Week 15 Pass Defense Stats for the last 7 weeks of football.

[table “9” not found /]

.

Key:

Each number is the ranking that the teams have in that particular statistic over the last 5 weeks.  For example, Green Bay has given up the least amount of passing yards per game so they have a “1″ under the “Yds/Gm” column.  The ranking on the left coincides with the average on the right.  The higher the number the worse their pass defense stats are.

Rank: Overall ranking of each team.

Team: The team that is being evaluated for their defensive strength

Opp: The team with your fantasy players

Yds/Gm: Total passing yards given up per game

QB FPA: Fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks

Comp%: Completion Percentage against

WR FPA: Fantasy points allowed to wide receivers

TE FPA: Fantasy points allowed to tight ends

DVOA: Defense-adjusted Value Over Average

Yds/c: Yards Per Catch

TDs: Passing touchdowns allowed

Average: The average of each each individual ranking (this makes up the overall ranking)

    My starting WRs are Lloyd and Wallace. I have V. Jackson on the bench. Am I crazy for wanting to start Jackson over Lloyd?

    @Jim Parkey: If Floyd doesn’t play I’d go VJax. Otherwise I’d probably still lean Lloyd.

    Little confused, here, Doc. GB doesn’t have a “1” under yards/gm…they have a 26 (Carolina has #1). Is something off or am I reading this wrong?

    @dsf: Yeah, something’s wrong. Let me work on it. Sorry.

    Cutler or Campbell?
    Z Miller (OAK) or O Daniels?
    Eagles D/ST or Miami D/ST?
    M Floyd or S Moss? J Webb has WR eligibility in Yahoo leagues. Would you start him over either of the two? Is Webb even the starter for sure on Monday Night Football?

    All of these questions are for non PPR. Thanks.

    @Doc:

    Which defense this week:

    Dallas vs Wash

    or

    Mia vs Buf

    Thanks.

    Need 1 RB, 1 Flex from the following 3 players:
    Jonathan Steward, Dwayne Bowe, Fred Jackson

    With Cassel likely to play, I’m leaning towards Stewart/Bowe, but FJax has been really strong for the past 6 weeks. Thoughts?

  8. Fletch says:

    @Doc: Kerry Collins or Jason Campbell?

    Steve Johnson or Brandon Marshall?

    Am I nuts for playing B. Jacobs this week over AP?

    thanks!

    @Fletch: Collins, Johnson, tough call, but I could see going with jacobs

    @JTin: JStew, FJax

    @herschel: Dallas

    @Chris D: Miller, Miami, Floyd id he goes, Webb if he doesn’t.

    Help!

    at WR, I have Nicks, but for 2nd spot, need to decide between Wallace, Garcon, or Floyd. I’ve been going Nicks/Wallace almost exclusively when I can but Garcon and Floyd are heating up.

    Flex: Options are Blount, Tolbert, or 2 of the 3 WRs above. Leaning towards Blount.

    TE: Tamme or Gonzalez??

    They’re good problems, but problems nonetheless.

    Do you think it’s safe to start Vincent Jackson yet in a PPR or should I stick with Floyd for another week? I could also start Westbrook there, but without that 80 yard td reception he didn’t really do much. Plus he got outplayed by Dixon in the running game and now gets a tougher matchup.

    But I must say every league I picked up Westbrook in, I started him because you were high on him since Alex Smith checks down alot (and you couldn’t have been more right). Westbrook was huge for me on such an important week. So it’s definitely tempting to roll with Westbrook again.
