Without Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson the top receiver spots are tougher to guesstimate . . . Roddy White continues to be solid and you can’t doubt his ability, but he’s not the clear cut #1  . . . Nmandi Asomugha supposedly won’t be shadowing one specific receiver which is good news for Brandon Lloyd . . . Robert Meachem gets Eric Wright who is a sad example of a cover corner . . . Dwayne Bowe gets another easy matchup, and the next few games look pretty good to . . . I like Mike Wallace to continue to be the #1 in Pittsburgh . . . You could do worse than Buster Davis for an emergency start with Floyd and Naanee out . . . Carolina Steve Smith is back and he’s worth a play with Matt Moore back . . . I may be selling Roy Williams short, but I see Dez taking away snaps.

    Which 2 would you suggest to start? Knox, Harvin or Marshawn Lynch? Thanks!

    @Atomic: Lynch, Knox

    Would you play Harvin over Wallace in a PPR format?

  6. Doc

    @Lou: I’d lean Harvin in PPR

    Hey thanks for all the advice!

    So I need to pick a WR and a flex b/w Beanie Wells, Welker, Santana Moss, and Steve Smith (Car).

    I’m thinking Wells for sure and then having a tough time b/w Moss & Welker, but I’m leaning towards Moss what do you think?

  8. Andy says:

    Knox or Mike Williams (TB). I can’t decide between the two as far as who to keep…Knox just always seems to get 80+ yds. Well, at least when Cutler is the QB.

    Lots of toss-ups in my lineup this wk, any help is appreciated!

    1: Kolb or Cutler?
    2: Starting A. Miles as my WR1 and J. Charles as my RB1, for WR2, RB2 and WR/RB spots I’m stumped!
    I have MJD, R Torain, W McGahee, H Ward, S Moss…I feel like I could start any/all of them and just can’t choose…

    @LK: I’m giving Welker another shot this week. I think we have a high scoring game in SD.

    @Andy: Going with Knox

    @D89: Kolb/Moss/MJD/McGahee

    Harvin or Knox, PPR, point per 25 return yards?

  12. SDPete says:

    Hey Doc, thanks in advance, love the site. I’m going with Knox/Wallace at WR, but do you think I should roll with Ahmad Bradashaw at flex over Ochocinco? I’m thinking Chad might be in for a big game. Or maybe I’m too optimistic.

  13. Doc

    Doc says:

    @SDPete: Thanks. I agree that Ocho could go off, but until TO proves he isn’t getting the majority of the targets I’m holding off. I would lean Bradshaw in prime time.

  14. Calogero says:

    non-PPR…can I really play Knox over Welker? I’m kind of tempted to, but I already have Wallace starting and it’d be tough to go with 2 all-or-nothing types in Wallace and Knox who could just as likely put up 2 points as 20.

    On the other hand, do you think we can read into Amendola’s performance against SD last week to see how they’ll play Welker? Or is Welker still a good bet for his usual 6-8 points on yards and hope for the TD bonus?

  15. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Calogero: I’m leaning Welker now. The weather isn’t going to be perfect in Chicago and I think we see a pretty high scoring game in SD.

  16. Calogero says:

    @Doc:
    That’s funny, I was just checking out the weather. If there’s one player in the league who needs a nice dry field to excel, it’s probably Knox.

    I’ll keep an eye out tomorrow, but I feel like I might err on the side of Welker since he has very little risk of putting up a crippling 2 points (though probably less upside).

    I still like Welker over Felix Jones too, but I see a not insignificant possibility that I will regret this.

    which 2 would you start in a standard espn non ppr league felix jones, micheal bush, carolina steve smith, or crabtree?

  18. djbooyah20 says:
    (link)

    Need to start 2 WRs and RBs and a flex:

    Brandon Marshall, Derrick Mason, Eddie Royal
    MJD, Felix Jones, Marshawn Lynch, McFadden, Fred Jackson

    Free Agents Available: Lance Moore, Patrick Crayton, Sims-Walker, Steve Johnson, Amendola.

    Also trade advice need…My MJD for Hillis and Garcon? Might be able to also squeeze Moreno out of him, if I throw Fred Jackson in.

  19. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @john: Tough, Bush and Smith

    Marshall/Mason/Lynch/MJD/Jones

    If you could get Moreno/Hillis/Garcon for MJD/Jackson I’d do it
