I apologize for my absence the last two weeks. I had some major final exams and they kicked me in the ass. I am a better human after finishing it however; I have not seen natural light from the sun in 20 days. The doctor told me I had to wear sunglasses at all times until yesterday; the worst experience to be forced to look like a hipster. Story time! This guy from Greece, let’s call him Pat, bought a five-step ladder in Canada and had it sent to him in Greece. Because he is smart, he fell of the small ladder and subsequently sued the manufacturer and the store that sold it to him because he felt it had two defects: defective material and no warning labels. Experts deemed the ladder perfectly made and the judge told Pat that because an adult of average intelligence would know how to handle himself on said ladder there is no need for warning signs. In addition to this there are glue stains where the warning signs were, so also ripped them off. This man was then given criminal time and had to pay punitive damages. Fraud = bad. Don’t be this guy.

If you’re still reading you are likely in the finals and able to win big mulla and/or a large amounts of pride over your friends. Hopefully both. This week you need some guys who might come and give you that 15-20 point burst to push you over the edge. I’ll go over each position below. Christmas special – who are Max’s Factors this week?

If you are like me and you didn’t draft a top tier QB early, and didn’t luck out on Carson Palmer, QB has been a struggle this year. I revolved Ryan Tannehill and Tyrod Taylor the whole season. This week I can see Kirk Cousins putting up points against a struggling Philly D. According to Yahoo Sports PHI D gives up 3rd most points to fantasy QBs this season. Cousins has been playing much better since the Redskins began improving and wining some games. His weapons have improved as well and I would expect 2-3 passing TDS with 300 yards and maybe a rushing touchdown thrown in there too. He as 3 in his last 4 games.

I love James White of the Patriots this week against the Jets. Now the Jets give up the 3rd fewest points to RB’s this season, but White isn’t your average RB. He is a non rushing RB, he is a pass catching dynamo and with Revis and Cromartie manning down their WR,  and the running game with Bolden likely to have trouble, I foresee big games for both White and Gronk. White has very strong soft hands, especially for a RB and jumps with the best of them. Give me 6 catches for 80 yards and a TD, with the chance for a few points on the ground as well.

The Steelers pass game has been off the charts this past few weeks. Big Ben averages 40 passes per game this year, including the contests he hasn’t played full games in due to injuries. Give me Markus Wheaton and Martavis Bryant this week if they are available in your leagues. Both are HUGE plays this week and have been excellent this 5-6 wees. All of the Steelers big 3 receivers are on a huge tear the past month or so. I wouldn’t be surprised with 6-8 catches and 70-100 yards from both of them this week.

Give me Will Tye this week. He’s been great the past 2 weeks, with red zone TD’s both of the last 2 weeks. With ODB suspended this week I expect an uptick in his looks. He has really come on since he had to step up for Larry Donnell. I see 6 catches for 65 yards and a TD. This guy works really hard and will be on the field no matter what as he is also a top notch run blocker.

I wish you all luck in your final matches, and for everyone else baseball is starting in 3-4 months….
