As I alluded to earlier today in our Week 4 Rankings post…

“Now it’s time… we are in Week 4, and after this upcoming weekend, you should know what your team is about. What are its needs? The strengths? What’s your league look like? Any move(s) that you want to make needs to happen in the next two weeks, because even the teams at the bottom of the standings have a chance to turn it all around before then, they’re just looking for ways to do it. That should go for the teams up top and in the middle too. Start looking at your schedule (both in real football and fantasy), take note of byes, see what kind of matchups you’ll have… Basically, start setting up yourself to be the most informed fantasy football player the next two weeks and take advantage of it, because once we get to the end of October, only the top-third of you will still be around.”

With that said, here are your Rest of Season Rankings…

Note: These rankings will be updated on a week-to-week basis from this point forward, and can be accessed in our “Rankings” section of the menu above at any time.

Select the “Flex” tab if you need a more complete picture to decide your starts and sits. Use the “OP” tab for 2QB Leagues. And you can access our Half PPR and PPR rankings using the drop down box in the top left of our rankings when you select the RB, WR, TE, or Flex positions. Any and all questions will be answered below…

  1. William Hung says:
    (link)

Take this to the bank: Victor Cruz will be more valuable in 1/2 PPR leagues Markus Wheaton and maybe Sanu

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: I could see both, sure. I actually think he’s a lot like Sanu.

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: Another easy prediction: Crowder > Will Fuller

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@William Hung: Eh, that one should be interesting to watch.

  2. Will says:
    (link)

Would you trade Ezekiel Elliot for Gronk? I can also try to get a guy like Crowell or Cruz thrown in there too along with the Gronkster. My lineup currently looks like this

    QB — Palmer, Carr
RB — Zeke, Forte, McKinnon, Rawls, Coleman, Henry
WR — ARob, Amari, Diggs, Demaryius, Pryor
    TE — Dwayne Allen
    D/ST — Ari
    K – Catanzaro

    Thanks!

    • Will says:
      (link)

Update: Guy said he’d trade Gronk and Gore for Zeke

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

        @Will: That’s a bit better. I don’t know man, I don’t think you need Gronk though, that’s the thing.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Will: I’d feel uncomfortable with that trade based on your team. I’d rather hold onto Zeke there.

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: Having your RBs anchored by 30+ year olds won’t hurt here cause of Coleman and Henry… though you are speculating hard that Henry will return solid value by the time the inevitable breakdown of Gore and/or Forte begin at midseason. With the way Demarco Murray is running, that might not happen…

      • Will says:
        (link)

forgot to mention that it’s a 0.5 ppr league, not sure if that helps

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Will: It’s something to think about, but I’m sorta against taking away from your RBs for a TE here.

  3. Big league choo says:
    (link)

12 team ppr league which side

    Tate/Delanie walker or cooks/Julius Thomas

Wr Cooks, Cooper, Watkins, Decker, John Brown, Fuller

    We start 3 wrs

  4. Zandy says:
    (link)

I need advice……….. i screwed myself with trades it seems given jGordon news FML
    Team in Std
    Bortles
    Hopkins Floyd
    Gurley Ingram
    Ware
    Kelce
Bench: jCharles, Jennings, jGordon (fml), Dalton, jGraham, dSproles, Asiata, Drake

What would you try to move for a WR improvement on Floyd? or just hold until jennings is back and then deal him?
Would you use 3 waiver on Markus Wheaton?

    • Zandy says:
      (link)

is it worth trading down ie 1 for 2 on hopkins, gurley…. etc

what are the ideas or strategies that stick out to you?

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Zandy: I’m not sure I understand. Like, trading picks?

        • Zandy says:
          (link)

@Jay: I mean like trading Hopkins for Evans and Tyrell or something like that
A stud for a lesser guy and a piece

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

@Zandy: Oh, in that example, yeah, if you need that extra piece, I like the Evans side slightly. Otherwise, I’m always trying to condense talent when I can.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Yeah, while it wasn’t a surprise, it’s still pretty stunning. I think I would hold right now until Jennings… not terribly high on Wheaton, and I think your WRs are okay with Floyd. Honestly, they might have been even on production if Gordon didn’t ef up again.

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Jay: I think I may be able to send Jennings for cooks and Tyrell. Is that a good move? What about subbing cooks and Cobb?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Zandy: Yeah, I like that deal a lot. You’re getting Cooks and Tyrell? Totally.

  5. Zandy says:
    (link)

Also, from your ROS rankings who are the biggest upside WRs if I were to target a couple?

    Thanks man!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: I’d say Crowder, Tyrell, and I’m kinda digging Humphries.

  6. Big league choo says:
    (link)

    10 team standard

    A brown/sims or beckham/forte

      • Big league choo says:
        (link)

@Jay: I already accreted…sims might not have a job soon, only thing that worries me about beckham is Shepard and cruz

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Big league choo: Yeah, it’s super close, coinflip honestly, so it’s all good.

  7. Roger klutz says:
    (link)

    Hey jay! .5 ppr league

My RBs & WRs are below:

RBs: Davis Johnson, Melvin Gordon, Hyde, Derrick Henry,Dwayne Washington, Jordan Howard.

WRs: hopkins, fuller, sharpe, Shepard, hogan
IR: we have two IR slots: Moncrief & Watkins are there

    We start 3 WRs, we start 2 RBs , there’s a flex (WR/RB/TE)

Look to trade my Hyde for either one of Cooks, Larry Fitzgerald or Doug Baldwin?

Or trade my Hyde + fuller for LAT Murray + Pryor?

Would you try Hyde for Cobb? I know I can’t use him this week due to bye though, thoughts on Cobb I know he’s struggled so far, but would you like him as a WR2

Lastly what about Hyde for maclin? Would I need to throw in let’s say sharpe or fuller for it to be fair?

    Or wait it out?

    Gracias man!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Roger klutz: Yeah, Hyde for Cooks makes a lot of sense here, but the depth seems really good too. Hyde for Cobb, I think you’re giving up too much there. I also think you’re overpaying already on Maclin.

  8. William Hung says:
    (link)

I have AJ Green and my opponent this week has Bengals D and Jeremy Hill… time to hope for Dalton to air it out and for the Dolphins to somehow stop the ground game and score a ton of points…

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: I’m sure there will be a lot of airing out tonight.

  9. I don't want to brag but i have irritable bowel syndrome says:
    (link)

deep rosters (only start 1 QB) have stafford/cousins/fitzmagic. drop fitz for semian? stafford’s bye week semain is @ NO. cousins is vs MIN that week (MUCH worse). 12 teamer.

  10. John says:
    (link)

    qb- Bortles
    rb- David Johnson
    rb- Le’veon
    wr- Evans
    wr- Larry Fitz
    te- Coby fleener
    flex- mckinnon

    Bench- randall cobb
    bench- D. Henry
    bench- T. Brady
    bench- Ertz
    bench- Tyrell Williams
    bench- J. Stew
    bench- Jamison Crowder

I’m really having a tough time with this one, got offered
    Hopkins
    CJ Anderson
    Kelvin Benjamin
    for
    le’veon
    mckinnon
    Larry Fitz
    Standard scoring.
Should I do it and if not, would there be any tweaks that I could make to make it better? Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@John: You have a really strong team. Not sure what the reasoning is here. Not saying what you’re doing is bad, just that I’m looking at your team, and the only thing you need is a QB, and Brady is almost back. I’m assuming you are 2-1 right now?

      • John says:
        (link)

@Jay: I’m 1-2, that’s what I was thinking about this. I didn’t go after the deal, I got offered. I was thinking about it because it’s intriguing and I’d like to get a better flex. The only other thing is that I’m nervous that Fitzgerald might fade as the season goes on.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@John: Okay okay, yeah, I hear ya. I think Fitz will be okay… I just think people forget what Bell can do for people since he hasn’t started yet. Where ever I have Bell, I’m holding since I’ve waited this long to begin with. If you still want to trade, it is a fair deal and you make a good point there with the flex.

          • John says:
            (link)

@Jay: Yeah I got you. Thanks

  11. The imp says:

Qbs not showing for me. Anybody else?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@The imp: I have QBs on my laptop and phone. Maybe a cookie thing?

      • The imp says:
        (link)

        @Jay: there now…SMH

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@The imp: Yeah, no clue, as long as it’s working though

  12. Dan says:
    (link)

Who wins this trade? 0.5 ppr

Amari Cooper and Carr for Jamaal Charles

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      Leaning Charles there.

  13. Don Majikowski says:
    (link)

If this is your team, do you trade Demarco for BMarsh?? PPR
I am hesitant to trade away RB depth, but we do have Tevin Coleman to slide in as our #3 back (back-up)

    QB Carr (Will be Brady)
    RB D Johnson
    RB Hyde
RB/WR DeMarco (Marshall would slot in here)
    WR Alshon
    WR Cobb
    WR/TE Dorsett
    TE Martellus

    Bench
Josh Gordon (WTF, couldn’t have went to rehab a month ago?)
    Corey Coleman
    Tevin Coleman
    Forsett
    Chris Johnson

Also, do you think Martellus will become more of a force when Brady is back? I do

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Don Majikowski: Yeah, I think this is a good trade regardless. Trading depth sucks, but Marshall can be flexed in right away it looks like.

  14. Brian says:
    (link)

Got a flex issue in a deep league. I was going to flex Dorset but it appears that he twisted his foot in practice now and is highly questionable. I have to find a flex out of Thomas from Saints or Garcon I feel like Thomas if Snead sits if not I think Garcon just because he seems a little safer or I can put the Chargers TE there if that makes sense. I normally dont like using TE in my flex just because they seem difficult to predict. TY TY

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brian: Yeah, if Snead sits, then Thomas is probably the guy. Hunter is okay, but not your best option, I agree.

  15. Brian says:
    (link)

Also is Moncreif droppable I’m deep at wr but could use the spot for other positions ?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brian: I’d say hold if you can, but if there’s something more useful, I’m okay with it.

  16. David says:
    (link)

    PPR 10-team keeper league + FAAB. 2 QB’s & all TD’s are 6 pts btw. Week 4 lineup:
    QB’s – Cam, Ben
    RB’s – Elliott, Forsett
    WR’s – Julio, Cooper, Demaryius,
    TE – Barnidge
    Flex – Kelvin Ben, Shepard
Bench – Langford, Morris, Perkins, Powell, Rainey, Smallwood, Rudolph
    Practice – Wentz

Obviously my biggest immediate concern is RB’s and my team will blow up to any injuries because of my lack of depth. Also my lack of depth. I just picked up Forsett, Smallwood, Rainey off waivers this week. I’m hoping to catch a starting role. Plan A is to roll with this lineup (its still pretty solid). My backup plan would be to trade my stars for the needed depth given an injury. I should be able to win with Forsett or even Powell as my #2 RB.

Just curious how you would go about your business. Just received an offer of Lacy & Pitta for Elliott which is not ideal. Have another owner who has Bernard, Ivory, Murray, Sims, Ware on the block looking for WR’s. That owner also has Coleman/Freeman (not on block though), he’s very deep at RB.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@David: Yeah, I hate that Lacy deal for you. Maybe even go smaller, like trade Rudolph and Wentz for a Sims like player. Maybe consolidate your depth.

  17. Brian says:
    (link)

I think it’s about time to part ways with Watkins I believe it is highly unlikely he has any value at all this year. This guy had all of off season to get right and wasn’t able I’m going to go ahead and place him in Josh Gordons boat and let them both float away. In your opinion how long should people wait on this guy ?

    Thanks

  18. Brian says:
    (link)

Easy choice bills decided to put the bum on IR I’ll never draft him again one of those talented but weak players that are always hurt Harvin was the same guy great talent but poor endurance and health.

  19. TTRA1N says:
    (link)

You still like Nuke to finish top 10? With only getting half the targets as last year and Brock looking like a bum? I was thinking of buying low but idk if it’s worth it. Looking like more of a WR2 than WR 1. Thoughts?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@TTRA1N: Yeah, I’m still buying or holding. I’m thinking the Colts game could be an indicator of a trendline, a good one hopefully.

      • TTRA1N says:
        (link)

@Jay: Also why do you have D.Mart at 25? Concerns?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@TTRA1N: I’ll move him up as soon as we see him return. That just takes into the fact that he’s still out and I haven’t seen him yet. No concerns besides the normal ones.

          • TTRA1N says:
            (link)

@Jay: On that note. Wold you trade Coates for D.Mart in 12tm PPR?
