2013 RCL FootballThe 2013 RCL season has come to its triumphant close.  What a year it’s been!  At one point I had an 8-0 team, no team got to 10-0, and the parity had the overall champion go down to the championship week.  Thanks again to everyone for joining this year, and we look forward to having you again for RCL Football in 2014!  You can check out the full interactive 2013 RCL Standings, fully updated with the final standings, in the tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you stacked up against your Razzball competitors in everyone’s attempt at RCL glory.

RCL Top Scorer2013 RCL CHAMPION: But it was no attempt for Gtoxitis, whom we all hail as RCL champion!  Gtox brought the smack and backed it up in The Shadynastys league, winning the championship by a mere 6 points after a 12-2 regular season.  The fantastic finish for Jamaal Charles led Gtox to RCL glory and the best team in the land.  I’ll contact you through your commenter e-mail for your prize and your name will forever be enshrined in the RCL mantle.  2013 – the year of Gtoxitis!

2013 RCL Football Razzball Nation!  The semis are in the books, and it all comes down to the championship.  Unless, of course, you lost by 10 in the Writer’s League because someone just happened to have Justin Tucker…  Bitter!  Public service announcement, the standings won’t be updated until the playoffs have completed, and the grand champion will be announced after Christmas, probably December 27.  Yes, even Razzball gets some Holiday time off!  You can still check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you stacked up against your Razzball competitors before the playoffs in your quest for an RCL title.

2013 RCL Football Another week of RCL action is in the books!  And whilst my teams fall apart faster than a Jenga tower at a vertigo clinic, the RCL title is wide open!  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: The talk of the Cowtown!  RCL top scorer this week went to the Cowtown Russellers, who racked up 207.16 points in the Bobby Boucher’s Water Bottle league as a statement win to close out their regular season heading into a #2 playoff seed.  Huge games from Josh Gordon, Jamaal Charles, Charles Clay, and the utter special teams beat down KC put up on the Washington football squad moved Cowtown to 10-4 and the most points in the league.  Cowtown will need to beat the Gridiron Gangastas to get into the league finals, while #1 seed Dougie Fresh’s Team is heading into the playoffs off a sub-100 point week and a loss.  They’ll need to turn it around against the D-Town Stompers to meet the winner of Cowtown and Gridiron.  Good luck in your semi round, and congrats again to Cowtown!

2013 RCL FootballOnly one week of regular season action is left!  That means two weeks, yes “TWO WEEKS!” (thanks Total Recall lady) and you’ll know who has made the finals.  Where did the season go?  Just flew right on by… Unfortunately for me, it’s looking like only the Writer’s League team will be a playoff contender and finish anywhere close to the top of the RCL table.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: A big “HIP HIP HOORAY!” for The White Broncos in the Razzball Rebels league who put up a whopping 217.42 points this week to crush the RCL field.  Led be a ridiculous Elway/Decker combo this week plus getting the big Alshon game put the Broncs on the mantle, etched in RCL stone for all eternity!  Nice work!  The big points has the Broncos a very good shot at making the playoffs despite being 5th in the standings right now, while another win for Poon Jab has them at 10-3 and leading the league.

2013 RCL FootballAnother week of RCL action has concluded, and I finally bought an RCL win!  Brutal stretches of 0-3 in the Writers League and my RCL league had me singin’ da blues, but my Writers League squad has me back on track, at least somewhere in life…  While I won’t be in the RCL crown contention, if I finish near the top of the overall standings with a squad, I’ll be content.  Satiated.  Appeased.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Well congratulations…  RCL’s version of the evil empire in Gtoxitis decided he wanted to get the top score this week, and lead my article and wrap-up to absolutely ruin my week.  You’ve ruined Thanksgiving!  I hope you’re proud… With 194.42 points led by Jamaal Charles and Flash Gordon, we must all hail Gtox our week 12 winner.  The win moves em to 10-2 and atop The Shadynastys looking like a lock for the #1 playoff spot.  In all seriousness, congrats to Gtox and their big win!

2013 RCL FootballUgh…  RCL needs a new definition.  “Ridiculously Callous Leagues”.  “Random Chance Leagues”.  “Really wanna Choke myself Leagues”.  My teams are tanking worse than M. Night Shyamalan’s directorial career.  My Writer’s League squad has dropped three straight, my RCL team which was decent is looking god awful; it’s just been a rough few weeks on virtually all my teams.  Stupid Nick’s 1-9 team starting Michael Floyd.  Fantasy football is all luck [drops mic].  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: May the world sing your praises, Puttin on the Fitz, for topping the RCL scoreboard in week 11 and becoming a legend amongst RCL teams.  Fitz stomped all over the Rancho Rajneesh league for 191.52 points led by Bobby Rainey in an astute gamble (started in only 3% of Yahoo leagues), LeSean McCoy and the huge Antonio Brown game.  Conrgats to the Fitz!  Unfortunately that only moves him to 6-5, while the two top RCL teams heading into week 11, Mega Gronk SMASH! and ReadOptionForDummies, both got wins moving to 10-1 and solidify top spots on the RCL leader board.

2013 RCL Football Welllllllll, my run at RCL glory took a horrible turn this week, as both my squads are looking terrible and suffered tough losses.  Why, A-Rod’s collarbone, WHY?!  And while my formerly undefeated team has now dropped two straight, at least no one is perfect as Yeshcheese fell this week as the last undefeated.  No 10-0 teams this year!  The parity is astounding.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Jack Full of Hate is full of fantasy points lately, posting 188.30 points and moving to 6-4 in JB’s Random Commenter League (my league duh!) and topping the RCLs in scoring.  How are you only 6-4 when you own the entire Broncos roster?  Big weeks from Peyton, Demaryius, and Riley, then 20-point games from Andre Johnson and T.Y. rounded out the winning week and got Jack top honors in a very down week of RCL scoring.  The Hannover Hotspurs eked out a win over The Green Bastards making a logjam at 7-3 for the top of the league standings, with RotoZak moving into first place in the league with his points.

2013 RCL Football Well… All good things come to an end.  And if you were cheering for me to lose, then shame on you!  Because I had a legit shot at an upset before Aaron Rodgers got hurt last night.  But alas I fall to 8-1 and shockingly 4 of the 5 8-0 teams suffered their first loss this week.  That means, yes, Yes, YES, YESCHEESE (!!! sorry, RCLgasm) is the last undefeated team in RCL land, and will be atop the standings at 9-0.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Tons of big scoring this week in the RCLs with more teams surpassing 200 than ever before, and topping all of those teams was the Naysayer’s in the Monday Morning QB’s league, dropping knowledge and 216.68 points all over the RCL stratosphere.  Riley Cooper and T.Y. Hilton led the charge at WR with Keenan Allen also in the mix, then big games from Jason Campbell filling in for Kaepernick on the bye and Stevan Ridley has the Naysayer’s immortalized in RCL glory.  Even with Knowshon Moreno on a bye too!  Naysayer’s is still climbing out of a hole at 4-5, while the very tough kitchen stinks barely edged out Stick’m by 4 points to move to 8-1 and near the top of the RCL standings.

2013 RCL FootballAnother week and another W!  OK, so I’m a lot less proud of my 8-0 team after beating Tehol’s God Forgives I Don’t team that had two guys left in on byes.  God remembers bye weeks, and you don’t Tehol!  Everyone publicly smite him.  Because not only did he forget to check that team, but now you have to deal with me raving on about an 8-0 team and another step closer to winning RCL!  Shameful one of the wins was by 4 against underwear-chicken man, but a win is a win.  Like the Seahawks on Monday Night.  Whether it be a blown call by replacement refs or that miserable showing last night against the Rams, wins be wins. All 4 other 7-0 teams also won this week, so none of the unbeatens have fallen.  You can check out the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: The top scorer through Sunday held out to be the top scorer this week – huge props to the Redeye Raiders for putting up a whopping 213 points this week in the Take On Jaywrong league.  Led by Megatron’s 50 and Brees’ 33, that 83 right there outscored a lot of RCL teams!  The win takes Redeye to 5-3 and third place in the league, taking down Dread Pirate Roberts who stays in second going from 6-1 to 6-2.  Climbing the rankings, Redeye!  But all roads lead to Yeshcheese and yet another win for one of the RCL’s elite undefeated teams.  Feels good up here, don’t it!  And wouldn’t you know it, Redeye after notching the highest RCL score will be playing Yeshcheese is a huge week 9 throwdown.  Congrats again to the Redeye Raiders!

2013 RCL FootballWhen the next meeting of the designers of those inspiration posters goes down, one of them will be forced to suggest a picture of my Writer’s League team when the word “Perfection” comes up.  Perfection is a tricky thing.  On one hand, I’m expected to win every week now, and on the other, screw it I’m 7-0 baby!  I don’t think I’ve ever had a 7-0 team in any competitive leagues in over 10 years of playing fantasy football, it’s a tough feat to accomplish.  The perfect record puts me in a class with only 4 other RCL teams which you can check out atop the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against your Razzball competitors in your journey to RCL glory.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: If you missed this week’s Pod, then you missed that Release the KRAKEN! from the Take On Jaywrong 2 league was the top scoring team through Sunday this week, and it held up through MNF to officially lead the RCL in scoring.  Kraken released!  With big weeks from VJax, Forte and Jacquizz, it was the big game from Jordan Reed as Kraken’s bye-week fill-in for Jimmy Graham that put him over the top with 195.56 points.  I’m pretty sure this was the first week no RCL team topped 200, but that diminishes nothing Kraken!  He moves to 6-1 and atop JayWrong’s second league and gets a very tough matchup against Fish’s Official Team in week 8 to try and keep the #1 spot.  Congrats again Kraken and keep Jay being Wrong!
