I thought we’d try another big league this week.  First place gets $75, second $15 and third $10.  $5 to enter.  Last week’s winners were Rob McAngus, NickD, and Iltat.  Congrats!  To enter this week’s Super League click back an inch.

I don’t feel great about my team yet, but this is what I have so far —

QB Jay Cutler: I figure if I’m going to tout him again I better put my money where my mouth is.  So I am throwing some quarters on this pizza. Mmm, yummy money.  Detroit has a good defensive line, but poor defensive backfield.  Let’s hope Cutler gets some time to throw.

RB Jamaal Charles: Denver is rotten at stopping running backs and JC Superstar had 23 fake points against them a few week’s back.  Now he gets them at home and Tom Jones is fading rapidly.

RB Michael Turner: The Falcons are playing well all around and Turner is a big part of that.  I don’t see Tampa getting a lead big enough to take the Falcons out of the run game and Turner had 107 yards and 2 touchdowns the last time they met.  It’s hard not to see at least another 100 yards and a TD out of him.

WR Legedu Naanee: It is getting harder to find cheap receivers and with VJax and Gates hurt and Floyd not 100% I think we’ll see Naanee get plenty of targets.

WR Mario Manningham: The Redskins are still bad at football and Steve Smith is still out.  His upside isn’t astronomical, but I think he’ll get targets.

WR Greg Jennings: Dwayne Bowe’s price went up to 9,700 billion dollars so he is just too expensive for my tastes.  Jennings remains solid and gets San Fran at home.  I’m really not loving any receiver matchups this week. Maybe something will uncover itself during a research session.

TE Jacob Tamme: He’s really the only solid tight end going right now.  Peyton will want to exorcise some demons against Dallas.

K Shayne Graham: I had to skimp on the kicker.  Don’t love his matchup, but we’ll see.

D Seattle Seahawks: At home facing Jimmy Clausen across the U.S.A.
