In my 1-25 rankings post I recommended you not roster more than four tight ends. With this group of players, I look to fill out bench spots. You should be able to nab a starter to fill in on a bye week and a longshot high-upside player to dream on. Dreamers at this position find themselves among the top 10 if they materialize, so it is worth your time to take a shot on a profile you like. Next week, I’ll be on to the 2022 draft class, so let us button up these rankings for now.

Week 12 is upon us, and only 4-5 weeks remain until playoff season. Many of you (myself included) are down to making dollar bids. If your team is in a rebuild, you may be sitting on a surplus of faab, now is a great time to trade some of that faab for a draft pick or high-upside player. For those of you with contending teams, you may be down one $1 per week, so use it wisely. I have a few player suggestions here, and of course, I have them at all the pertinent positions.

The story leading into this game was Green Bay being without their top wide receivers in Davante Adams and Allen Lazard who are both on the reserve/Covid list. The narrative was that there would be no way they could beat the undefeated Arizona Cardinals without their weapons. The moral of the story ended up being never count out Aaron Rodgers. Even without his best receiving weapons, Rodgers was able to battle the whole game, make the plays when he needed to, and pull out the upset victory for the Packers.

The 2020 tight end class lacks top end talent, but there were 5 players taken on day 2 which bodes well for future production. These will be my final off-season rankings now that we know landing spots and draft capital. For more background information, please check out my initial TE article for details on the players’ profiles and more of the process used to rank the position.
