Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers 11/15/2020 @ 1:00 pm EST. TB -4.5
Tom Brady was embarrassed by Drew Brees last week, but this week he can reclaim GOAT status on the Panthers. Carolina’s pass defense is a weakness. Antonio Brown is one week further along in the game plan. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are another week healthier. All signs point to a turnaround toward Tampa. CMC has been ruled out already, and while Mike Davis has done an admiral job filling in, the Panthers are a worse team without their MVP. This line reflects last week’s Bucs final score way too much me. I love the value with Brady. Tampa should roll to an easy win in Charlotte.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers 11/15/2020 @ 4:25 pm EST. CIN +7
Big Ben is spending the week in seclusion, having swab after swab shoved in his snout. He won’t be practicing with the team, which may give his elbow a chance to rest. The virus talk overshadowed the fact he had to have it looked at during the Cowboys game last week. The Bengals defense, especially their secondary, is getting healthy this week. The defensive line will also be intact to take on James Conner. Joe Mixon, on the other side, look s ready to return to help Joe Burrow and company. The injury report is really driving my wager here. The Steelers QB is ailing, while the Bengals are getting healthier on both sides. A field goal should decide the outcome.
San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints 11/15/2020 @ 4:25pm EST. SF +9
Don’t fall into the trap that was set last week by this San Francisco team. Their receiving group was decimated, leaving Nick Mullens with no weapons at his disposal. Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk should return and provide a much needed boost against a decent New Orleans defensive backfield. Trent Williams return will be another welcomed sight for the Niners, allowing them to get the ground game going. Drew Brees is coming off a thorough beat down of the Bucs secondary in Michael Thomas return to the lineup. San Francisco’s coverage unit is a leap up from Tampa’s, so I look for them to keep the Saints in check most of the afternoon. New Orleans hasn’t run away on any opponent outside of last week. This trend will consider. Scoop up those nine points with the 49ers this weekend.
Happy tailing, TnPers!
