Since we used all of our creative juices titling last week’s Razzcast as our “Super Bowl Episode”, it would seem apt that we would double-down on said creativeness (art me!) by making this the official “Post Super Bowl Episode”. We rock, we know… MB, Zach, and Tehol join me in discussing our own Super Bowl experiences, and make sure to separate the line between the Patriots and Patriot fandom. Let’s just say it’s a big bold line that seems to not meet all that much. That is to say, we praise the team while condemning a majority of the fanbase. I call that being a philanthropist, but whatever. Enjoy!

pete carroll’s “lack of bad decisions”, well here’s some
    1. SB goal line call that is worst call in SB history, of at least last 30 years
    2. just now he for NO REASON out of nowhere throws away a 2nd round pick for just telling everybody that he played sherman hurt for well over a month (when you could’ve easily just keep not mentioning it), he negative freerolled his team likely from having no idea of NFL rules.

and while usually i would agree that no matter how bad carroll is at gametime decisions, he is good at roster construction stuff, except
    3. when your o-line is that weak you still draft mr.slightly-better- than-t.austin t.lockett as your first pick.

and as far as your agreement that it makes sense that fans in ATL didn’t show up for years to falcons games when they weren’t good. in STL, the rams had a 94-96% seat sold arena even though they set records for being worst team for i think a 10 year period yet you’ve floated out there that PR b.s. line of kroenke/jerry jones that STL is a “baseball city”. as far as TV viewership both STL and 2nd KC (so MO in general) are big time baseball cities but this didn’t prevent them from being no worse than 26th in buying seats to a team even when it was very very bad for a very very long time. hell the TV viewership for THIS year was better in STL than LA for the Rams.

@For an Armenianless vacation come to Akron: These are all great points, something that I miss generally sometimes because of having such a terrible memory. And on the Rams, yeah, these are again great points. There was a fracture point though, and I think that’s what I was trying to refer to. The in-depth info you added here though is fantastic. Thanks man!

that tehol interview with roddy/MJD was the best interview i’ve ever seen in sports (not counting ali ones). roddy was clearly just then being completely overtaken by julio and he really didn’t like being confused with him, probably took it as not only him being disrespected as a player, but probably assumed tehol just thought all black guys looked the same.

@Mantis Toboggan MD: Haha, that shit still cracks me up to this day. I’m sure that was it, he just has to be pc about it…

Tehol says you call me out for not being from Boston? Then where am I from?

@Ralph Lifshitz: I dunno. I usually like to read or hear what was said contextually before making assumptions. In this case, since I wouldn’t want to burden you, we clarified that you live in the suburbs on the show.

@Jay: Why do you have to clarify where I live? Are you no longer a San Diego fan because you live in DC?

@Ralph Lifshitz: Who made you clarify? We did the clarification. You literally needed zero effort to clarify yo.

I have no clue what the Chargers have to do about anything.

@Jay: Read what I wrote. Why do YOU have to clarify. I’m not sure what Boston vs the Suburbs matters?

I knew what you meant with the darkie comment, but I’m not an Irish lunkhead from Southie so I don’t talk or think that way.

@Jay: Not anyone I knowingly associate with. A lot of that was the former generation in those cultural neighborhood alcoves. Now all those neighborhoods have long been gentrified.
