We made it! Well, almost. I hope everyone had an incredible or incredibly inebriated Labor Day weekend. There are still drafts to be done for some people (I still have 3 drafts over the next two days). But, it’s time for us as a site to get into our regularly scheduled programming. Let me tell introduce you to what we have going on during the season here at Razzball.

First, Rudy has some amazing tools and projections to help you win your fantasy football leagues. The NFL Depth Charts tool is regularly updated with all of the snap count predictions and roster information that you need for fantasy football. Rudy has also introduced the trade analyzer which was a big hit over on the baseball side of the site. You can also sign up for Rudy’s premium content and that includes a seven day FREE trial.

I’ve got you covered for everything else that you will need on Sundays. In the morning, I will be putting up the introduction post for the day. This will include quick hits on my thoughts for the week, an injury report, and maybe even some weather conditions. I do this so you have a thread where you all can leave comments with lineup questions, my thoughts on foreign policy, or the occasional f*ck, marry, kill. I’ll answer them all. I follow this up with a review of Sunday’s action that is posted on Monday morning so you have something to do while ignoring work emails.

On Tuesday morning, Kerry Klug will kick your fantasy football week off with a report on the waiver wire followed by Reid’s Tuesday hot takes and Jen’s always popular Hit It Or Quit it. Wednesday is rankings day around here. Zach and myself will have our rankings posted for your viewing but not before a post from Jay! Nico closes out Wednesday’s with his running back handcuffs post. Jay also leads off Thursdays with his rankings and that is followed by B-Don’s streamers and Kerry’s injury report.

Friday is the day that Reid will give you his line plays to go along with other fantasy football thoughts for the week. Rotowan will hook you up with the DFS content that you’ll need to make some cash over the weekend and that is followed by our newest contributor, Potent_Skitts, giving you the dynasty report for the money in the long-term. Saturday, we wrap up the week of preparation with Zach’s Start/Sit article.

We’re excited to have you for another season at Razzball to ingest all of the fantasy football content that you desire. You can follow me on Twitter here.

i found all the league settings stuff in there, but still don’t know about the draft order. is it final, and if so did it just happen to be random that you have the 1.1 or do all the writers get the 1.1 (or whatever slot they desire as they set up the leagues), or does the order get randomized later? even beyond that, if your slot isn’t random how did we get our slots (it can’t be from the order we signed up as i’m the 3rd while being the last guy in)

    – i know the last time i got the 1st as comish i made sure to show the randomization process so guys i barely know didn’t wonder about that (FFtoolbox has a great team order random generator, it sends results to all owners), esp as in that instance it was a money league.

    – of course here it was never said the order was random in the first place.

@Eli Man Penguin Boy: this will be my 3rd RCL this season and it’s the only time I’ve gotten first pick. Fantrax generates it. I’m not sure how to show it’s randomized. I honestly prefer the backend of drafts.

@MB: i’m guessing we don’t know how our slot is determined either (the other 11 owners). i got 3rd even though i was the 12th person in. it’s possible it randomizes AS we join of course. so it doesn’t do it all at once, it would be the moment you join (or set up in your case) as to when the randomization occurs.

I think that randomized as people joined. As soon as you join the league, you can see your draft spot in the draft room whether the league is full or not

    Ended up with:
    QB-Luck, Big Ben
RB-Johnson, Mixon, Collins, J Williams, Michel
    WR-Evans, JuJu, Sanders, Crabtree
    TE-Njoku
    K-Elliot
    D-Baltimore

Traded Michel for Cooks yesterday. Don’t really trust Patriots backs.

What do you think of the roster?

I really like the depth! Well done.

@MB: Do you feel like I am weak anywhere? A place I should look on the waiver wire?

I mean, I’m not a Crabtree fan, but that’s not bad for your 4th receiver, haha. Njoku is boom or bust but I’m all in on him this season as well. Tight end replacements aren’t terribly difficult to find on the waiver wire

yo mb. FAAB question. 1/4 ppr, 2 QB, 12 team redraft. $100 FAAB. someone dropped baldwin. i’d go for him anyway but my WRs are especially weak so not sure if i should try to put in a competitive bid or just go all out and max out.

roster is qb-russ, mahomes, rb-leveon, hunt, wr-DT, corey davis, TE-engram, wr/te flex-fuller. bn-alshon, edelman, aaron jones, darnold, hyde, lockett.

not going to be able to hold 3 dudes who won’t play until week 3 at earliest so i’d probably drop alshon for baldwin. how high would you go on baldwin?

    thanks!

I mean, why was Baldwin dropped?! Yeah I’d put half of my faab to get him. Probably the best WR season that you’ll get off of the wire

16 team ppr dynasty. team is loaded but haven’t even been able to make a final in the last 3 years. taking a look at end of my roster to see if any better options on the wire.

QB (start 1) – deshaun, big ben, tyrod, rb (start 2)-leveon, white, hyde, tymont, cja, conner, jaylen samuels, WR (start 2; will also start 2 of these in flex spot)-julio, baldwin, DT, tyreek, allison, daesean hamilton, demarcus robinson, te (start 1) – gronk, asj, gates. k-gostkowski, DEF-chargers

grabbed gates once he signed to have another backup in case gronk goes down.

would you drop anyone from my roster for any of:
    shelton gibson
    jordan lasley
    ellington
    chris moore
    jordan akins
    justin watson
    mike boone
    roc thomas
    buddy howell
    javon wims
    richie james

in half PPR, i need to drop alfred morris or breida. who gets the boot?

    • MB

      MB says:

@Matt: I think Alfred Morris scores more fantasy points this season. Matt Breida will most likely score more in the short term. Depends on your needs
