Don't be shellfish...Tweet about this on TwitterShare on FacebookShare on Google+Share on Reddit

There are certain players that make me wish that Fantasy Football Roto were more common.  I think I’ve heard them called ‘total points leagues’ before which is probably more apropos but since I love fantasy baseball and fantasy football, I always try to find a way to amalgamate the two into my understanding of the world.  I actually thought it would be a great beginners league to do H2H football but with categories.  You know: Passing Yards you either win or lose like baseball head to head…*Crickets*.  Ok, clearly I’m talking to myself.  You like the traditional tried and true.  The head to head format that pits mano-a-mano, mano-a-womano and sometimes even womano-a-womano.  Hrm, now I’m thinking of mud wrestling…sorry lady readers, my reptilian brain has clearly only progressed so far.  But I digress, I bring up this topic of points leagues because Cam Newton is the epitome of a QB you’d want to draft in a total points league.  Cam has spent the last two years floating between mediocre to living up to his moniker of Superman and this year his schism hasn’t balanced out any better.  Coming into tonight, Cam had 2 games of scoring 25 or more twice on the year, and three where he scored between 12 and 16 and topped off with a 6 point performance against the Cards after scoring a season high 30.  But after a 27 point night against the Bucs, Cam is back in his owner’s good graces and honestly that’s where he should stay.  You drafted him to be a top 5 QB and so far, the stats say he’s well on his way.  If you didn’t want the roller coaster ride, you shouldn’t have bought the ticket.  To give you a different analogy, you liked it and you decidedly put a ring on it.  Sometimes you get this Beyonce and sometimes you get the other Beyonce.  You got 99 problems and the B!@#$ ain’t one and other times…well, yikes.  It’s the life of being a Cam owner.  You either hate it or embrace it but either way you lack discipline if his imbalance throws you off.  In other news from TNF for 2013 Fantasy Football…

Vincent Jackson – Sure the night wasn’t amazing as he only had 5/79 with no scores but he had 13 targets.  That’s now 35 targets in the last two weeks and 24/331/4 on 49 targets over the last 3 weeks.  At this point, VJax has had Rivers, Freeman and now Glennon throw to him and he’s been a stud.  Pretty sure Tim Tebow could look like a star around this guy.  Quick, TB, sign him before anyone else does!

Tedd Ginn, Jr. – The good is the 5/80.  The bad is that he nearly fumbled a punt return and dropped what would’ve been a TD bomb earlier in the game.  The third muy mal thing about this whole bad trilogy is that next week, LaFell is gonna replace him on the WR2 podium no doubt.

Mike Tolbert – Very surprised by his role this week with 11 total touches – 4 via reception – to go with a 64/1 night.  His increased role of late makes me think that J-Stew might not be long for this team or may even have issues with his current injury.  If you are desperate at RB, the kool-aid man looks primed to help you out, at least in the long term.  OH YEAH.

DeAngelo Williams – Not a huge night – 8/43/1 on the ground and 1/8 through the air – as the Panthers seem content on being discontent with whatever RB is their starting.  I still contend that he has a huge December based on 2 years of December stats that really mean nothing to anyone but me.  But hey, I sat him in the Writer’s League so what the heck do I know.

Tim Wright – Granted, most of his stats came in garbage time but given his team is garbage, times like these could last forever.  Not bad getting 5/48/1 at TE from the FA pool.  Here’s to Bostick seeing this line and saying ‘I can do that’ on Sunday.

Greg Olsen – He-man came up big early and then disappeared.  After scoring an early TD, you’re not wrong in expecting a big game but Olsen finished with 3/21/1 line.  Maybe his furry, He-Man underwear started bunching up on him.

Mike Glennon – Still has long ball issues but after a 30/51 night for 275/1/0, I’m putting Glennon down in the guilty pleasures book which sits on my night stand.  The previous page contains Lindsay Lohan pics.  I really hope I don’t confuse those two pale skins in a moment of passion…

Great work as always man, but I was expecting a Mike James who Mike James James write up. What were your thoughts on his night. Hell fell one point short of projections in my ppr league. I didn’t start him, do you think he is roster worthy still? Do you have any sort of projections for him the ROS

    • Cram It says:
      (link)

      @Justin: He’s a starting RB, so he’s roster worthy.

    • Principle Blackman says:
      (link)

@Justin: James may have only averaged 3.9 ypc, but I would say that’s not terrible for a rookie RB thrust into the starting position against Carolina’s stout run D. The fact that he also chipped in 4 receptions was an unexpected little PPR bonus.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Justin: Yeah, got home late so I was flying through the writeup. Forgot to talk about James. Overall, thought he looked good. Quick burst and went against a very tough run D. I was impressed in that respect but moving forward he’s still only a low end RB2/flex until that offense finds a spark.

@Sky: Also with Martin returning in mid nov it will kill his value.

Awesome work as usual. Quick question. In a 12 team, points league, I just got offered this deal:
I get Jimmy Graham, TY Hilton
I give Danny Woodhead, Julius Thomas

If I take the deal and Graham sits, I’ll likely have to play Bostick or pick up whatever TE fodder I can find. Prob Watson if he’s still out there. Also my opponent this week has Brees. Is there any concern abt Jimmy ROS or is only for this week?

My current 1-6 roster (won my first game last week w00t!):
    QB R Wilson
    RB Z Stacy, D Sproles
    WR H Douglas, D Amendola
    TE J Thomas
    FLEX P Hillis

I know your thoughts on Morris so I may be wasting my time. But anyway. Helu or Morris, who has the better day Sunday? My thoughts are that Denver coming off their first loss are going to look to put up a shit ton of points forcing Was into their “Turbo” package earlier that normal leaving Morris on the sidelines and Helu on the field for more snaps. Agree or disagree?

So I was gonna go with Stills at the flex over Gibson, with Graham maybe not playing and Moore still banged up. But someone just dropped Durham this morning. How much more do you like Durham than Stills/Gibson? I have Stafford, so the hookup would be extra nice.

    • Principal Blackman says:
      (link)

@Cram It: I think Stafford likes Durham quite a bit more than Brees likes Stills. I also think the Detriot game will be higher scoring and more competitive than NO v Buf. So I’d go Durham.

                (link)

@Sky: I’ve always liked Ponder a lot more than the average bear. Good arm, fairly accurate, mobile. He just makes really, really poor decisions when throwing sometimes. Always felt he could correct the thought process. Guy hasn’t even gotten two full seasons under his belt.

If he becomes anything, I see an Alex Smith-type. Which means a solid guy that’ll help you not lose but the moment a big name QB hits the FA pool or the draft, his team goes after it. It’s not a damning statement by me but I don’t see the upside in him outside of that.

                  • Cram It says:
                    (link)

@Sky: He hasn’t had anyone to throw to until this year, and they’re not even using Patterson correctly. But I agree with you. Alex Smith-type with mobility…I’d take that. I’m basically saying Ponder doesn’t suck as one would be lead to believe what with getting benched for Josh Freeman and all.

I hope Bostick can match Wright’s line from last night…seeing as I dropped Wright for Bostick.

In another league I’m in, it’s a .5PPR league. Which two would you start?
    -Orange Julius
    -Jordan Reed
    -LaVeon Bell

I’m thinking I might roll with both TE’s. I’ve never in a million years thought I would entertain starting a TE in my Flex.

    • Sky

      Sky says:

@Shake N Bacon: Wright’s line was pretty fluky. Late TD and only had 2 catches heading into the 4th. Not saying I dislike him but I wouldn’t feel bad for missing it in that respect. I’d roll with both TEs too, personally.

Not sure why I like reclamation projects. Do you feel Richardson (Colts) has any upside going forward.
Who has greater potential hitting 12 -15 fpts consistently Matthews, McFadden or Richardson or none?

I have Vareen stashed, so I am feeling I should risk a trade for more potential upside.

Great question then: in your opinion which RB has most potential for a 2nd half make over?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Ferris: The closest would still be T-Rich. Has a week to get things right with the new team. I think we’ve seen the bad things about his game. Thinking the Colts can find a way to exploit the good more down the road.

  13. Moscowitz says:
    (link)

    Hey Sky,

Assuming Mendenhal doesnt play, would you start Ellington vs. ATL over Stacy vs. SEA? I for my one, think Ellington as a starter is a better play than Stacy against that stout SEA defense who will stack the box knowing there isnt gonna be much of a throwing game with Bradford out.

    • Cram It says:
      (link)

@Moscowitz: I think Ellington is used the same way he has been even without Mendenhall. Smith and Williams might take the Mendenhall role. I hope I’m wrong though because I’m starting Ellington regardless.

      • Moscowitz says:
        (link)

        @Cram It:

Well you might start Ellington but we dont know about your other options. My question obviously is, if you guys would start Ellington over Stacy

        • the imp says:
          (link)

@Moscowitz: My take on your question is to start Ellington if you need ceiling and Stacy if you need floor. Given the matchup, they are in the same overall tier for me.

          • Cram It says:
            (link)

@the imp: Yes, in short, what The Imp said. Stacy’s safe, Ellington has a higher ceiling this week.

        • Cram It says:
          (link)

@Moscowitz: I’m saying whether or not Mendenhall plays shouldn’t change what you were going to do with Ellington. You sounded like you were going with Stacy until you heard Mendenhall might not start. I’m not with Sky on his Stacy ranking. At best he should do what he did against Carolina, 60ish yards and a BIG maybe TD. Atlanta’s D sucks and I’m hunching that Ellington has a pretty big day whether he touches the ball 5 times or 15 times. But that’s just me.

      • the imp says:
        (link)

@Cram It: It is a confusing situation to be sure. Smith didn’t have a single carry last week, so maybe he takes passing downs instead of 1st and 2nd down work. It’s not like Smith is a big bruiser, he is listed as only 8 lbs heavier than Andre. Ryan Williams has been a healthy scratch all year. I don’t know what AZ worries about with Ellington and keeps saying they are going to use him on a pitch count. Ellington has shown he could do both jobs better than anyone else on their roster….the only thing I can think of is that he gets blown up in pass protection like many rookie RBs do. I’m rostering and starting him this week in one last hope his role expands a little more. If Mendy is out and that role doesn’t expand, I think we have to accept Ellington is what he is for this year.

    • Sky

What do you think of trading Jordan Cameron for someone like Ridley or Vereen and something extra. I’m starting MJD and Ellington at RB with Ryan Matthews. I scooped up Andre Brown and lost Doug Martin. Is that not enough or do you think Cameron will get back to his TD scoring ways? I have Heath Miller as my backup and I could probably get Fleener thrown in the trade.

    • Sky

      Sky says:

@The Dead Heads: Cameron’s been a top 5 TE performer almost every week. I wouldn’t be throwing that out for a wildcard RB. Not saying it’s unfair but think he’s worth more in the long run than that.

I have a love/hate with Vick right now….am I crazy to see him as a top 10 QB ROS? I understand why folks may not see that now, fresh off of missing 2.5 games, but on a per game basis it seems like he is definitely in a tier above Luck, Wilson and Kap. He might even be better than Brady (though his weapons are back) or Ryan. How do you rate him?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@the imp: He’s just been too inconsistent with his arm to trust him at that level. Plus his injury issues this year have been leg-related. Not good news for a 30+ year old QB known for his running. I’d say he’s a fringe top 12 at this stage. He’ll have some huge games but he’ll have some sloppy/messy ones too and maybe another injury down the road.

      • the imp says:
        (link)

@Sky: My league must agree with you, he made it to the 8-hole for me to pick him back up after I dropped for an emergency WR3. I’ve tried a couple more trade offers, but am getting little love….I’m sure that is because they can see I dropped him last week.

So is it safe to say you are okay with trading him for any top 40 WR and/or dropping if no trade and Amendola and Harvin are both out this week, right?

Do you play in any keeper formats? I don’t really know what strategy I should be taking when approaching trades.

For example I have one offer on the table, and I don’t know how to approach it.

I get: Jordan Reed and a 2014 9th round pick
I give: Jordan Cameron and a 2014 12th round pick

Looks pretty even, player for player considering the changes at QB in Cleveland and I also own Gronk who has the same bye week as Cameron. Except Cameron can be kept for a 12th round pick next year and Reed because he was a free agent pickup can be kept for a 8th. Gronk is a 4th round keeper, if it matters. Thoughts?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

@Scott: I’d want Cameron. Age difference is bordering on null and Reed has some major health history issues. Like them both but Cameron is the one I’d want.

@Sky: Thanks Sky. Do you have any advice on keeper league strategy, in general? Or any links to previous articles of yours or sources where I can read up on keeper leagues? Just interested on whether the strategy is any different than a re-draft league

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

It’s different in that trades of known talent for upside happen more often. Your drafts tend to have a longer outlook so drafting the 23 YO potential stud over the consistent 33 YO happens more often than not. QB and WR get a boost in those drafts for the length of their careers over an RB. Lots to cover but we haven’t really delved into it for the site yet. I just don’t have time for the coverage.

@Scott: So I read your article on buying low on Morris

              Morris & Amendola & 2014 8th round pick
              for
              Ridley & Cameron & 2014 12th round pick

same keeper league mentioned above. 05. ppr, 10 teams
RB – Charles, R.Bush, Ridley, Ellington
WR – Dez, Cruz, Peter Waiter, Floyd, Boykin, T. Austin
              TE – Gronk, Cameron, Rudolph

I think you’ll tell me to stay put. I wouldn’t mind getting out from underneath Ridley for a back I could potentially use in the FLEX. But I also not sold on giving up my 2014 keeper. Maybe if that draft pick was higher? Thoughts?

I’d take the Morris side there. You have the depth at WR and TE to make that move. Think Morris is gonna have a great ROS.

  21. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

Would you give Wilson and Gronk for Rodgers or Brees if you had Reed to fill in at TE? 4 pt TD pass, 5 pt bonus at 300 passing or 100 rush/receive.

    • Steve Stevenson says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: Also, how would you rank these WR targets ROS, standard scoring w/ bonus? Marshall, V-Jax, Nelson, Welker.

  22. Kyle says:

Thanks for answering my question last week. I was wondering if I should trade Jordan Cameron for Vernon Davis. It’s a 2 player keeper, Cameron would cost a 6th pick to keep next year where Vernon would cost a 3rd. My match up this week is okay, feeling confident but not about Camerons match up against KC with Campbell at the helm. I think I’d prefer Vernon vs the Jags. Vernons bye is next week, but my opponent has Calvin, Fitz…. And even his WR3 on a bye. I’m looking good for next week because of this… So I can afford Vernons bye. Week 10 gets a little more difficult because this is Camerons bye. If I have Vernon in my week 10 match up, this should put me as a favorite for that week. Every game to me is a must win.. But isn’t it always? I’m wondering if the drop off in terms of keeper Rd choices for the 2 isn’t worth making the trade to be worthy for the matchups.. Thanks very much sorry for making you read so much lol.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Are you considering keeping either? I’d take Vernon there. Seems odd both of those guys were drafted so high. I’m assuming you have a unique draft setup to create those round values.

      • Kyle says:
        (link)

14 team league lol. So everyone’s a little higher than usual. Jcam was my sleeper but during the tightend wave… I had to grab the gguy I wanted which I could have gotten a little later. Yo keep a playeryou must lose one round of where they were drafted last season. So jJordan was in the 7th he cost a 6th.

1.0 PPR league… Currently 5-2 but only due to the scheduling gods shining down on me… My team isn’t that good and can’t expect to do any damage at all come the playoffs… As such, do I invest for November by:

I trade Brady + Justin Blackmon
I receive Philip Rivers + CJ Spiller + Danny Amendola

Rivers/Pryor then stream in my lineup. I think it’s a deal to do to prepare for the playoffs. Agree or Disagree? Strongly or not?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

I think you’re taking a gamble. As much as I like Spiller/’dola, they haven’t proven anything this year. Like I said, it’s a risk that’ll either make you look like a genius week 16 or an idiot. There’s really no other way it’ll work out. If your team is ‘bad’, I think it’s worth it.

After this wknd I need to get rid of a WR cause TE and QB on byes. Jordy, cruz, andre johnson aren’t leaving. So its between
Keenan Allen ( like his targets and ROS schedule, dislike injury history. Would have 11th rd Keeper value if turned out to be a star)
Terrance Williams (becoming very consistent, looking like he’s gonna hold down the WR 2 spot in Dallas with his talent and austins injury woes. Also 11th rd keeper value
Or Colston (really can’t stand him right now, but I know potential is there, NO keeper value. Would be 1st rd. That aint happening)
If Colston under performs once again in a matchup with Buf I think he’s gotta go. Whatcha think Sky?

I think you should be looking to make a trade if you’re already thinking about this. No chance you can move for an upgrade? maybe a 2 for 1 even if the value isn’t there fully? Someone’s gonna pick up any of these guys you drop.

As you said, you’re doing it after this weekend. Think you need to see how this weekend unfolds before you make a decision. I’d be inclined to drop Allen there.

Panthers D almost had a very nice night ruined by late garbage pts/yds . Schiano deciding to kick that FG should have gotten him fired on the field. What is he doing down there? I almost feel bad for Mevis. stuck on a winless team, playing for the Team Cuba. If he continues to be used incorrectly he may actually be forced to hold off on his hold out for a year.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Ha well to be fair, they were down three scores. If you’re still ‘trying to win the game’, kicking the FG wasn’t a bad idea. Schiano should’ve been fired before the season even started. There were already problems then. Don’t know what TB thinks it’s doing.

      • goodfold2 says:
        (link)

@Sky: that late penalty actually helped as TB was sacked, taking their total yards from 307 down to 297, and them going for it instead of kicking field goal kept them under 14 pts, both of which in my nfl.com league saved me a total of 4 pts that CAR def got (17 pts) instead of allowing 14 pts and at least 300 yards, which would’ve been -2 pts each.

nicks/white/martin (day of injury) for my

now he comes back with his james/white/nicks for my moreno/nelson. my roster
    rodgers
    charles/bush/moreno/bell/vereen (only start 2)
nelson/d-jax/dola/floyd/jennings/j.jones (.5 pt per 10 yard return yards PPR league, start 3 WR)
    bennett/bostick
and his roster is much worse, with

    ellington/forte/m.james/tate/d.thomas/mcgahee
white/j.jones (the injured for season one, even though he didn’t stash him on IR,but could’ve)/beasley/nicks/douglas/cooper
    gronk

this guy’s team appears to be a deeper league team (14 or so) instead of the 12 we play in. My thinking is the only person on his team i’m interested in at all is Gronk. what would be fair trade if any, my thinking is to try this
    1.gronk and m.james for my
    moreno/bennett
    or the more fair
    2. gronk/nicks/m.james
    for my moreno/bennett/nelson or d-jax.
He’d get upgrades at RB and WR and i’d get upgrade at TE and downgrading only my WR while moreno rode my bench anyway with bush (bell if he got hurt) and charles starting.

different league from above. PPR. After both reading about Tate likely done for year with 4 broken ribs and noticing A.brown (NYG) still out there (WHY?) I dropped tate for brown (bench RB, already have moreno/sproles/jacquizz/cj1/4 of 2K/miller/vereen, making this my 2nd league of 4 with both brown and vereen (already having vereen in 3/3 of PPR leagues).
1.rather have brown than any of
    law firm
    tate

    tolbert
    ogre
    greene?
    i’m thinking yes.

I tend to start Randle against a very soft PHI secondary over Douglas who will have to face Peterson, one of the better corners in the game. Do you agree?

now that i dropped martin and have only the 4th waiver claim (due to not reading RCL rules and those having “rolling all year lists” instead of “updates each week to standings”), i’m 1-6 already in 11th out of 12, but other than the 12th place guy (who deserves it) somebody who works around here (with much better record and who already beat me this year) will probably get martin off waivers on wednesday. Wish yahoo leagues had IR slots, as if it wasn’t for not having one and Dola maybe not playing (really looked like it earlier in week) I would NOT have dropped Martin anyway. If both vereen or brown (NYG) do better than Martin and return at around the same time (one of them) this won’t matter much. Now i’m actively rooting against martin being any good if he comes back before week 13 or so, or 3 people to not grab him ahead of me.

guy that keeps coming at me with terrible trades has gronk (only player on his team I have any interest in). my team is
    rodgers
    charles/bush/moreno/bell (DET)/vereen (only start 2)
    nelson/d-jax/dola/floyd/jennings/j.jones(bal, 1 pt per 10 return yards, start 3 WR)/crabtree
    bennett/bostick
    opp’s team is much weaker:
    stafford
    forte/ellington/james/tate/d.thomas/mcgahee
    douglas/white/j.jones(atl)/nicks/cooper/beasley
    gronk

are either of these fair? if so in 2. should i try nelson or d-jax first.
1.his gronk and james for my
    bennett and moreno

    2. his gronk/nicks/james
    for my
    bennett/moreno/d-jax or nelson

I’d only really be getting weaker at WR (for starting players) since moreno is on my bench anyway.

    • Sky

      Sky says:

He’s sending you terrible trades is probably a sign you’re not going to have a reasonable/good trade partner. First one is ok. Second one is terrible

      • goodfold2 says:
        (link)

@Sky: agreed on the likely problems trading with this guy, but he might be desparate at 2-5. His first trade idea was martin (day he could hurt)/white/nicks for my moreno/d-jax. I told him off in the nicest way possible (always best idea when nixing a trade). So in 2 i’d be giving up too much at WR and RB for the TE upgrade; ok as I only came up with 2 in case in 1 I wasn’t giving up enough. thanks.

seems nobody but you has bostick over quarless (usually quarless is quite low too) this week. Earlier I think i saw you say quar is the blocking TE and bostick is more talented at catching and could only play around 35-40% of snaps? Tehol actually likes quarless this week. If bostick goes off it may be your best call of the year (due to you being the only one saying it).

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Ha, nice. The Pack talked about putting him in on slot routes. It’s up to him to prove he’s better than Quarless but I believe he is.

miller was just dropped in a league with PPR and 1 pt per 10 return yards. no flex start 3 WR and 2 RB. these are my guys
    charles/bush/moreno//bell(DET)/vereen
    d-jax/nelson/dola/jennings/floyd/j.jones (BAL)
    bennett/bostick
Since I’m trying to both trade moreno/bennett for gronk/james, and also attempting to waiver Martin (but i’m a top 3 team with the correct waiver system of reseting each week to standings, as it should be, so i likely will not get him), should I drop J.jones(BAL) for miller, in case both miller becomes real starter again and i get james (but not martin) and martin becomes starter again in a few weeks?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

If you’re not starting Jacoby often if at all, I’d go after Miller there

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

@Sky: if that trade doesn’t get made AND bostick does nothing I can always grab jones again (or martin, if the 9-11 other guys ahead of me don’t waiver him)/or another backup TE to bennett with bostick’s spot.

  61. jason batteiger says:
    (link)

in a PPR with 1 pt per 10 return yards i’ve got
k.allen/jeffery/j.jones (BAL, great return yards floor per game)/sanders/gibson. in this league we only have to start 2 WR’s and i’m using gibson/sanders this week due to the other 3 having byes.
Just was able to waiver NE def. CAR and TEN are also available. I’m thinking of stashing 2 of these defenses, since TEN gets @STL and vs JAX the next 2 weeks. Week 10 i’ll have to reaquire H.Miller since Gronk will have a bye. I’m thinking of using the sanders/gibson spots for an extra defense, and in week 10 h.miller. which 2 of the defenses you like best out of
    NE/TEN/CAR?

    • Sky

Man I got hosed by the late Graham call. Hopefully Reed can pick it up for me.

Anyway, I have Stafford on BYE next week. My backup is Russell Wilson. Rivers is on waivers until Tuesday. Do I drop Wilson for Rivers? I’m #1 on waivers so he’s mine if I want him. I have no drop other than Wilson.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Experienced the same thing in one of my leagues w/Graham and Reed. Still think it was the right call. Hard to predict what a guy will do w/limited snaps in a given week.

I’d take Rivers there simply because the Chargers are a passing team. Wilson will have quiet weeks because they ‘don’t need im’.

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Sky: kind of what I was thinking. Then try to trade him after the BYE week since I ain’t gonna be sittin’ Stafford any week after his BYE.

  66. goodfold2 says:
    (link)

in that trade i’m trying to do with my moreno(not a starter on this team)/bennett for Opp’s gronk/james should james be changed to ellington or keep james in there? i also was able to grab miller last night. PPR league.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@goodfold2: I still don’t trust Arians after Mendy is back but who knows how long Doug is out. I’ll say Ellington there.

      • jason batteiger says:
        (link)

@Sky: same fear that has me rueing all of life in the league where i’ll lose yet again (and go 1-7) likely from the difference in tolbert pts vs ogre pts (10.7), AND dropped Martin (now hoping he doesn’t come back since someone else will get him); is having me worried about trading for james (even though it’s bench RB) in different league. Duke it is.

  67. goodfold2 says:
    (link)

i’m guessing after today all of us should jump ship from bostick and/or quarless to graham, for TE depth. I’m not sure about snaps, but bostick has zero targets. Good news is all of the other available TE’s near bostick in rankings eifert/ertz/cumberland/housler all got like 4.3 pts at most, so no big loss for this week.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Yup, it was a weak week at TE for sure, like I mentioned in the Dreessen blurb from today.
