I’d call it the “Happy Holidays Live Thread”, but we’d all just be lying to ourselves. Yes, there’ll be plenty of food, and presents, and in-laws this weekend (as if Thanksgiving with baby boomers wasn’t exciting enough this year!), but let’s be clear… it’s not happy unless those of you still playing Fantasy Football bring home that Championship whatever. Could be a trophy. A certificate. A baked ham, who knows? Now, the real question is, did I bring up the ham because it actually exists as a prize for a league out there, or because I’m just hungry for ham? Why not both! Regardless, enjoy this year’s Festivus, I’m sure there are a lot of grievances to be aired, but let’s make sure none of them are about your Fantasy Football team by the end of the weekend. Good luck, and be jolly! (I’m not entirely sure why I went with jolly there…)

Your Week 16 Rankings have been updated and can be found after the jump!

Select the “Flex” tab if you need a more complete picture to decide your starts and sits. Use the “OP” tab for 2QB Leagues. And you can access our Half PPR and PPR rankings using the drop down box in the top left of our rankings when you select the RB, WR, TE, or Flex positions. Any and all questions will be answered below…

Jay i need an advice for today for my fantasy championship….i have one RB spot that i dont know who to put in?
    Justin forsett
    Dion lewis
    Jerick mckinnon
    Ronnie hilman

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jose: I think you have to go Forsett there. Good luck!

      • Jose says:
        (link)

The abscene of adrian peterson and the matchup of the chargers vs browns doesnt give you a second thought jay?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Jose: Wait, are we talking Hillman here or Mckinnon? I’ll be honest, I’m concerned with all of these choices, pretty tough position to be in. I like Forsett just because for Denver to win, they have to focus on the ground game.

          • Jose says:
            (link)

Yes iam talking about hillman and mckinnon….iam concern too about that situation…kansas city has a tough defense but maybe your right…the melvin gordon injury affected me badly

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Jose: oh totally, Gordon’s injury destroyed a lot of teams hopes. Just terrible timing.

  2. Kasmandia says:

Defending PPR Championship Here – Must sit one: Hilton, Montgomery, Ware, and “turf toe” Julio. Help me out!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Kasmandia: Julio makes this difficult, but I think Ty is the odd man out.

  3. James says:
    (link)

    PPR
    Need two flex
    Britt, Watkins, Yeldon, d.Washington
    Also,
    Bennett or Gresham?

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@James: Going Britt and Watkins plus Bennett.

  4. Ryan says:
    (link)

    Happy Holidays!

For PPR need to start 3 of these 5.

    Sanders
    Diggs
    Thielen
    Landry
    Watkins

Just don’t know who to trust any more haha. Finally gave up on Landry, and then he put up 2 good on my bench.

A sincere thanks for your help all year!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Ryan: Happy Holidays! Yeah, I don’t think we can trust anyone anymore the way this season went. I think you go Landry, Watkins, and Sanders there. Good luck!

  5. Picleballr says:
    (link)

    Hey! Questions.

My first championship! I need ole help.

    Derek Carr or flacco?

Pick 3- freeman, Powell, Elliot, rob Kelley

I’m starting the patriots defense so not sure if that makes a difference for you.

    Merry Chrismas!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Picleballr: Congrats on getting there! I’d go Carr, Freeman, Elliott, Kelley there. And thanks, you too!

  6. ThE sHiT says:
    (link)

In a PPR league for all the marbles, i need a WR and a flex out of Davante Adams, Rob Kelley, Robbie Anderson, Malcolm Mitchell, Ty Montgomery and Devontae Booker. Ty has WR/RB eligibility

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@ThE sHiT: I think you go Ty and Kelley there. Good luck!

  7. Allan says:
    (link)

    Jay,
Ty Montgomery or Mark Ingram at RB2 in a full ppr?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Allan: I think you go Ty there. The Saints don’t know how to use their running backs.

  8. Frank says:
    (link)

Have to go with 3 of the following: Julio, Jordy, Crabtree, Dez. Half PPR. Help!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank: Hmm, really tough here. I think Crabtree is the odd man out, but really close margins here.

  9. Btdrnks says:
    (link)

Hey man, looks like Miller is likely to sit and his 835 start is problematic..he is currently my flex and I’m starting d Johnson and Howard in my RB slots and Crabtree and Ty williams in my WR slots. My other flex options are Ingram, Dixon, Crowder and jeffery. Should I start one of those or should I grab Farrow, Lewis or lockett off of the FA bin???

    Also…start Titans or Bills??

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Btdrnks: I think you go Jeffrey there. Not trusting Ingram right now.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Btdrnks: And I think Titans there. Good luck! Happy Holidays!

  10. Old dirty says:
    (link)

Happy festivus… George costanza: marine biologist episode was on last night .

Who would you go with at flex? I need two. Yesterday you said Jeffrey and hill, but I saw Meredith (moved up) and hill( moved down) in your rankings.

    Ppr league
Jeffrey, diggs, d walker , Meredith, hill

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Old dirty: Haha, nice, missed that. Was watching Die Hard. Yeah, they went down a little in the rankings. I think those are still the two guys out of that group though.

  11. Bill says:
    (link)

Where does Blue go in the ranks with Miller sidelined?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bill: not as high as you think, I just dont think he helps if you have better options.

  12. Grinch says:
    (link)

    Howdy seasons greetings jay!

.5 ppr league late game tonight at RB2 I have Jeremy Hill who’s at Houston. On the flip my opponent has Lamar Miller I added blue to block my opponent since Blue & hill are the same game I can wait. But if Miller is indeed out would you still roll w/ hill or swap out hill for blue?

Thanks & merry Christmas &a happy festivis

    • Grinch says:
      (link)

      @Grinch:

Correction it’s official Miller is out

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Grinch: I’d still go Hill there. And thanks for the news on Miller, I’ll be updating rankings shortly. Happy Holidays!

      • Grinch says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Thanks man if you are a Seinfeld fan look up on YouTube “Kramer santa clause” funny stuff

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

          @Grinch: haha, yup, a classic.

  13. Btdrnks says:
    (link)

    J Hill or Farrow??

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Btdrnks: I think Hill there.

  14. Frank says:
    (link)

12 team full ppr w/ spec tm pts. Need 3 WRs. Here is how I have them ranked:

    Ty Will
    Tate
    Landry

    Gabriel
    Lockett
    JJ Nelson
    Meredith
    Watkins

Also – my RBs are Dv Johnson, Devonta.. and I have Kelley at the flex. Do I start any of the above WRs over Kelley at flex? I dont think so.. but want to know your take. Thanks.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank: Yeah, I like how you have them ranked. And I think you keep Kelley in the flex. Tempted with Gabriel, but not quite enough.

      • Frank says:
        (link)

        @Jay: thanks

One more for you… another finals team I have. Half ppr. Struggling between Bennett / Vernon at TE and Baldwin / Mitchell at one of my flexes.

Leaning Baldwin and Bennett. Thanks again.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Frank: Going Bennett and Baldwin there, just like you. Of course! What I’m here for.

        • Frank says:
          (link)

@Frank: and of course I forgot one lol… Carr or Jameis? Carr’s pinkie is a concern. Gotta think Jameis will be better than 2 wks ago vs NO in the dome/turf.

  15. Richard Bertman says:
    (link)

    Need 2:
    Tyreek hill
    Ty Montgomery
    Amari Cooper

    Championship Game

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Richard Bertman: I think Hill is the one who gets left out. Good luck!

      • Richard Bertman says:
        (link)

@Jay: That’s what I have set up. Thanks for the confirmation!

  16. Powerade says:
    (link)

Winston, Kapernick, Palmer dilemma again…..flacco available too

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Powerade: I think you go Winston there. Good luck!

  17. Matt says:
    (link)

Help. I’m in a strange CBS league where no one understands the rules. That said, I’ve been using Kap in my flex and he’s been great for the most part. After seeing what LA did with Wilson, I’m thinking of going either Cousins or Powell. Cousins sucked last week and NE can stop the run. Your thoughts?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Matt: I’d go Cousins there, I’m with you.

  18. Steve says:
    (link)

I’ve got to pick two between Dez, Edelman, Sgt Bilal Powell of the LAPD, and Jarvis Landry.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve: Hmm, going Dez and Edelman there.

  19. David Akana says:
    (link)

Need some advice with AJ green sitting. Need 3 WR and a flex spot:

    WR
    T. Gabriel
    A. Jeffrey
    M. Wallace
    C. Meredith
    T. Boyd
    D. Parker

    Flex
    One of this WR or….
    Dwyane Washington
    H. HenrY
    V. Davis
    A. Blur
    C. Clay

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

I think go Alshon, Gabriel, and Wallace.

      • David Akana says:
        (link)

        @Jay:
Thanks! What would you recommend for the flex spot?

          • David Akana says:
            (link)

            @Jay:
            Thanks, Happy Holidays!

  20. Eg says:
    (link)

Inman or McKinnon in last flex spot? Have Farrow in first flex spot, so don’t want to be over reliant on SD… Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      In that case, Mck.

  21. Bobbo says:
    (link)

Hey Jay, happy holidays! Need to start 2 rb 2 wr and 1 flex. 1ppr 1pt per 10 rush 1pt per 20 rec yards. Bonus at 100. Championship game!

    RB: McCoy, Powell, Latavius
WR: Julio, Dez, Crabtree, Michael Thomas, Larry Fitz

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bobbo: I think leave Fitz and Thomas off the table. Good luck!

      • Bobbo says:
        (link)

@Jay: latavius over Crabtree in the flex? Thanks a ton!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Bobbo: Not in that format, no.

  22. Aaron says:
    (link)

    Hey jay,

    Couple things i’m looking at:

    Wr: t. Hill, c. Beasley, t gabriel, or c. Meredith. Need 1.

    K: lambo or lutz

Also, any reticence of starting elliott monday with the chance of dal resting him? I grabbed dwayne washington of det just in case.

    Thanks.
    Aaron

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Aaron: Gabriel and Lambo I think.

  23. Daniel says:
    (link)

Cook or Clay at TE half ppr? And Farrow or Watkins at flex? Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      Going Cook and Watkins there.

  24. Bobby says:
    (link)

Hello jay .5 ppr thoughts on lafell? No green or eifert. Basically between manny sanders, Lockett or add + play lafell at flex

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bobby: I think Sanders and Lockett are still fine there.

      • Bobby says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Lockett is on the bench sanders at flex

My 3 WRs are Hopkins, Baldwin & dez

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Bobby: I’d keep Sanders in the flex then. Those WRs are fine.

  25. D says:
    (link)

Which 2 would you start? .5PPR league and 3 bonus points for going over 100yds Receiving or Rushing

    Martin @ NO
    Gore @ OAK
    Inman @CLE
    Rawls vs ARI.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @D: Inman and Martin.

  26. D says:
    (link)

Standards scoring . Kelley @ CHI or Powell @ NE. Who would you roll with?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @D: Going Kelley there.

  27. MiggyCat says:
    (link)

Do I bench Brady for Ryan due to the rain???

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@MiggyCat: If it’s heavy, I would, yes. Not near a television at the moment.

  28. Ciwa says:
    (link)

Miller probably out in my Championship game. Blue or Dixon as RB2?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Ciwa: Blue, but don’t expect much from either. Bummer to hear.

      • Ciwa says:
        (link)

@Jay: and my RB1 is forsett. I want to die.

  29. Johnc says:
    (link)

    Blue or Inman? Yikes

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Johnc: Inman.

      • Johnc says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

crazy happy that every close decision that I made was wrong but still won handily. Brown, Bell combo too much. I traded Gordon for Brown which turns out to be a clincher. Not sure it was the right move but it ended up well.
Note to self: Never play Chargers in cold weather!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Johnc: Great to hear man, congrats! Better note: Never play Chargers haha.

  30. Pete says:
    (link)

vernon davis is the safest play over hunter henry or charles clay you think?

    • Pete says:
      (link)

      @Pete: in PPR

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Pete: I do, yeah.

  31. Mobin Can't Hack It says:
    (link)

yeaaaaah. all that stuff mentioned about how “at least CIN didn’t troll us by being quite honest early” is out the window. if they were going to “force green to not play” then why the fuck:
did they let him spew that out all week himself that he was “playing” without contradicting it? they aren’t fooling other coaches with that crap, only us. they did rule eifert/burfict out so it’s not as if these things weren’t already decided. and i’d contend that if it WAS about fooling other coaches letting on that eifert was out (compared to their 2nd/3rd string TE’s) was giving up more info than green (vs lafell/boyd)

the only thing worse they could’ve done of course is not say anything till hour till when they need their inactive reports.

    • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
      (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: for anybody reading this, i wasn’t caught leaving green in anywhere, it’s not personally about me with the anger above.

      • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
        (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: unless of course we actually believe ownership waited till this morning to make this decision, that of course is possible, but not really believable either. much easier to believe CIN is trolling us than CIN’s ownership is trolling all the coaches/trainers/players (this isn’t the Rams here)

        • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
          (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: yikes, i have robby anderson in a LOT of leagues now. it’s showing in how much he isn’t doing vs all the people i could’ve played over him
ivory, garcon, lafell (that one comes later). petty is out and i’m in trouble in that regard, as anderson pretty sure’s best game with fitzmagic had something like 40 yards in it.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Well, it could be worse. As in, it could be Belichick.

      • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
        (link)

@Jay: yeah, he’d be worse, but at this point we’re aware of it with him. hey, yr SD boys better not F up and let CLE win, they appear to be attempting that.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

I wouldn’t be surprised, like, at all. Just the way the year has been I guess.

        • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
          (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: and it might’ve taken like 7 or so weeks, but man, us starting inman/t.will (and maybe both, like i am in a 14 teamer) keeping hope alive that they’ve both overtaken benjamin find ourselves with the sun setting on us.

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

Yeah, kinda weird how things turn out. Just a weird season in general.

            • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
              (link)

@Jay: and here we go with TB doing a 10 on the douchebag scale mentioned above, waiting till RIGHT before the TB game to just rule out the not injured martin. i don’t have him so again, it’s not small petty personal anger at work here. do have sims though in 3 spots (admittedly even had i KNOWN martin was out he’d probably only be in one of them)

              • Mobin Can't Hack It says:
                (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: inman i think has literally 8 of the 9 targets, so that earlier comment isn’t really true.

                • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
                  (link)

@Mobin Can’t Hack It: but rivers is also missing like 10 out of his last 13 or so passes.

  32. I don't want to brag but i have irritable bowel syndrome says:
    (link)

getting double trolled by bortles actually doing well, having started TEN D and been benching a-rob for like 2-3 weeks now (even though we have 2 flexes and 3 WR’s) in a standard league. i think it got the point where defenses forgot a-rob existed maybe.

  33. Not Your Average Joe says:
    (link)

Still ranking Rams over Texans DST even with the Bengals having Green out? (or maybe because of it since they may just run and run). Or is it more because, well, 49ers.

    • Not Your Average Joe says:
      (link)

@Not Your Average Joe: I’m mostly looking for dud-pocalypse prevention. Ertz already ert me.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Not Your Average Joe: I think if the rankings didn’t lock, I might have moved Tex up a little more, but I’m still liking that Titans matchup a little more.

      • Not Your Average Joe says:
        (link)

        @Jay: Titans?

  34. Tim says:
    (link)

    Good afternoon sir!

Wow this escalated quickly: Doug Martin healthy scratch!

Who is the add Sims or Jaquizz? & would you play either over Jeremy hill? Bucs get saints .5 ppr

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Tim: oh geez. Probably Quizz, but not over Hill.

      • Tim says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Oh yeah over hill is the only spot, my RB1 is David Johnson , crazy though unless something happened pre game

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Tim: yeah, this type 9f stuff is annoying.

  35. MiggyCat says:
    (link)

Actually hanging tough and staying in this game as a big underdog.

    .5 ppr

Moncrief or Eli Rogers late games? Last WR slot.

    • MiggyCat says:
      (link)

      @MiggyCat:

      Forsett or Blue too….

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @MiggyCat: goin Moncrief there.

  36. JJ what says:
    (link)

Standard. TE trouble. Gotta run out one of the following
Cj uzo, fiedo, griffin, Jesse James, Ebron (I’ve been bitten by him before. Reluctant to rely on him in that matchup)
I need points going against jordys big game play his other big points already.
I’m considering James because I have Big Ben and could get double points on a score, Cj/griff could split since griff looked ok last week.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@JJ what: yeah, I don’t like Ebron either, but I think he’s your best bet.

  37. Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
    (link)

i was about to hoot and hollar for happyness when i see that in my 20 teamer m.lee just threw a TD , except then i notice it was to my opp’s bortles, so even on that play i lose points. great. 30 point favorite down the toilet, at least that one is one of the free leagues. MF’ing bortles acting like it’s last year here, and theilen ain’t helping.

  38. Pacochu says:
    (link)

Rodgers is completely carrying me right now. J-Stew was useless as was Ty Montgomery. Tevin Coleman managed 19 points on m bench. My opponent had Shady and Blount. I need Bell to be huge tomorrow afternoon.

This team was an auto-draft in a 12 team league I didn’t know was restarting. I didn’t see the team at all until a week or so before the season started. I began the season 1-5, but ripped off seven straight wins to finish 8-6 in the last playoff spot. If I do win the championship, I just may retire from season-long leagues. :o)

Happy New Year to you and all Razz ball followers.

Hey jay! Happy holidays! .5 ppr league let me know what you think of my matchup I don’t have a good feeling about it

    I’m currently up 121-76

In the Sat night game right now I have Jeremy Hill & Hopkins. Sunday I have Emmanuel sanders. MNF I have Dez Bryant, Witten & IDP on the lions whitehead

My opponent has left Antonio brown, spencer ware, kelce, Chiefs D & Justin tucker. He has no one on MNF

What I don’t like it’s almost half time & hill & Hopkins have been non existent; Rex burkhead has been getting all of the work

However players on my roster who have already played:

QB: matt Ryan : 24 pts

    RB1: DJ: 36 pts
RB2: hill 1 point so far

WR1: Hopkins 0 points so far
    WR2: Baldwin 33.5 pts
    WR3 Dez MNF

    TE: Witten MNF

    Flex: sanders: SNF

    Kicker: janikowski 3 points

    D/St pats : 23.5 pts

    IPD: whitehead MNF

    — lol of course during the finals & when he’s on my bench Watkins decided to show up grr, well my opponent had a rob on his bench almost 22 pts

My opponent started Montgomery over a rob at WR slot , him & I both W/o our star RBs he without Miller & me without Gordon

Going to need all the good vibes to pull this out im scared of brown especially if Jimmy smith misses the game

Merry Christmas & hope you have a great holiday you deserve it

          @Buzz:

          lol that escalated quickly:

Kelce was the grinch that stole my fantasy trophy

          I’m down 172.5-129

I have sanders tonight who did nothing m

Then I have left Dez, Witten & IDP whitehead I’m toast right? Grr

man rankings had hopkins vs watkins wrong pretty much every week since watkins came back (not targeting you here, i’m talking even the top PPR guys at FP. whether that’s top 20 or 30. i do love being able to index those rankings by guys however i want, i do wish they had it set up to save that rather than have to do it every single time i look up any type of ranking every week though). i’m still large favorite in 2nd biggest money league with huge lead and my BAL kicker and bell vs opp’s roethlisberger/ware/s.smith though. in another my hill/r.anderson over s.smith/lafell is looking pretty bad, only good news is likely would’ve lost anyway.

-and what looked like savage over brock lobster for forseeable future got a lot more murky. hard to believe a guy who comes in midgame last week looking like he did looked this much like brock lobster after having full week of prep. maybe there’s some kind of QB kryptonite in water in HOU’s locker room for last 5 (it’s longer) years. and it’s gotten a LOT stronger as those previous to 2016 QB’s were all terrible and still hopkins was a top 5-type machine till now.

    • For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron says:
      (link)

@For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron: oh yeah, for anybody else reading this i didn’t mean to imply that jaywrong isn’t one of the top PPR guys this season, he’s actually 12th on season out of at least 130 or so guys (not every one of them has stuck around all year, esp the lower end ones)

      • Packers says:
        (link)

@For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron: Yep, I knew what you meant. It is one of the issues on players that no matter how much research we do we can’t project every player correctly. That’s why you play the game.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron: Oh yeah, I totally agree with you. It’s a pair that haven’t been confusing and frustrating all year. And it’s like oil and water in Houston with QBs and the team.

    • For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron says:
      (link)

@For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron: i didn’t mean it as a point of “man those rankings aren’t perfect all the time” yes i know that and you couldn’t expect that anyway, but that it’s been wrong each week on specifically watkins vs hopkins was the thing (since watkins came back i mean). most of the time rankings are much better than just flipping coins.

Merry Christmas! Was winning comfortably Baldwin and David Johnson went off last night, now I’m chasing 11.5 points….he has Matt prater and I have KC defense and either sanders vs KC or Tate vs dal. Who do you like more to get me a championship?

Tate tomorrow… or Dez or Beasley? Kelce tonight… or J. James this afternoon? I trail by 9 — so 5 pt floors key here. PPR. Dang playoff implications and week 16 unpredictables got me wondering if Beasley and James are the plays.

good night, i spend a lot of time in KC and when i’m there i always hear the locals mentioning during the last few years their “super bowl chances”. i’m always like yeah, but alex smith….. normally i’d say i have a good point, but with last year peyton being in a battle of worst QB’s ever to win a SB (along with dilfer) and with how good this KC offense looks in the first two drives of this game (F U DEN D) this might be for real. those first 2 drives looked like NE moving the ball. even more odd BOOKER looked great on 2 plays, where the hell was that for the last 10 or so weeks.

  47. Dorian S. says:
    (link)

    Merry Christmas Jay!

Got a heck of a deal from someone. The 1st Overall pick I won in consolation + WR Michael Thomas for LeVeon Bell + a player to be traded back to me (after keepers are locked) that is good keeper wise. So I’d get LeVeon Bell + an extra keeper.

I’ve got Mariota, Zeke, Evans, and Demaryius all locked up. If I traded away Michael, that would open up a keeper spot. I hadn’t really decided on a 6th yet. I’ve got Trevor Siemian, Mark Ingram, Sammy Watkins, Jordan Matthews, Dontrelle Inman, Tevin Coleman. I’m thinking if I get a keeper back is to go with LeVeon Bell and Sammy Watkins as my keepers, and against my better judgement, have him trade me back Trevor Siemian.

What do you think? I’m not exactly positive on it. I’m seeing if I can keep Michael though, I like him.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Dorian S.: Happy Holidays man! I think you have the right mindset there on Bell and Watkins.

      • Dorian S. says:
        (link)

@Jay: Since we’re past Christmas now, Happy Holidays!

Awesome to hear! Glad I wasn’t wrong with those thoughts. Was worried taking on Watkins would be a bad thing.

Also, got him to consider Siemian instead so I can keep Thomas, so I’m going to go with that. After last night’s game, I got no trust in Siemian. I’d rather just take my chances with only Mariota and hope that I can package the guys who I own rights to into an okay 2nd QB.

So I’ll end up with Mariota, Zeke, Bell, Evans, The Thomas Men and Sammy. :D Even if I don’t land a second QB, I will own next season!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Dorian S.: I still like Watkins, but just a rough year all around. I don’t have any trust in Siemian either.

          • Dorian S. says:
            (link)

@Jay: Yeah, after this game it was like “nope, not me”.

But it’ll give my trade partner something to work with. Now if I could just find someone to pawn off my rights to Ingram. Here’s hoping I can do that.

            • Dorian S. says:
              (link)

@Dorian S.: Oh and to add, I just managed to pawn off the rights to Ingram and Matthews with Demaryius Thomas (I had to give up someone, so I went for age) for Joe Flacco.

So now I’ll have Mariota, Flacco, Bell, Zeke, Evans, Watkins and thanks to the #1 pick trade, I’ll get Michael Thomas back in a trade after keepers are locked up. Because are allowed to do that within the rules.

The main offensive roster (without kicker) is QB/2RB/3WRTE/Flex, so I’ve now got all the positions covered for next season. Hahahah, I’ll so wreck everyone now!

Plus I’ve got a young roster in Mariota, Bell, Zeke, Watkins, Thomas and Evans. This is glorious!

              • Jay

                Jay says:
                (link)

                @Dorian S.: That’s a really nice core. I like that group a lot.

              (link)

@Dorian S.: Man, if he only gets away from the Saints… no clue what happened this season, but it was obviously something that fell apart behind the scenes.

              • Dorian S. says:
                (link)

@Jay: Yeah, Ingram ending up on the Saints was probably the worst thing for him career wise. Obviously something happened backstage because they haven’t used him well at all.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just that he wasn’t a great fit.

                • Jay

                  Jay says:
                  (link)

@Dorian S.: Maybe, Sean Payton confirms his douche factor of 10 every time he does something like this though.

                  • Dorian S. says:
                    (link)

@Jay: And I just might have done the impossible in landing Derek Carr while trading away some rights to players, pick swaps and Joe Flacco.

Meaning I could have Mariota, Carr, Bell, Zeke, Evans, Watkins, and M. Thomas. And I can only keep 6 after next season unless I continually buy someone’s keeper slot… I don’t think anyone would if I land Carr.

                    I’m insanely excited about this.

I’m down 46, I have Dez, Witten & IDP. That 30+ fantasy performance from kelce was insane , E sanders & Jeremy didn’t help my cause lol!

belichick and rex have some great quotes just lately, belichick’s standard “i don’t understand the question” and “i don’t know how many starters we have” just awesome. other coaches lie or obfuscate sort of, but with things that actually have truth conditions, belichick takes this stuff to another awesome level. rex finally, now that he’s completely done, took some credit for his team having 10 people on the field when ajayi won that game with a huge near 60 yard OT rush. he blamed everybody BUT himself back when he still could’ve saved his job (firing pretty much any coach that isn’t his brother, when his brother was the one F’ing up etc), NOW he takes a little bit.

All in all it was a fun season and want to thank you for all of your insight this year , hopefully one of these seasons I’ll be able to bring home that championship!

Since we have keepers I have a tough call; we can keep Max 2 guys ; one keeper def David Johnson, now do I keep another player or gain the extra draft pick?

Options are Melvin Gordon, Dez Bryant, Deandre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, matt Ryan, Dak Prescott and its .5 ppr
