Here we are in the heart of December. It is week 15 of the NFL season which means it is the semi-finals for fantasy football. Outside of the semi-finals, we have a lot of fantasy football players that are playing to avoid last place punishment. We have seen some pretty grueling punishments for last place penalties and one of my keeper leagues has a long-standing punishment system as well.

This league has been running for 6 years and I have yet to finish last place, so I am pretty happy about that. The punishment for last place is that you have to get your belly button pierced and keep it in throughout the entire draft. This punishment fits into the mold of mildly inconvenient, while not life-altering or too embarrassing. We’re all friends from high school so we talk about it all year long. The bellybutton bowl. I bet if you asked everyone in the league, they would have a better memory of who got their bellybutton pierced than who actually won the league in any given year. Let’s get to the updated injury list and rankings for week 15.

I have 3 of the top 8 ranked receivers going this week. I need two RB from D. Montgomery, Sanders, Singletary, Mostert, and Freeman. I began the week with Mostert and Singletary, switched to Mostert and Sanders, then moved Montgomery in for Sanders. Clearly I’m all F’d up.

Sanders makes me nervous with Howard potentially coming back and that weird thing they have going on with B. Scott. Mostert is on a tear but Breida is back. Singletary faces a tough Pittsburgh run D. Montgomery has been hard to read all year, and Freeman is just plain hard to trust.

Was planning to start Seahawks D @ Car, but w/ Clowney out I’m having second thoughts. For some reason I have a good feeling about Tampa @ Det, which is down Jones and probably Scarbrough on offense. Most ranks say start Seattle–what do you think?

So benching Lamar for Bree’s has me way behind now. I need to swing for the fences. Would you start Will Fuller, John Brown or Byron Scott over Obj, C. Kirk or Diggs? Thanks amigo.

I’m up against CMC today. I did stick with Lamar, so for now I’m way ahead, but I can’t decide between Kirk, Cooper, Julio, or AJ Brown (need to pick 3 of those 4, or 2 and play Laird at flex…). Half PPR.

I have to fill one WR and one flex position. Thinking Theilen and James White, leaving Mike William’s, Washington and Hilton (if he plays) on the bench. What do you think? Thanks!

Dede or G. Tate 1/2 ppr?
You have Dede a little higher but same tier. Seems Tate has the better match up.

Thanks, enjoyed your posts all year.

Thanks for help all year. Helped get me in to the playoffs in two leagues.
Rolling with jameis over tannehill, opposite what somebody went with above but seems like a close call. My real concern is deeper down.
Standard league- running Henry and cmc as rbs.

Need three wrs from golladay, dj moore, kupp, obj, theilen, Fuller (tend to think that’s the order)
Flex from the remaining wrs plus ekeler, mostert, mack, Mixon

I have a stacked team really, so it’s all about finding the right play. Makes me hate my calls when I end up losing.

Half ppr. Lamar did his part for me and leveon didn’t sink me.
Playing amari, golladay, and need one of woods, m will, mclaurin. (With lamars game I should need floor more than ceiling to take it It going up against potential high ceiling guys in tyreke, a jones, and kamara)

Other spot is my backs, I have two spots to fill with sanders, mostert, mack and Conner. Leaning toward sanders and mostert but it’s a tough one for me. Especially since the second two guys are more likely to get the tds in theory
