How do bands come up with their names? Steely Dan is famously named after a giant steam-powered dildo, but others aren’t quite as artistic. English rock band, Chumbawamba, is just gibberish according to their official statements. However, if you are searching for an innovative way to intro NFL picks for Week 3, you dig a little further and find it came from a dream. Band member Danbert Nobacon had a dream about peeing, and the signs on the club door restrooms he dreamt about replaced “Men” and “Women” with “Chumba” and “Wamba.” We got knocked down last week (0-4 ATS), but we get back up again…

Turn up the volume on your Walkman because it’s Week 3 of the NFL season. We have a chart-topper ourselves, Rudy Gamble’s Razzball Membership Tools! Be sure to check them out and the FREE 7-day trial of all the tools you need to be an international sensation.

Now let’s get to it! Week 3 picks for your Tubthumping pleasure.

Las Vegas Raiders @ New England Patriots 09/27/2020 1:00 pm EST. NE -6 (-110)

Right back to the Patriots has been a great bet in the Belichick era. Last Sunday night, the Pats ran into a blazing hot Russell Wilson. This week, they get Derek Carr coming off an emotional high after securing the first-ever win inside the Death Star. New England has an extra days rest, while Las Vegas comes out East for an early start. This Patriots secondary is better than they showed last week, by a lot. They should have no problem taking away Las Vegas’ top receiving option, tight end, Darren Waller. Cam Newton will continue his Comeback Player of the Year tour in grand fashion this week. Take New England, and lay the 6 points at home.

Los Angeles Rams @ Buffalo Bills 09/27/2020 1:00 pm EST. BUF -2.5 (-110)

John Q. Public is way too low on this Buffalo franchise. Gone are the days of viral videos and WIDE-RIGHT. This Bills team is in win-now mode. Very few have started off 2020 as hot as their quarterback, Josh Allen. His mobility inside and outside of the pocket will negate the Rams tough pass rush just enough to allow Buffalo to move the ball. Opposite, L.A. will face it’s toughest test yet. The Bills are no cupcake, especially at home. Watch for Devin Singletary and Zack Moss to get it done against the 8th worst rush defense in the league. I don’t know when the respect will come, but I will take the free points advantage with Buffalo until it does. Bills -2.5 at Orchard Park.

San Francisco 49ers @ New York Giants 09/27/2020 1:00 pm EST. NYG +4.5 (-110)

San Fran has a Hall of Fame injured list right now. Nick Mullens takes over at quarterback against a Giants teams that believe they are better than 0-2. I do too. They competed with the Steelers in Week 1 and had a play to win in Chicago in Week 2 despite playing poorly and losing stud RB, Saquon Barkley. Watch for news about the MetLife Stadium turf, which was a big concern for the 49ers last week against the Jets. I just don’t believe a Mullens-led offense is a touchdown better than any team on a neutral field. There is some real value here. G-men +4.5 at home.

Happy tailing, TnPers!
