It only makes sense because Ursa Minor is in the World Series, you know, which is still going on. Because Bears-Cubs? Look guys, it’s Halloween and I’m tired and I’m staring at an unopened bag of Twix bars. This was never going to end well. And the same could be said for the Vikings, falling for the dreaded trap game, in prime time no less. A place that the Bears have been located for reasons unknown. And they currently have been in more prime time games than the Chiefs, Raiders, and Falcons, where you’d think the Bears would do what they do best, and that’s suffer in anonymity like the Titans do. So while it was a surprising win, I do understand why they put this game on for Halloween: It was still some horrifying football to watch. I told you, I have a plethora of Twix, the Cubs are in the World Series, Donald Trump is running for President, and the Bears are won a home game at night. We are definitely through the looking glass, and we need to get this over with as soon as possible…
Jay Cutler – 20/31, 252 YDS, 8.1 AVG, 1 TD, 100.5 RTG and 1 CAR, 2 YDS, 2.0 AVG, 2 LONG. Jay Cutler AKA THE COORDINATOR KILLER always feels a bit taken granted of by Chicago, and is quite possibly on course to leaving town and finding more success elsewhere. And for all the hate Cutler gets, even they’ll admit he’s got a great arm. When you think about it, probably too good, since he makes stupid-a*s throws that 95% of quarterbacks wouldn’t even try…
Jordan Howard – 26 CAR, 153 YDS, 5.9 AVG, 1 TD, 69 LONG and 4 REC, 49 YDS, 12.3 AVG, 34 LONG, 4 TGTS. Has nobody seriously tried running right down the Vikings’ gullet? Was that really one of the league’s top defenses? I’m not really sure what happened there, but Jeremy Langford (1 REC 11 YDS, 11.0 AVG, 11 LONG, 1 TGTS), owners certainly didn’t like it. We’ll know more next week, since his snap count will grow and there are times when Howard simply isn’t a factor, but it’s looking like it’s Howard’s job to lose.
Matt Asiata – 14 CAR, 42 YDS, 3.0 AVG, 7 LONG and 2 REC, 36 YDS, 18.0 AVG, 31 LONG, 5 TGTS. Normally you’d think a ground war with Asiata would be a grave mistake.
