Congrats to iltat, tyty2115, and rgintowt who were victorious in last week’s Fanduel leagues.  If you are out of the playoffs FanDuel is an awesometastic way to pick a team and root for them and throw stuff at your pets if they suck (don’t throw stuff at your pets).  Join and take me on — League 1, League 2, and League 3.

Jon Kitna: The Redskins vs. the Rednecks is usually a barn burner and the Skins are in a poor state of affairs.  For his price Kitna is a good bargain that will allow you to upgrade elsewhere.

Darren McFadden: He showed last week that he’s 100% back and 100% awesome.  He faces the other team he busted 3 touchdowns on and helped seal the fate of their coach in the process.  The Broncos are in a shambles right now and just let Tim Hightower go off, yeah that Tim Hightower.  It won’t take much of an effort to run on the Broncos and even if he only accumulates half of the fantasy points he did the last time he faced them, he’ll have 20+.

Jonathan Stewart: He’s averaging 20 carries his last 2 starts and has 330 yards in his last three games. Add to that the Cardinals are giving up over 170 total yards per game to running backs this season.

Reggie Wayne: He totaled 196 yards against the Jaguars the last time he faced them and has been on a tear lately.  This is a big game for the Mannings so I’m hoping for a big game from them both.

Andre Johnson: The guy is just a beast and he gets Cortland Finnegan again.  He has beat him badly in the past and now he has revenge as a motivator.  I like it.

Roddy White: Dwayne Bowe defiled the Seahawks a couple games ago and Roddy White is also a good defiler of secondaries.  The Seachickens will continue to give up passing yards for years to come.

Owen Daniels: The Titans are second in yards given up to tight ends, or is that 31st?  Whatever it is, it’s bad.  Daniels got plenty of work against the Ravens and should continue to get targets as he gets up to game speed.

John Kasay: The Cardinals have yet to give up less than 7 fantasy points to any kicker.

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Jets won’t be able to run effectively so we should get to see a lot of Mark Stanchez.  That misspelling spells fantasy points for the Steelers.

    Doc : Well of course I get wire screwed on the Chargers D and am up the creek. Which D would you snag for not this weekend but next weekend? I need to lose the Vikings D and the Falcons will be no good after this week so I need to Final week match-up.

    Texans vs Broncos
    Chiefs vs Titans
    Jags vs Skins

    Thanks

    Who you like best at TE this week?

    Boss vs Philly
    Shockey @ Bal
    Mercedes Lewis @ Ind

    And it is a 1 PPR league. I was thinking Boss. Thoughts?

    Pathetic FLEX question of the week. Start Best vs. TBB or R. Brown vs. Buffalo??

    Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hey Doc,

    who would you start at flex… Vjax, Choice, Westbrook, R Brown, Ward…

    Also would you sub any of those for T.O. this week or do you foresee a rebound by him against Cleveland

    I need to chose 3 WRs, 2RBs, and a flex for a playoff matchup this week. Scoring is 1 point every 15 rush and rec yards and 1 point per reception. All tds are worth 6 points.

    Jacobs v Philly
    J. Stew v AZ
    Matthews v Niners
    D. Brown v Jags
    Ivory @ Bal
    P. THomas @ Bal

    Anyone heard anything on Rodgers yet? I’ve been checking Rotoinfo, but there’s nothing new for today. I need to know for defensive purposes, right now I’m rockin’ the Pats, but if he’s in, I might look elsewhere.

  20. Penguin says:

    Doc, who do you like best as a flex play in a PPR league this week between Ronnie Brown (best matchup but never know if he’ll get the carries), Danny Woodhead (bad matchup, but game action guaranteed) or Tashard Choice?

  24. Chris says:
    (link)

    Sidney Rice vs CHI or Vincent Jackson vs SF?

    Opponent has Rivers, so it’d be nice to get in that handcuff in case SD puts up big pts…but even so, I’m not sure V-Jax will be greatly included. On the other hand, Tavaris Jackson is terrible, so Rice not might not do much himself. Decisions, decisions…

    http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&hl=195228&id=3118

    @Moonlight’s Grahams: I like TO

    @D Gross: White/CJ

    @Run DMC: Davis

    @Ian: Choice

    @Probable Party Starter: B, B, B

    @potus: Austin/Kitna you too Mr. President.

    @Joseph: Stick with them until we know and then dump if he doesn’t play

    @McNulty: Stew, Jacobs, Nicks, Fitz, Wallace, Mathews

    @FlyinHawaiianPizza: VJax/Daniels

    @Nick: Westy/TO

    @vinny: I like Best’s matchup

    @sean: JC and Mendy, AJ and Bowe/Jennings depending on their QB sitch, and OD

    @The Vaporizers: Agreed, I like Boss against Philly

    @Jason: Tough, but I’d lean Holmes back home

    @CL: DMC/Hillis, Man, those WRs are a toss up. Hard to bench Fitz with the # of targets he’s getting. I’d lean Fitz/Maclin

    @Howard: The Firm, Lloyd, Floyd

    @Mr2Bits: Jags

  26. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Nate: Leaning Brown

    @Chris: If Webb goes I’d lean VJax for sure. The game will be in very cold conditions so I could see going VJax there as well.

  27. genghis chone says:
    (link)

    Flex slot: Stewart or Forte? PPR

  28. Nick says:
    (link)

    @Doc: So Brian Westbrook over Vincent Jackson…I’m facing off against Rivers so like the post above, I’d like to handcuff that but I have no clue if VjaX will get any looks. San Diego defense is tough, yet you still think Westy will put up at least 10pts?

  29. Plainville says:
    (link)

    Who would you use as a flew this week:

    Ryan Torain
    Santana Moss
    Mike Williams (TB)

    Also, which D/ST of these three – Redskins, Chiefs or Rams

  30. Jah says:
    (link)

    need to start 2 of these:
    Bradshaw v PHI
    Blount v DET
    BJGE v GB

    I have Foster @ TEN starting already, he and Bradshaw got me here with the help of BJGE, but Blount’s matchup looks good and I’m concerned about Bradshaw’s wrist/last time vs. PHI.

    What do y’all think?

  31. Urs says:

    Doc,

    I realize the Cassel situation is a sketchy one right now….But what QB do you like most if they all are a go – Orton, Cassel, or Collins?

    One more – Ward or Britt in WR3?

  33. Nick says:
    (link)

    Intriguing, I just heard Malcolm Floyd was limited participant and will be game-time decision on Thursday…if he is on the sideline, I have to go with VjaX over Westy, right?

  36. GTS says:
    (link)

    Stewart vs AP is a no brainer right? Benching AP.

    Also, I have a tough decision between Torian vs DAL and A. Bradshaw vs PHI??? This could really mean a win/loss for me in playoffs. I’m having trouble deciding.

  37. Durb says:
    (link)

    Hey Doc I need some advice on my RB Situation. Whats your advice on starting Brandon Jacobs, Jonathan Stewart, Mike Goodson and Felix Jones? Which 2 would you roll with? Thanks.

  38. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Durb: JStew for sure, then it’s a little iffy. Leaning Jones.

    @GTS: I can’t get behind such things! I like JStew a lot, but I can’t bench AP for him. And then JStew over Torain and Bradshaw for me.

    @MJD Took A Knee: Tough one since it would be his first game back. His upside is good, but he’ll be risky. I like Collins’ matchup. I’d like to know exactly where Cutler would be playing.

    @Joel: Still leaning Tamme if he looks healthy this week.

    @Nick: Yeah

    @Urs: Britt

    @Urs: Orton is dead to me and I worry about Cassel being tentative even if he goes. I’d lean Collins.

    @Jah: Tough one. hard to sit Bradshaw the way he’s been playing. I’d probably lean toward sitting BGJE.

    @Plainville: Torain and KC

    @genghis chone: Stewart

  42. Zobmie says:

    Hey, Doc. PPR league. Which three would you start this week?

    Darren McFadden
    Jamaal Charles
    LeGarrette Blount
    LeSean McCoy
    Rashard Mendenhall

    I’m leaning toward McFadden, Charles and Blount…

  43. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @GTS: Ok, I’m starting to come around. It looks like Joe Webb will be the “guy.” I can see going with JStew.

    @Zobmie: DMC, McCoy, JC

    @DDT: A lot depends on how much Cassel practices and if Floyd goes and if Shaun Hill plays. I’m leaning Megatron, VJax, Bowe.

    @Slam: Cutler

  44. Hennessey says:
    (link)

    You like OD over Miller, right? And how close is it?

  45. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @Hennessey: I did, but I’m now starting to lean Miller. It is close.

  46. Hennessey says:
    (link)

    @Doc: Yeah, it’s a tough call. I’m leaning Miller mostly because Denver is in shambles. Would you start the Raiders D against them too, or go with either the Browns vs Cincy or Dolphins vs Buffalo? I’m leaning Browns there, but am curious to see what you think.

  47. Hennessey says:
    (link)

    I’m so indecisiveness…been about 10 seconds and I’m now thinking Dolphins.
