Alright, Razzball Nation, help me follow the bouncing logic ball.  Knowshon Moreno goes from virtually ignored before his first start of the season week 12, to casual low RB2 call in week 13 and 14.  Then when given a plum matchup vs the Raiders, he finally delivers to the tune of a top 5 fantasy finish for RBs.  So what kind of love does Moreno get this week against a Ravens defense gave up 186 rushing yards to the Redskins last week?  Kick him up to a 14th consensus rank at RB but I say that’s not enough.  Sometimes a great Knowshon happens and this week I think it strikes again.  Over the three games Moreno has started his worst yards from scrimmage output was 83 against a tough rushing defense in Tampa Bay and for PPR enthusiasts he has caught exactly 4 passes in each of his starts.  So in a game against a Ravens defense in the bottom 10 in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, let’s just say the floor has been set high enough that we should be looking at his ceiling instead.  Outside of Knowshon, I’m with JB this week on the podcast in a love of Josh Gordon as I set him up as a low-end WR1 in standard and a high end WR2 in PPR leagues.  If you’re wondering why, go ask Anquan Boldin owners how much they liked him playing against the Redskins last week.  In other controversial plays, I actually ranked Joique Bell ahead of Mikel LeShoure.  Blame it on the touches in week 14 – 17 for Bell vs 12 for LeShoure – or blame it on the fact that Robert Turbin had over 100 yards rushing after the Seahawks sent the Cards into therapy by the 3rd quarter of the game last week.  Lions aren’t as good of a team as Seattle but you don’t have to be to run it up against John Skelton.  I also gave you all an added bonus of ranking 20 TE rather than 15 this week because there are truly some great sleeper plays on the week and I’d feel bad if you didn’t see them all with your very eyes.  Obviously, this was merely a ploy to get Tony Moeaki on there.  So with all that out of the way, let’s take a look at the weekly rankings for week 15 of the 2012 fantasy football season…

Vernon Davis ranked 1st in PPR formats??!!?? I hope you’re right, but I haven’t had a good feeling about him since his first goose egg.

Who do you like better in a PPR format this week, Bryce Brown or Mike Williams? I see you give Mike Williams a pretty big boost vs. NO, but is it worth sitting Brown for?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Oy…something went strange with the TE ranks. I had moved him but apparently it didn’t take. It’ll take a bit for the site to update but I have Vernon around 10th. He’s not a safe play, obviously, but the matchup is nice.

When it’s close, I always lean RB. More touches = more opportunity. Main concern is Thursday night games the offenses tend to suffer. Brown has the higher floor for the week/Williams has the higher ceiling.

  2. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

Dammit Sky, just when I thought I had my lineup set, you go and throw a wrench into the rankings.

How much do you really trust Freeman this week? I’ve got Ice and him, and I’m just not sure I can pull the trigger on the gamble during the Playoffs, but it could be the difference – especially since my opponent has Brees.

Also, you’re for sure playing Gordon over Nicks? I have Gordon, Garcon, and Nicks vying for three spots.

And would you play J.Bell over Gordon or Garcon in a flex spot?

It’s a 0.5 PPR with bonuses at 85 yards receiving and 100 yards rushing (3 points); 135 yards receiving and 150 yards rushing (6 points).

If I win this, I guarantee myself at least $100…so no pressure.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

You know I do it just to mess with you.

I’ll put it to you this way, over the last 4 weeks Freeman the 11th best QB and he’s faced 3 tough secondaries (DEN/ATL/CAR). Meanwhile, Ryan has been the 21st best having faced two cream puff matchups in TB & NO. I could see that TB game being a shootout. Both teams are playing for something – TBs thin playoff hopes and NOs pride. Freeman isn’t without his flaws but he’s still outperforming Ryan right now and has the better matchup.

All I can say about Gordon over Nicks is Anquan Boldin. Considering Gordon had 86 yards on 8 receptions last week and how bad the ‘skins secondary is, I’d have to go Gordon.

That’s a flow of game question, RE: Bell. I’d lean Bell because I think there’ll be lots of junk time. I’m not picturing what Seattle did but Lions should be grinding the clock out to put the Cards out of their misery and Bell have more touches than LeShoure last week. I wouldn’t start him over Gordon but I could see it over Garcon. The line is pretty thin seeing as what I say about game flow being a large part of my rankings/call on Bell.

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Sky: I think I’m gonna gamble with you here. Freeman is in. I subbed Gordon in for Nicks. Now to flip a coin and play either Bell or Garcon…

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Sky: and does Dez playing change your mind at all?

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

@Wilsonian: I knew he was playing. He’s a WR3 this week for me. Hard to catch things with fractured fingers, let alone pass block. I think his upside is limited against PIT in the first place, the injury doesn’t help.

  3. TRON says:
    (link)

    SKY-
Ballard @ Houston or Dwyer @ Dallas? .5 ppr

You’d play Mike Williams over Garcon, Torry Smith and Alexander?

    Thanks in advance

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Dwyer but I don’t have a huge preference either way.

I worry how much RG3’s knee will dictate game flow. Garcon might be used in a lot of short routes/screen passes and never have a chance for a big day. Torrey Smith just dropped a 1 rec, 26 yard game against one of the worst secondaries in the league. Can’t see him outperforming Williams when he’s now facing one of the best. Carolina actually doesn’t give up very many fantasy points to opposing WRs. In the end, Garcon/Williams/Alexander are WR2 plays on the week, just think Williams has the better set up.

  4. Plainview says:
    (link)

I need to start 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1 Flex (RB/WR) out of this group:
    Lynch
    DMC
    Bilal Powell
    Mikel Leshoure
    Montell Owens
    Turbin
    Cruz
    Torrey Smith
    Golden Tate
    Avery
You saved me from myself last week by suggesting Owens as the Flex so I’m in your hands – I’m leaning Lynch, DMC, Cruz, Smith and Leshoure but could see using Powell or Owens at Flex. Also, not very comfortable with Smith but not many options. Let me know what you think – thanks.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

If Sidney Rice doesn’t play this week – he’s in a walking boot – giving Golden Tate a shot would be a good idea. I have Rice 24th in standard and Smith lower than that. I’d have Golden as a WR2 in that situation. If not, going with Smith makes sense.

I’d prefer Powell over LeShoure. No one is going to run away in that game and I think he and Greene get a chance to replicate their week 14 performances. Owens was a matchup play, don’t think the opportunity is there this week.

      • Plainview says:
        (link)

@Sky: Does Powell’s toe injury change your position ?

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

@Plainview: Yeah, I could see that. Greene might garner more carries than I expected him to. Probably moves Powell back down to an RB3 where LeShoure is. I’d still prefer Powell, though, because I’m stubborn like that.

  5. southwick says:
    (link)

the Vernon Davis ranking confuses me!

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Me too…namely because I moved him and it obviously didn’t take! I’m re-upping them as we speak.

  6. Van Mang says:
    (link)

I’m thinking about playing Decker and D. Thomas this week over Nicks. I feel like its a safer play wither lower upside. What say you?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Would rather go DT & Nicks. Hakeem isn’t 100% in my circle of trust but neither is Decker right now.

  7. Mike says:
    (link)

Definitely overthinking this, but who’s the odd man out of this group? Spiller, R. Bush, J. Charles & Welker, D. Thomas, B. Marshall (also have Crabtree but that’s a reach). Right now I have Bush hitting the pine.
Also, Steelers or Packers D for matchup play?
    Thanks!

    • Mike says:
      (link)

@Mike: This is a PPR league

      • Sky

        Sky says:
        (link)

@Mike: Bush is the odd man out there.

Not the perfect set up, but with Matthews back, I like the Pack there.

  8. Salty Balty says:
    (link)

Who do I start at flex this week for the semifinals: (1) Ryan Mathews; (2) David Wilson (assuming Bradshaw doesn’t play); or (3) Denario Alexander? Non-ppr.

Thanks for all the great advice this season!

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Salty Balty: Ooph…normally I’d want the RB but I’d switch your 1 & 3 there. Mathews has done nothing to gain trust. if Bradshaw is out, I’d take Wilson, though, in either circumstance.

  9. Plainview says:
    (link)

One more – in a PPR league, can start RB/WR/TE at Flex. Need 2 RBs, 2 WRs and a Flex :
    Doug Martin
    Alfred Morris
    DMC
    Julio Jones
    Welker
    Danario Alexander
    Jimmy Graham

    Who would you start?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

That’s a really tough call. DX is the odd man out for me there as much as I’d hate to do it. Could see sitting Welker for him but I like all three RBs as your starters.

      • Plainview says:
        (link)

        @Sky: Sit Graham too?

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

@Plainview: Somehow read that you can start a TE in that mix. Weird…anyways, Morris hits the pine for the PPR factor and sub in Graham…as much as it pains me to type that. Egads, man, tell your league to add a TE!

  10. Murph says:
    (link)

    Weekly league question

I’ve been having success investing heavily in RBs over the last few weeks Lynch/Peterson/Rice but this particular site is PPR (2 QB 2RB 2WR 1TE and 2
Flex) I think I can get away with saving money at QB with Luck,Weeden, or Schaub but am kind of stuck with the other positions, would you rather go running back for touches or WRs for higher upside or spend the money on QBs? No too familiar with 2 QB or PPR formats.

Currently: Martin, Charles, Forte, CJ2K with Gordon and Hilton Luck and Weeden and Bennett at TE

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

PPR when it comes to WRs rarely plays a huge role in my view. Unless you’re getting 10 rec in the game, I’d rather take the back with 18 carries and 3 to 5 catches for a bigger shot at yards/touchdowns. I think your strategy makes sense as long as you avoid the high end non-PPR backs like Morris.

      • Murph says:
        (link)

        @Sky:

Thanks for the reassurance im all about running backs in standard just didn’t know how it translated to PPR. I think my first 5 picks this year were backs in every league.

Ready for the Bryce Brown show tonight?!

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

Oh I’m ready for it alright! Will be interesting to see what he does tonight. I think it’ll determine whether or not we see McCoy in a starter’s role again this year. I think Cincy’s DEF is going to look really good tonight.

  11. BrewFreeOrDie says:
    (link)

    Skies Above,

Good stuff as always. I loved seeing the +21 on Cecil Shorts – no matter how many times he does it ECR shows no love for him. Though he is a tad concussed. Here’s my team for the playoff week (with bench players), I’ll also throw in some WW options. Though I tend to waver on waivers. I’ve already inflicted self punishment for that joke. Here goes:

QB: Matt Ryan (WW Options: Jay Cutler vs GB, Brandon Weeden vs WAS)
    RB: Ray Rice
    RB: Bryce Brown
    WR: Demaryius Thomas
    WR: Andre Johnson
    WR: Danario Alexander
    TE: Dennis Pitta
K: Dan Bailey (WW Options: Matt Prater vs BAL, Shayne Graham vs IND)
D/ST: Chicago (WW Option: MIA vs JAC)

    BE: LeSean McCoy
    BE: Miles Austin
    BE: Brandon Meyers
    BE: Daniel Thomas
    BE: Bilal Powell
    BE: Brandon Gibson

    What say you, knave?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

ECR is concussed regarding Cecil. Every week he makes them eat his Shorts.

That pun really did have to hurt but no worse than the ones I started this out with. I don’t see you making any changes to that lineup, your Heiness.

  12. eltoo says:
    (link)

PPR league, based upon your rankings my starting line-up/bench would look like this:
    QB – Freeman
    RB – Rice
    RB – LeShoure
    WR – Nicks
    WR – Garcon
    Flex – Shorts
    Flex – A Brown

    BN – Ryan
    BN – LLoyd
    BN – Amendola
    BN – Reece
    BN – D Thomas

Does that look right? LLoyd not in the top 50 WR this week?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Go look at weeks 10-13 regarding Brandon. He hasn’t been fantasy relevant this season spare for a few games that you couldn’t have called before they started.

Your lineup looks right to me.

  13. Andy says:
    (link)

Why is Olsen ranked so low? SD isn’t the best matchup but with Lafell hurting and the Chargers defense being exploited by TEs lately, I’m suprised to his value dip that much this week.

Also, now that Bilal Powell is hurt I have a flex quandary on my hands: Antonio Brown, David Wilson, Michael Turner, Danny Amendola, or Powell (if he plays)?

    Thanks a ton

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

I think once you get outside of the top 3 to 5 TEs, they remaining players are a crapshoot. I like Olsen but don’t trust him. I see what you’re saying about the Chargers but I just think there are better plays this week.

Is this a PPR? I’m worried about Amendola and I don’t trust Turner at all. Powell is still my starter unless Ahmad is ruled out…then I’d go Wilson.

  14. Brian Emerson says:
    (link)

What do you think about Tony Sheffler? Lions are potentially missing Pettigrew, not to mention the absence of Broyles, Young, and Burleson. Would you play him over Dallas Clark?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

He’s a decent deep end call. I’d still play Clark over him, though.

  15. Hotrod says:

How hard do you thinn AJ goes off tonight? Need a big start to my semi-finals. I think he is due for a huge game after a couple of mediocre games.

  16. Nico says:
    (link)

I’ve got 4 guys for 2 spots in a .5 PPR and .1 point for 10 kick or punt return yards. I was planning on starting Bryce Brown (vs Cin) tonight and David Wilson (vs. Atl) if Bradshaw is out, or swapping Sproles (vs. TB) in for Wilson if Bradshaw is playing, and keeping Crabtree (vs. NE) on the bench. Sound like a plan or would you change something? Thanks!

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

It sounds like the right thing to do to me.

  17. Hotrod says:
    (link)

Flacco not ranked? I am playing him as my OP or QB2 this week. He has been pretty good at home(realize Denver is pretty good) but would you not start him? Just need him to be solid. I could start Steve Smith over him (or WW QB options Henne, Quinn or Cousins)… Thanks

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

QBs always have bigger shots at outperforming a skill player, especially a WR. Just because he’s not ranked doesn’t mean he’s not start-worthy. If I had to, he’d be 21 or 22. I’d still start him in a 2QB league.

  18. mH says:
    (link)

Bilal Powell is injured, Cecil Shorts is concusstionable, now its looking like F. Jones or A. Green in as RB = boof … in case Shorts is a no go, DHB or Tate? (Or Hawkins in for tonight?)

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Ugly…Give Green a go. Man, I’d really want to start Shorts there but Hawkins is your second best option, IMHO. DHB a distant second.

  19. mcgirt says:
    (link)

Thanks for the hard work!… Is there a consistent trend with low-scoring offenses on Thursdays or is it just a coincidence?

last week was a romp with Newton, Rice, Lynch and Moreno.
Still haven’t made up my mind @ WR: Colston, Garcon, Cobb
Bench- Shorts, Crabtree, Moore. They’re all pretty close (at least the top 4)… PPR, what do you think?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

No prob, glad we could help! Except for a few instances, it’s been fairly consistent. Even Denver had a hard time scoring last week vs Oakland. Had 6 redzone chances but ended up with only 2 TDs. I’m pretty down on Philly this week offensively and high on Cincy’s DEF because of it this week.

I’d want Shorts in there over Garcon this week if he’s good to go. Better matchup and you won’t have to worry about RG3. I’d keep it the way you have it until we know Shorts is playing.

  20. Dylan says:
    (link)

Hi there, two big decisions for me, and I’m playing my nemesis for a spot in next week’s fantasy superbowl! It’s a PPR league: DMC or Knowshon and Olsen or Bennet? I was leaning towards the former in both cases but it looks like you think the opposite . You’re clearly higher on Knowshon but I’m guessing you think that it’s pretty much a coin-flip for the other decision? I’m projected to win, so I’d prefer to play it safe, would this affect your opinion?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Hey that’s awesome, good luck this week!

I think Olsen’s role is big enough that he has the higher floor than Bennett but I think Bennett has the bigger shot at the endzone. I’d go Olsen if I’m playing it safe. Knowshon’s worst PPR output as a starter was 10.3, I think you’re safe with him this week against a weak rush defense.

  21. FillyP says:
    (link)

Wow. Myers ranked really, really low. I know you told me to run with Pitta early in the week. This just feels like a trap; Myers dropped a dud against the same Broncos D last week. But up until that game his targets were through the roof. What do you see his role being against a weak KC team? Pitta has dropped some straight snoozers, too..

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Welcome to the lovely and wild world of TEs. I tend to believe the removal of the offensive coordinator for Baltimore gets them back to what made them successful in the pass game earlier in the year: relying on the TE. Unlike the Bronco vs Raider game, this game won’t be over by halftime. Enough pass attempts could and should make Pitta extremely viable this week.

      • FillyP says:
        (link)

        @Sky:

Not to mention the re-emergence of McFadden thrust Myers into a blocking role.. though it’s pretty puzzling given his stellar season how low his targets dipped last week. Still, I don’t know if I can pull the trigger on this. If history is any indicator, Myers is due for a big week and Pitta a dud. They’ve literally been on opposite ends 6 weeks in a row:

This has been the season of poor decisions. For some reason Friday I dropped Wison for G. Tate. Yes, it was dumb. Waivers are based on record and in the playoffs I have the lowest record, so figured I could grab him back. For some reason the people not in the playoffs are still claiming waivers.

Anyway, sob story over: I am stuck running out Mathews and AP at RB (mccoy injured, wells stinks)

    WR: Cruz, DX

My flex choice: Britt, Maclin, Tate, Givens or Amendola
    TE choice: Pitta or Rudolph.

Any help is always appreciated. Love the site, one of my daily visits.

Hey that’s really awesome to hear! Glad you’re enjoying it.

Not dumb at all given what Wilson’s first 13 weeks gave you. And if Ahmad is good to go with Sidney Rice out this week, you might look like the smartest southwick alive (how many southwicks are there?).

      TE: Pitta for me

Flex: Hrm, that’s tough. I don’t trust Maclin/Eagles offense on a short week with a rookie QB against a strong defense. I’d hold my breath for Sunday and hope Rice is out to start Tate. Last week could’ve been good but the passing game in Seattle was not needed after the 1st quarter. Victim of circumstance. If Tate’s a no go then it’s either Amendola or Givens depending on Danny’s health.

That’s awesome to hear, let’s keep things rolling this week!

Moreno/Murray/Wilson but I wouldn’t bet Ahmad’s out and get stuck with Dwyer. I’d go Brown as my 3rd RB for safety reasons.

A little torn who to start this week (1st playoff week):

    Starting WR’s: Jackson, Thomas
    Starting RB’s: Lynch, ?
    Flex: ?

Options: C Johnson (bad couple of weeks but good matchup this week), Moreno (should get a bunch of touches this week again), D Alexander (strong couple of weeks and a good matchup this week), Leshoure (is Bell the go-to guy now?), Wilson (seems Bradshaw is out so that would be a great matchup too).

Who gets RB2 spot and the flex spot??!!

    • Sky

      Sky says:

      Flex/Rb2: CJ/Knowshon

I don’t trust Bradshaw is out just yet. Worst week Knowshon has given is 83 yards with 4 receptions against a tough rush D in TB. I think he’s safer than people want to believe.

Moreno and CJ. Ravens are a poor defense against the rush. I’m not as hip to Bryce: short week/rookie QB/strong defense to go against

      • Jay says:
        (link)

        @Sky:
Still recovering from playing B.Brown, and still need 2. CJ is a lock given Monday Night last ditch run for points. My reasoning on the other 3.

Wilson is getting a ton of attention as a top 10 back now that Bradshaw is out. My concerns is that he’ll get a max of 20 touches, not many receptions. Plus not sure how people are so high on a guy who simply tore up a terrible NO d and sp. Of those 100 rushing yards 50 were on a single carry (skewed the rushing numbers a ton) and I don’t think he’ll return another kick the rest of the year.

Knowshon: I think is a solid 10-12 point option. I don’t think this game is going to be as high scoring as everyone thinks and I’m already rolling with manning/thomas. He benefits like you mentioned from a brilliant play caller putting him in favorable positions to succeed. He may sneak in a TD simply based on his workload but I’m not expecting the world from him this week.

Mathews: Guy has disappointed me all year long. But now that Ronnie is out and rumblings are he’ll exceed 30 touches, I see a solid 20-22 point day out of him. In a .05 ppr league I see him benefiting from check down passes all day. Of the guys on my roster I believe Carolina is the worst against the run. and if you look at his performance this year, he has done decent against the NFC South, similar point total as Wilson last week.

After hearing the Mathews news, I’ve moved him above Wilson but I still want Knowshon there. Doesn’t have to be high scoring for him to be the better of the three. Baltimore can’t defend the run, he could have another huge day.

            @Sky:
Bravo Sir! Thanks for the help this week. Not sure if my team can overcome poor wr performances. But I’m still in it thanks to your Knowshon call.

I’m having trouble deciding who to start at QB. Daulton, Palmer or Wilson this week?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

      I ranked them Dalton/Wilson/Palmer above.

I need some help with 2 positions.
    Ppr league 1
    Dez or maclin?
And Dwyer or David Wilson for flex?

    Ppr league 2
David Wilson, DMC, gore. I need 2 of those 3 to go along with AP.

    Some thoughts ASAP please!

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Dez. Has to be Dwyer until we know if Ahmad is healthy or not.

      DMC/Gore

      • Leeor says:
        (link)

        @Sky:
If Wilson starts, him over Dwyer?
And if he starts, still bench him for gore and DMC?

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

          @Leeor:

          I’d play him over Dwyer

Maybe over DMC but it would be pushing it for me. Probably still on my bench.

  29. Mark says:

In a ppr would u start maclin tonight, or amendola sunday? With Cecil probably playing im shying away from Blackmon who is playing an improved dolphins secondary

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Hard to know what Amendola’s health will be like right now. I’m calling for a down night from the Eagles offense across the board so I probably am jaded against starting Maclin. I’m ok with Blackmon in a PPR if it comes down to that.

Ugh, I hate asking a D/ST question, but I’m facing an undefeated team in my league this week for a finals spot and need to pull out all the stops. 49ers are my normal start, but @NE terrifies me. My backup is MIA. Which do you think has the higher ceiling? Should I leave SF in there and just not watch the game?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Miami would have the upside there but if Cecil is healthy, the Jags aren’t that bad offensively. I’d personally stay SF, I think there’s more potential for bust from putting the Dolphins in but they do have the higher ceiling.

  31. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

If Bradshaw is out, do you play Wilson over DMC, JC, or Moreno?

    0.5 PPR.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Close with DMC but I wouldn’t

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Sky: yeah. It’s a tough call, honestly. But I agree. Not sure I could bench DMC.

I hate Bryce Brown. Pretty sure he already cost me the week.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

I had him as a low end RB2. I hated putting him there but other options in terms of touches and targets made it hard to say no to him. I’m sure your team has a chance to pull it out still

    Sky,

Sliding into Round 2 of the Playoffs with WR issues. Do I go home with the date I brought to the dance or do I abandon her for the exciting new upstart?

    Need 3 in .5 PPR:
Welker, Cobb, Decker, DX, Josh Gordon, A. Brown

    Thanx in advance!

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

DX/Cobb/Welker. If you need some upside, I could see Gordon over Welker or Cobb due to their matchups

  35. Justin says:

I have reggie bush/ frank gore/ and knowshon moreno starting. But I also have Darren sproles and David Wilson. Should I change my starters? Also Pittsburgh, Baltimore or Minnesota D?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

I’d start Sproles over Reggie. Wilson over Gore if you need upside in your lineup.

I have Pitt and Minny right next to each other this week. One of those two but not a huge preference either way

    Sky….

    Qb: Freeman
    RB: Foster
    RB: Lynch
    WR: V. Jackson
    WR:Colston
    WR: Cobb
    TE: M. Bennet
    K: Connor Barth
    DEF: Detroit

-Thoughts on Freeman, Cobb, and Bennet this week?…
    -Eli or Freeman?
    -Cobb or Alexander?
    -Bennet or Rudolph/Myers?

    Thanks

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

I ranked Freeman over Eli, Cobb over Alexander. Bennett and Rudolph are right next to eachother this week for me so I could go either way.

.5 ppr start garçon or shorts?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

I have them right next to each other in the rankings so not a huge preference either way. If RGIII is a no go, Shorts wins out.

I was riding in last place for the majority of the season and now I’m in the semi-finals so I don’t want to mess this up. Should I start SanFran against NE or the Giants against the Falcons? Also, my three running backs are Alfred Morris, David Wilson, and Knowshon Moreno: which two would you start this week?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Still think SF is the better DEF there.

      Alfred/Moreno for me.

  39. Stumanji says:

Currently starting jets D/ST. Are Browns a better play with RG3 out or stick with gang green?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

‘skins are still a well-coached team. I think you’re going to see a lot of Alfred Morris and Evan Royster tomorrow and not many opportunities for turnovers, unlike the Jets facing Locker.

Semi finals – need help with 2 HUGE decisions please:

    Packers or Seahawks?
Bears OLine is terrible, Cutler is banged-up, the weather forecast is sh!tty, and the last time they played Cutler was sacked 7 times and tossed 4 picks. We know what the Seashawks D can do, but they’re on the “road”. My opponent has the Lions, which means I need to try and match that production.

Heath Miller or Scheffler, PPR scoring?

I also have Gates, but he’s junk. I was rolling with Miller, until i read that Pettigrew is out, making Scheff the #2 option in the pass game. Then again, if DET gets up early, they won’t be throwing.

PIT has issues on the line, so perhaps Miller blocks more.

    Thanks.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Seahawks is still the better choice there. Keep in mind the GB defense has been plagued by injuries since that game. The players making those plays the first time around may be limited or not in there at all.

      Go Miller.

Ppr league flex question. I am playing #1 so i need all the points i can get. I have 3 options for my flex spot: eric decker, ryan matthews and reggie bush. I have been rolling with Decker lately, but matthews and bush have the best matchups this week. If you were me, who would you throw in there?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

Mathews is getting the load today. I’d want him in there.

and would you go with dwyer or dmc?

    • Sky

      I’d still say Garcon there.

      Go DMC

  43. PBurke5 says:

So you’d start both Knowshon and Chris Johnson over Forte this week? I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger. (We start two RB, no flex, and those are my three options.) Thanks.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Not really sure what to tell you, that’s how I ranked them. Other than last week, Forte hasn’t been all that impressive this season. CJ & Knowshon have the better matchups.

  44. Frank Lynch says:
    (link)

Hey whats up man… James over in fantasy basketball referred you about a fantasy football question. I have decker in theflex spot and I got armendola on the bench. Do you think I should keep it that way or no? Also I have Gro-nkowski so right now i have dallas clark in. lkeep clark or hit the waiver wire and pick up watson or cumberland or something??

    • Sky

Hey Frank happy football playoffs. I’d keep Decker in there. I think Watson has big potential today compared to Clark. But they’re both good starts
