Doc, speaking of TE, do you think I am better off keeping Finley @ $22 or Matt Ryan @ $31?

I’ve got the 8th pick in a 12 team standard league draft and am seriously considering taking Calvin Johnson. I feel one or more of McFadden, SJax, Gore or Forte will be available when I pick again at 17 but if I take Mendenhall, McCoy or DMac in the 1st I probably will lose out on the top 3 WRs. I think Megatron will be the top receiver this year. Am I crazy for thinking Calvin/best RB available is a better combo than Mendenhall or McCoy and Nicks?

Doc, can you give me your impression of this squad? It’s an 8 Team league, 4 points for passing TD, 6 points for other TDs, 0.5 PPR:

    QB – Rivers
    WR – White
    WR – VJax
    WR – Holmes
RB – CJnoK (I kept him and couldn’t change it)
    RB – Forte
    TE – Finley
    WR/RB – Ingram
    K – Gostkowski
    D – Baltimore
    IDP – Tulloch
    IDP – Posluzny
    BN – DeAngelo
    BN – Addai
    BN – Mike Thomas
    BN – Lance Moore
    BN – Freeman
    BN – Gronk

I really don’t like my RBs, especially with CJ being up in the air and with Ingram being a wildcard. What do you think?

@Dr Manhattan: I would go with Mendenhall/Nicks over Calvin Johnson/Best for sure. The more I hear about Best the more I think he is gonna be a headache(pun?) all year. I wouldn’t surprised to see Nicks very close or exceeding C. Johnsons value this year.

No love for Watson? I think he will be a fav target for McCoy this season, especially ppr.

    @Colin Says: Finley

@Dr. Manhattan Says: I think it’s a good strategy. I really like Mendy and Nicks, but you aren’t sure to get that anyway. And I love CJ too.

@Lubey Says: I think I have him higher than most. I like him, but Moore will probably eat into his touches a little.

@emporers monkey: I think he was saying best available, not Jahvid Best.
