us in the NFL, and this week fantasy managers will be without any Falcons, Saints, Jets, or 49ers. Over the next several weeks, depth becomes critical, and navigating the waiver wire appropriately is a necessity. Finding plug and play options can keep your team as close to full strength as possible, even when your typical starters are out. Read on to see my favorite waiver add at each position for IDP heading into Week 6.

Hard to believe we are already one third of the way through the regular season in most of our fantasy leagues. By now, you can really start to see which leagues you have a legitimate chance to win, and those in which you’ve donated your entry fee to someone in the accounting department who doesn’t even watch football. It’s ok, it happens to the best of us. Regardless where you are in the standings though, never stop trying. Work the waiver wire, continue to make trades, etc. because you just never know what could happen. Read on to see my favorite waiver add at each position for IDP.
