Greetings IDP earthlings and welcome to week 7. As the “haves” and “have-nots” start to separate in the standings like Guinness and Bass in the same glass one must either settle in or interrupt the vicious cycle. Stocked with linebackers like a Kevin Colbert draft board and need help at WR? Make a move! The time is now, lift off.

Who do you like better out of Battle and Benson the rest of the season? Also, would you drop Julio Jones for Greg Little or Steve Breaston? I’m in a bind with Nicks on a bye and Marshall’s status in the air. Thanks!

If you could only start 1 IDP out of these, who would it be: Posluszny vs BAL, Allen vs GB, or Laurinaitis @DAL?

  3. Salty Balty says:

Struggling to find a 2nd QB in a 2 QB league after Campbell’s injury. Who would you pick up, Beck, Moore, or Whitehurst? Leaning toward Whitehurst, but, as you can see, there ain’t much on the wire.

Also, if Julio Jones plays this Sunday, start him or Harvin? I could see the Vikings going down early and throwing the ball a ton.

@MrHappyTime: Personally, I’m in “wait-and-see” mode with Battle, so Benson wins ROS today. Deep league I’d sweat it out with Jones. Shallow (10 or less) I’d pull the trigger and ride the hot hand.

@sit bits: Like Pos there, but it is close.

@Salty Balty: Ugh, huh? Yea, leaning toward Moore actually, assuming Marshall is healthy and targeted heavily. Save the sweat and start Harvin. Ponder looked Harvin’s way in his brief debut as well.

My league starts only 1 individual defensive player. Which player, out of the group that I named, would you start?

Oops, sorry, I didn’t see the reply above. Something is fishy with this website on my DROID…

No worries. I mangled the first reply, but recovered nicely the second time.

Ugh is right. Vick on a bye this week and Ryan next week, so I’m gonna need two weeks out of whoever I pick up. Not so nice, especially considering Vick is bound to go down for at least a week or two. After some trades, I have three stud RBs in L. McCoy, M. Forte, and C. Johnson (also have Earnest Graham). Should I think about trading one of them? I hate, hate, hate the prospect of trading RBs, but I’m kind of in a bind.

Picked up Whitehurst while my comment was pending. I see the argument on Moore, but I like the fact that it’s now or never for Whitey and he’s had a bye week to prepare. How heavily were you leaning towards Moore?

QBs are EXPENSIVE in 2 QB leagues, so you might want to sit tight and ride Vick and Ryan to maintain your strong backs (assuming standard scoring). Whitehurst is fine there, just be aware that T-Jax could be in the picture next week. Moore’s match-up with the Giants isn’t great next week either, especially if Tuck, Osi, and J.P.P all play.

Need to start 2RBs, 2WRs and 1 Flex (RB/WR) – who should sit:

    Mendenhall
    Mathews
    Tolbert
    Helu
    Maurice Morris
    Megatron
    Santonio holmes
    Decker

I’m probably gonna go Whitehurst this week and go with a different QB next week. I just have a feeling touchdown jesus has 230 yds and 2 tds in him this week. Of course, 110 yards an 3 ints is just as probable. Moore looked pretty decent in the first half last week and could have had nice numbers if his receivers could hold onto any passes. Kind of a depressing choice either way though. I’m probably just going to flip a coin, seriously. F***ing Jason Campbell.

    Thanks man, appreciate it.

Reggie Wayne or Greg Little for the rest of the season?

@Plainview: I’m sitting Morris, Tolbert, and Helu in that bunch.

@MrHappyTime: Still like Wayne there, but it is oddly close. Painter favoring Garcon tampers with Reggie’s elite status.

Who do I sit, need 4 out of 5… Desmond Bishop, Sean Lee, Jared Allen, Jason MCcourty and Lardarius Webb. Rough bye week and every little point going to help.

I’m thinking McCourty, but J.Allen is probably the biggest risk given his reliance on sacks.

    Qb- stafford
    WR-Vincent Jackson
    WR-Nate Washington
    RB-cj2k
    RB-Steven jacks
    Te-Dallas Clark
    WR/RB/Te- A Hernandez
    WR/RB/Te-Percy

Is it smart to trade Vincent Jackson and a Hernandez for Jimmy Graham and Eric decker? Or should I try to get more? Like add on Lloyd and/or magahee to the deal? PPR 1 poi

    • Brodes

      Brodes says:
      (link)

Graham in PPR is tempting, but selling V-Jax really weakens your WR slot. If you make deal, I’d look for another upside WR to fill any gaps the Tebow/Decker combo might create.

  18. no Michael Bennett in the list, what kinda shizz is that? His steady production should have him in the middle of the pack, whiffed on that 1 ya did

Chicago is a nice match-up. Nice catch. Though he’s dealing with a groin strain…
