Good Afternoon Turkeys and Turkettes. We’re back for another riveting injury report after a short bye last week. I hope you’re satiated on some delicious food and at least one decent Thursday game.

Let’s take a look at our slate for Sunday and the poor fellows who won’t be attending.

The teams on bye this week are the Arizona Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. See ya next week!

The Tennesee Titans will be facing down the Patriots in Foxborough and it’s looking like they’ll be without a ton of starters. A.J. Brown and Jeremy McNichols are both ruled out. The Titans are running out of offensive gas, losing to the Houston Texans last week in a rough showing with Ryan Tannehill tossing 4 INTs. With Julio Jones and Derrick Henry out, it’s hard to see how Tennessee can move the ball pretty much at all. They have Adrian Peterson and D’Onta Foreman who are… fliers in the backfield and players like Nick Westbrook-Ikhine who could be in for a big game without anyone to compete with but if I don’t have to I’m not putting my stock in them. If I can avoid Tennesee this week, I’m staying away.

The Patriots are dealing with injuries in their backfield to Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson as well as TEs Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. Brandon Bolden is in line again to lead the run game here which has anchored New England to a hot streak these past few weeks. At TE if both Smith and Henry are down we could see Devin Asiasi starting but he hasn’t really shown much to be excited about. Last season, his rookie year, he had two catches for an average of 19.5 yard per reception so that’s fun! He’s a lottery ticket that I wouldn’t hope to cash.

The Falcons will be facing the Jaguars with an injury to Cordarrelle Patterson who missed last Thursday’s game against New England. He’s been limited in practice all week and it’s uncertain if he’ll be able to play Sunday.

The Jaguars are going to be down CB Shaquill Griffin possibly leading the way for some even more Kyle Pitts action with a subpar corner on him. Gimme gimme!!

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be down Eric Ebron who’s down with a knee injury. Those of you still hoping for more Pat Freiermuth can rest happy going into Sunday.

Tampa Bay against the Colts will be without Antonio Brown who’s been suffering for a few weeks with a nasty ankle injury. It’s looking like he’s on track to be back next week but it’s still a work in progress for him to be back on the field. On another note, Isn’t it great seeing Rob Gronkowski back? I need him to return to two tuddy Gronk immediately.

Tee Philadelphia Eagles are going to be missing Jordan Howard against the Giants. Boston Scott and Miles Sanders (remember him?) are going to be in line for the majority of the carries with maybe a little Kenneth Gainwell sprinkled in.

The Giants are again without Sterling Shepard and are likely also going to be missing rookie hype machine Kadarius Toney who is doubtful with his lingering quad injury. Saquon Barkley is on the report again as questionable and will likely play but still in a limited role.

For the New York Jets, Michael Carter is in line to miss a few weeks with a high ankle sprain. Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman are probably the two most poised to receive Carter’s carries in his absence but neither evoke a lot of promise to me. Corey Davis is questionable possibly bringing some more focus to Elijah Moore who’s had a bit of a resurgence these last few weeks. At QB, it’s looking like Zach Wilson is back in action. Let’s see how this run goes.

The 49ers will be without JaMycal Hasty again with Elijah Mitchell looking doubtful to play. In their absence, we may see more Jeff Wilson and maybe some Deebo Samuel in the backfield running the rock.

For the Packers, Aaron Rodgers has been not practicing all week with a toe injury but wasn’t given a game designation signaling he’s good to go against the Rams. Aaron Jones shockingly is questionable this week and not just completely out after his scare last week. I doubt we see him this week but it’s amazing he’s even in consideration. In his absence, James Connor is RB1.

For Cleveland, Baker Mayfield is still dealing with injuries to his entire body but wasn’t given a game designation meaning we’ll see him deal with the Ravens pass rush tomorrow. Anthony Schwartz has been ruled out and Donovan Peoples-Jones is questionable with a groin injury. I’m predicting a big day for Jarvis Landry and David Njoku.

For the Ravens, Lamar Jackson is off the injury report and I guess done with his illness. They’ll be without Miles Boykin and have Marquise Brown listed as questionable with a thigh injury. I’m feeling like this is another Sammy Watkins game. Eh? Anybody?
