The playoffs are HERE! Congratulations to all of you out there who are still alive. It doesn’t if you’re in a high-stakes league or a family home league, making the playoffs means you still have a shot at the title. Now, there’s no time for fluff and no more room for mistakes. I’m here to help with the most important position on your fantasy roster – the QB position. Let’s get it done!
Here are my QB STARTS and SITS for Week 15.

QB STARTS
- Player: Justin Herbert
- Game: vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After a string of strong QB play, Justin Herbert has come back down to Earth lately, including a clunker in Week 13 on the road in Atlanta. For this week though, he draws a home matchup against a defense ranked 30th vs QBs. As our Home/Road Player Splits tool shows, Herbert is 26% better at home than on the road, so look for a return to form as the Chargers continue their march to an AFC playoff berth.
- Player: Bryce Young
- Game: vs Dallas Cowboys
Bryce Young is trending in the right direction. After the early season benching, he’s showing signs of why the Panthers drafted him 1st overall last year. As a fantasy QB, he’s probably not your first choice yet but in a 2-QB league, you could do a lot worse. He has at least one TD pass in each of his last six games and now throwing the ball over 30+ times per game over the past three contests. Add to that his ability to scramble, adding a TD in week 13. As our Home/Road Player Splits tool shows, Young is 32% better at home than on the road and we know the Cowboys reputation on the road. Again, I’m not suggesting he’s your QB#1, but definitely consider him in a 2-QB league.
- Player: Kyler Murray
- Game: vs New England Patriots
It may not always look pretty, but Kyler Murray has generally delivered for his fantasy owners the past few weeks, including three of his last four games over 20 fantasy points (one of those over 30 points). On the season, Murray is averaging about 17.5 fantasy points per game. So, he makes for a nice ceiling play again this week when the Cardinals host the Patriots, a defense allowing the ninth most fantasy points to QBs.
QB SITS
- Player: Caleb Williams
- Game: @ Minnesota Vikings
Drafting Caleb Williams to lead your fantasy team has resulted in a roller coaster ride. He has five games with over 25 points, but also six games at or below 13 points. That doesn’t provide a lot of confidence for week one of the playoffs, does it? As our Home/Road Player Splits tool shows, Williams is averaging three less fantasy points per game on the road, which doesn’t bode well when you’re averaging only slightly more than 15 points per game. To make matters worse, QBs are averaging more INTs (1.54 per game) than TDs (1.38 per game). Stay away.
- Player: Anthony Richardson
- Game: @ Denver Broncos
If you take my advice about pivoting from a road game versus the Vikings, you’ll want to do the same for a road game versus the Broncos. Denver boasts a top 10 defense vs QBs, limiting them to just over 16 fantasy points per game. Since his last 2-game hiatus in weeks 9-10, Richardson has been supplementing his meager passing numbers with rushing TDs. To be a fantasy asset this week, he’ll need to do more of the same against one of the best defenses in limiting QB rushing TDs…in Denver. It’s more likely we see another tap-out.
- Player: Kirk Cousins
- Games: @ Las Vegas Raiders
The matchup is not bad here (Raiders allow the 8th most fantasy points to QBs), but there’s just something wrong with Cousins these days. Kirk comes into this one after having thrown eight INTs and NO (that’s right, ZERO) TDs over the past four games. If there was a “get-right” game on his schedule, this would be the one but are you going to risk your playoff life? I’m not!
