Thanks Jay for all your help!
His Adrian Peterson for my Anderson on the Jets?
I have Green, Fuller and Tate WR and Hyde, Coleman and Crowell RB.
Standard PPR .
@NO PEPPER: Yeah, I’m okay with that.
Trade Mariota and Benji for Prescott?
Thanks!
@Steve: Yeah, I’m good with that.
.5 ppr keeper
Should I lose Marlon Mack for B Powell or hold? I currently have two defenses w/ KC on the bye. I could always lose KC DEF to add Powell instead? Thoughts, thanks jay!
@ryanoger: I’d hold. I think Mack’s share increases as we get later into the season.
@Jay:
Should I lose KC DEF my other DEF right now is Detroit? Could lose KC for B Powell, Marqise Lee, or Robert Woods?
thanks again man
@ryanoger: for Powell seems good.
I was offered Julio for Dak. Should I do it? It seems like really good value, but looking at my roster, I think it comes down to whether or not Cam will be a reliable QB ROS (also, I’d need to pick up a fill-in QB — looks like Rivers or Keenum — for the Panther’s bye next week). Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Jay!
Roster (12-team 0.5 ppr, start QB/2RB/2WR/TE/flex)
QB: Prescott, Newton
RB: Freeman, Miller, Lewis, Woodhead, Morris
WR: Cooks, Hogan (when healthy), Nelson, Woods, C. Davis
TE: Walker, Olsen (IR slot)
@friar: I think you do. It’s a risk on that end, you’re right, but I think it’s still worth it.
@Jay: Thanks! I’ve since received a second trade feeler that might be even better, but I need some advice on how to finalize it. The Hunt owner expressed interest in Dak and said he might be willing to trade Hunt for Dak + X (depending on what X is — I think it’d need to be a starter-quality RB/WR to get the deal done).
My question for you is, who should I offer to include alongside Dak in this deal? Knowing that I have the option of Dak for Julio, there’s no point in making an offer that would be less beneficial than the one I’ve got, but I also don’t want to lowball this guy and risk losing a chance to snag Hunt. Any suggestions? Alternately, if the Julio deal is a better option, just let me know and I’ll jump on it.
@friar: yeah, I’d try to stick to the original deal.
I asked MB this as well (thanks for the answer MB!) but wanted to get your opinion. The Green for Bryant/McKinnon trade was pulled last week but is back on the table along with the two other trades below. Deadline the 11th.
2QB PPR.
QBs Wentz, Wilson
RBs Henry, Murray, D. Lewis, Mack, T. Cohen,
WRs Green, Hogan, R. Anderson, Beckham (holding for next year)
TE Engram
Should I drop Cohen? Corey Davis, R. Woods on waiver
Please rank following trades and whether you would do each of them?
Green for
1. J. Howard, D Hopkins
2. A. Jeffery, A. Kamara
3. Bryant, McKinnon
@BAC: Yeah, MB knows what’s up. Hold on Cohen.
1 – Yes, 2 – Needs slightly more, 3 – No.
@Jay: Thank you! MB had them ranked
1. Jeffery, Kamara
2. Howard, Hopkins
3. Bryant, McKinnon
What else would you like to see to the Jeffery deal? he has Evans and Diggs as well.
@BAC: might be too much. Probably just depth. And no probs!
@Jay: Would you rather have Bryant or Hopkins in the deal given Hopkins challenging ending schedule?
Morning jay! Crazy 2 weeks from today is thanksgiving
.5 PPR could you guide me which avenue on my team I should pursue or is standing pat the best option? I’m looking to remove dead weight on my roster & have players who can help me on playoff push!
My team:
QB Dak
RBs Gordon, hunt, mcaffery, AP, Aaron jones, McKinnon
WR’s Keenan Allen, Baldwin, tyreek hill, hogan, Parker, Corey Davis, fuller
TE Doyle
D/St I have eagles but they have a bye I haven’t added a week 10 d yet
Kicker I added gano for the week
Based on my team would you recommend dealing for a WR? Or RB?
1.) deal hunt or Gordon to acquire mccoy? If I do Hunt I can try to target his Crabtree or Diggs to be included. Who do you like ROS hunt/Gordon vs McCoy? If do Gordon prob just a 1 for 1 swap.
2.) deal hunt to acquire gurley? I doubt gurley owner would do it though
3.) deal McKinnon to acquire brandin cooks
4.) deal McKinnon to acquire Crabtree
5.) deal hunt to acquire Freeman + Michael Thomas
6.) deal Gordon or hunt to acquire AJ green
7.) deal hunt straight up to acquire fournette
8.) deal hunt to acquire fournette + either Greg Olsen or golden Tate (or mike Evans since he’s suspended)
9.) deal hunt + Baldwin or Keenan Allen to acquire bell?
10.) deal McKinnon to acquire theilen
10.) deal Aaron jones to acquire juju smith ?
11.) if I package either Keenan Allen (or tyreek hill) + McKinnon (or Mcaffery) what are examples or WR or RB to pursue?
— hold Philly D past their bye or dump them? If I hold past bye I would drop fuller for a D
Week 10 D’s:
– Giants D (@ SF)
– Dolphins D (@ Carolina)
– redskins D (vs Vikings)
– Broncos D (tough matchup vs pats)
Lastly if I do drop eagles D instead of holding them I could then drop fuller for either Charles Clay, josh Gordon, martavis Bryant, Curtis Samuel, Phil Dorsett, mike Wallace.
Thanks man! Going to have a tough matchup this week the owner has bell! Yikes!!
@Jack Frost: Hey man!
Yeah, snuck up on me this time!
1 – Hold. 2 – Hold. I think I just love Hunt here. 3 – Yeah, close though. 4 – Nope, 5 – Wow, I think no, but it’s close. I think I like the WRs you have comparatively. 6 – Naw. 7 – Hold, 8 – Hold, 9 – yeah, I’m actually okay with this. Bell is the exception. 10. Naw.
Yeah, just hold until something blingy appears.
@Jay:
Thanks jay so you’d hold Philly D? Which D are you then streaming for this week? I actually put a trade offer an owner has two D’s I offered fuller for pats D
Yeah sure did sneak up on me too! Do you get snow where you are? We get it here I’m bracing for a snowy winter
@Jack Frost: sometimes, but DC does get some bitter cold.
And maybe the Giants, what’s out there?
@Jay:
Giants D might be the best option, besides that there’s Miami, chargers, broncos but they get Brady but his WR core is dinged hogan may miss Sunday .also saints D but it’s a road game it’ll be raw & in 40’s on Sunday not sure how saints D are on the road. Oh just saw redskins D too Norman is back which is nice they host vikes
@Jack Frost: Yeah, I like that pick there. The Giants.
I was offered Wentz for Hunt, 12 team PPR. Since I lost Rodgers, I have played McCown.
My other backs are Freeman, Mckinnon, Buck Allen, and I picked up Woodhead.
Do you take Wentz?
Many thanks.
@CL: naw, McCown is okay there.
Hi Jay, I have Hunt and was offered McCoy straight up for him. I’m leaning on doing it, given hunts usage, reid being reid, and mccoys playoff schedule. Thoughts? Thank you man!
@Mike:
Not Jay, but I’m taking Shady all the way to the bank on this one.
@Mike: yeah, I’m okay with it here.
Hey Jay!
.5 PPR.
Do shoot Emmanuel Sanders from a grassy knoll at this point? I currently have Hopkins, Alshon, and Theilen for normal weeks but Alshon is on a bye.
Other options for a bye week fill-in include Humphries, Curtis Samuel, or I have Dede Westbrook and could throw him in if he plays. I know he and Brock had some chemistry in 05 and he had 5 targets, but only 1 reception last week. Talk me off the ledge and tell me he has to get better.
@Spock Lobster: it’ll get better, but not by much.
@Spock Lobster: but hold, not into the other names right now.
Other option:
Marvin Jones for Aaron Jones. I have McKinnon, Howard, Kamara, Abdullah, and Damien Williams.
@Spock Lobster: I like this deal for you.
Standard scoring, pick a side:
Julio Jones and Alvin Kamara
or
Antonio Brown and TY Hilton
@Jason: Jones side. Slightly.
STD league (no ppr) here is my lineup
QB: Cam newton
WR: E Sanders
WR: W Fuller
RB: L fournette
RB: K drake
TE: A Jenkins
Flex: CJ Anderson
B: J Kearse
B: T locket
B: A Humphries
B: M Lee
B: L Murray
B: J Lee
Not sure about who I should start given WR, RB’s and flex. Lockett over those?
@Blake: I thhink you’re on the right track.
@Jay:
locket over who?
@Blake: Oh, sorry, meant it that I like your lineup how you had it set there. Lockett maybe over Fuller, but that’s more ceiling vs. floor there.
So I’m making my playoff push (3rd place) in a full PPR, trying to improve the squad. 14 team, 7 bench spots so very deep.
RB2 is Marshawn, and given his remaining schedule I think now is the time to sell. Trying to flip him for Hyde – is there a better target?
The deal as of now for Hyde is looking like Brate + Marshawn for ASJ + Hyde. ASJ has fallen off a bit but I feel like this is a reasonable trade. Only concern with Hyde is that the 9ers are so far gone that they might start going heavy with Breida to see what they have in the future? Also, Brate might still thrive without Jameis for dip & dunk PPR plays – plus for some reason I’m under the impression Fitzpatrick goes to TEs a decent amount.
Keeping in mind I have a pretty solid team so I don’t need to take any risks right now, what are your thoughts on this? I could also potentially do Brate for Shepard + Cook with another team, but my receivers are relatively deep, given the league. Need a better RB2. Here’s the team for reference:
QB – Mariota
RB – Gurley
RB – Marshawn
WR – Evans
WR – Crabtree
TE – Brate
FLEX – Kupp
D – Vikings
K – Nugent
BE- Paul Richardson
BE – Marlon Mack
BE – John Brown
BE – Snead
BE – Dalton
BE – Alex Collins
BE – Rawls
Preciate
@LeggoPens: yeah, I think it’s an okay deal.
Pick 2 out of the following PPR
Ricardo Louis Richardson Sanders
Thanks
@Corey: Richardson and Louis.
This week will determine whether I make the playoffs or not. Gotta win.
My starters right now:
QB Brady
RB Ingram, Aaron Jones
WR Julio, Baldwin
TE Vernon Davis
Flex Cooper Kupp
DST Steelers
K Succop
Bench: Stafford, Cohen, Drake, D. Williams, Ertz, OJ Howard, and Amari Cooper.
It’s a 12 team ppr dynasty league. My major decisions seem to be Stafford or Brady, RB2 between Jones, Drake, and Williams, Kupp at Flex?, and Davis at TE. I have Howard and available at TE on waivers are Ebron, Njoku, Dickson, Derby, Fiedorowicz while available Flexs are Amendola, Lafell, Doctson..not great options. Help? and thanks.
@Allan: yeah, I could see Doctson being a high risk play. Leaning to Brady-Amendola and hoping the floor works.
Good luck!
PPR flex need 2, Witten, Damien Williams or try for a home run with Prosise or Terrence Williams
@Mike: I think the first two unless the projections look super bad.
12 team half PPR where i went from 2nd in points, tied for 1st in record (near tie in points) to literally doing the opposite game with winston (first week back from injury, ranked low, benched, he did great, next 2 weeks he’s ranked high, i play and he costs me probably around 40 points of guys i could’ve streamed). now 5-4 and in 5th in record, only barely 2nd in points (and NOT near 1st anymore).
QB (1) winston/mccown
RB (2) hunt/melgor/white/gore/mack
WR (2) hill/hilton/cooks/shepard/doctson
TE (1) rudolph
1 flex
IR olsen
K nugent
DEF PIT (shame how much their fantasy output isn’t close to their real life D skills, maybe it soon will be right when i was able to waiver them, turns out i’m sorta wrong, 8th best fantasy, 3rd best in real life after checking on it)
drop doctson for another QB in order to rotate (fitz grabbed by somebody else, but probably only for this week): bortles/garrapolololo/keenum/brissett/cutler/bridgewater
2. 12 team max 3 QB owned, only start one but due to other roster caps it’s smart to own exactly 3. i have brissett/dak/flacco, drop anybody for any of: bridgewater, fitz, trubisky,
@Mantis Toboggan MD: Hate to say it, but Bortles I think. And on 2, Flacco for Bridgewater.
ROS:
Tevin Coleman or Aaron Jones?
Thanks!
@O’Doyle Rules: Jones, but it’s very close.
.5 ppr who wins this trade?
Give – Bell
Get – Stafford/Gronk
Also pick 1 rb out of these guys to start this week – Darkwa or Powell?
Thanks!
@The Shady KHunt: Bell side. And Darkwa.
.5 ppr
Lose Witten for Charles Clay or hold?
@ryanoger: Hold.
w/ zeke out.. morris over coleman? half ppr
@fudgemybudge: Yeah, a little nervous though.
w/ zeke out.. morris over coleman? half ppr
@fudgemybudge: Duplicate it looks like. I HAVEN’T CHANGE MY MIND. haha
Rest of season standard: Clay or doyle? Clay has an appealing playoff schedule
@Christian herman: Yeah, Clay. Been really underwhelmed by Doyle this year.
Thanks Jay! One more question before I go.
Which side wins this trade.
Give – Cooks
Get – L Miller
@The Shady KHunt: Standard, I’d say Miller but it’s really close. PPR is Cooks. It’s a fair trade though.
@Jay: Thanks. sort of what I was thinking. I’m in a .5PPR league but im hurting at rb with just Gordon, CJA, Powell, Darkwa, Williams.
My wr’s are Cooks, Hopkins, Marvin Jones JR, and Westbrook.
I don’t know what to do.. we play 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex. Was going to just ride out Cooks Hopkins Jones Gordon and play the plus side RB. What do you think?
@The Shady KHunt: Tough one for sure. I don’t think you can withstand losing another WR here. I think your roster management makes sense there.
@Jay: Alright I’m just going to stick with my team and see what happens. Thanks again.
@The Shady KHunt: Any time!
with zeke out i’ve very likely moved morris into RB #2 spot in 14 team PPR. who’s the flex, lockett/mack/fuller. if it’s not lockett i can wait in this decision. surely seems morris is over mack though at RB #2.
@For an Armenianless Vacation come to Akron: possible difference as richardson IS playing now.
@For an Armenianless Vacation come to Akron: I think Fuller there. And yeah, I think Morris is a start.
@Jay: with the morris trade the only spot i’m F’ed this week is one league where i traded morris away for WR value, but have 2 starters on bye, now having to start all three of moncreif/mcbride/wright (CHI) if forte is out. and forte’s old, these midweek injuries bode badly for future value. from your rankings right now i cannot improve on this. 20 teamer.
Good thing I’m wrong a lot! Haha.
@Jay: i wasn’t shitting on you with that comment. i’m not dropping moncreif for king NYG (that would be closest “improvement” idea). stanton is limping already gonna be gabbert time soonish. meanwhile in this same league i dropped amos (or branch were the options, branch now out, while of course being consensus ranked higher) to get mcbride for this week needing WR starters (and had intended on benching moncreif, and still will if forte plays).
Jay!!
.5 PPR league
Thoughts on my roster any changes or keep it:
QB Dak Prescott
RB1: Gordon @ JAX
RB2: had a hard time w/ this one but AP vs Hawks
WR1: Baldwin @ Arizona
WR2: Parker @ Carolina
WR3: Corey Davis vs bengals
TE: Doyle vs Pitt
Flex: mcaffery vs Dolphins
Bench: McKinnon, Keenan Allen, Charles Clay, Aaron jones, hogan injured, tyreek hill bye, hunt bye. Chark west
I could drop chark west for any of these as a plug/play or as a stash: Rawls, Booker, Burkhead, or rod smith.
— should I be worried with AP tonight? I’m just worried about his legs in the 3rd quarter & 4th after rushing it 37 times just 4 days ago! Maybe he’s fresh he didn’t do much in New Orleans. But looks like AP will get work which us a positive
Thanks!
Probably Rawls, just in case. Not too worried.
@Jay:
Grr lol AP was on my bench & didn’t beat the clock so he’s locked. Yikes!! Now I need to play with McKinnon or mcaffery
@Timbo:
Thought I for sure had him in my starting lineup but didn’t have it saved I guess
@Timbo: That’s fine, your secondary options are legit!
@Jay:
Thanks!! I wasn’t too happy when rosters locked but atleast I had Baldwin playing got me 11.5 points. Rawls did nothing glad I left him on wire & glad I left AP on bench.
Jay,
Lost Zeke and missed out on Morris. Luckily I scooped up Kamara a few weeks ago and gave Melvin but still looking for some more RB depth. Please rank the following waiver wire RBs for ROS:
CJ Anderson, Collins, Allen, Darkwa, Abdullah, Montgomery, Crowell
Thanks!
I’d say it’s Collins, CJA, Darkwa, Allen, Abdullah, Montgomery, Crowell.
12 team ppr keep 3
2 rbs/3wrs no flex 200$ budget
Qb Manning
Rb Zeke(52$), mccafrey(29), mixon(17), mack(3)
Wr cooks(51), hopkins(9), juju(3), davante adams(7)
Watkins(25), doctson(3),
TE ertz(7), henry(8)
My Hopkins (11$ keeper)/mixon(17) for his
Dez(48$), diggs(15), freeman(13)
Zeke suspended
@Big League choo: Yeah, I think this is a good trade for you, but I also think that you can get away with what you have. It’ll be like threading the needle, but I love that keeper value on Hopkins and Mixon.
Good chance to win in both these leagues, would these trades help Jay?
16 team league:
move Diggs/Gurley/Rod Smith for D Jax/Freeman/D Martin
or
move Funchess/Gurley for D Jax/Freeman/D Williams
My team
Tyrod at QB
Sanu/Funchess/Diggs/Maclin/M Williams/C Coleman (start 3)
Gurley/Elliot/Morris/R Smith/Kelley/ (start 2 + flex)
Jimmy Graham at TE
@nightpandas: I like the second deal the best.
League #2: 12 team std, keep 3
Cousins/McCown (start 1)
M Thomas/Cooper/Ginn/C Davis/Doctson (start 2+flex)
Gurley/Kamara/Mixon (start 2)
Gronk/Doyle (start 1)
keep 3 league: offered Jarvis Landry and a 6th pick for Doyle and a 2nd pick
@nightpandas: Cousins, Thomas, Cooper Gurley, Kamara, Mixon and Gronk.
I’d do it. I think you have other keepers more worthy and the pick change is great.
@Jay: actually other way round. I would give up Doyle and 2nd to get Landry and 6th
All- Knocking on the door of playoffs after a 1-5 start, 4th must win week in a row. 12 team PPR.
2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLex-who you starting this week at RB WR and flex?
RB: Freeman, Kamara,Mixon, Henry, Alfred Morris, Devontae Booker
WR: Hopkins/Diggs/Kelvin/Fuller
Thanks
@Keeks: I’d say Freeman, Kamara, Morris and HOpkins and DIggs.
Woah!! I fell off my couch with this bogus trade offer I received.
It’s so bad I have to share.
I send mcaffery. & you’d think I’d get a top WR. Yeah me too. This owner is hilarious to think I’d accept this. I get Cobb , Martellus Bennett & hurns. Mcaffery alone is worth more than those scrubs!
@Roger dodger: Yeah, I agree. I think he’s trying to win you over with volume, a common tactic, but most people don’t even bother looking at your needs, which needs to happen more often in all fantasy sports.
Rest of fantasy season, please rank:
Breida, Rod Smith, Damien Williams, David Johnson, Prosise, McGuire, Woodhead, Burkhead
Thanks!
@Brent: oh, and Devontae Booker
@Brent: I have it at Williams, Woodhead, Johnson, Brieda. McGuire, Burkhead, Prosise, and Smith.
If this is just a bench piece, then Johnson is first. Think of this list based on if you had to start these guys starting this Sunday.
@Jay: It is bench basically. I start mckinnon, drake, mack (flex)…I was gonna drop breda for David Johnson and hope for a playoff comeback. But I was curious how you see it
@Jay: How does Booker fit in?
would you drop will fuller for rod smith?
also could drop Dion Lewis and Kenyan Drake
@lb23:
its a ppr league, 12 team
@lb23: Hold on Drake, but I kinda like Fuller a tad bit more here. It’s interesting. I think if Fuller is just on your bench, I’d do the switch.
@Jay: thanks man!
Now WR question:
Standard league, no TEs (they are WRs)
Pick 1: Marquis Lee, Robert Woods, Brate, ASJ, Doyle, Delano Walker
@Brent: I’d say Woods. Tough though, they are all kinda grouped together.
@Jay: Charles Clay is also an option and kyle rudolph
@Brent: I’d probably stay away from most of this TEs, a lot of risk there. Though, Doyle could be close here.
Where do you have Powell in your updated 0.5 PPR league rankings now that he will be the lead back this week?
@Brian: Probably 24ish? Around Coleman and Crowell. Full update will probably happen tomorrow.
why does everybody (more so you actually, but it’s mostly everybody at FP) have
doyle vs PIT (PIT is 2nd vs TE’s in league, 5th overall in passing at FO)
over
rudolph @ WAS (29th vs TE, 11th vs passing overall)
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: His health is returning, and he’s the only other person on that roster who can catch besides Hilton. I think with Rudolph, a lot of his value comes from redzone looks and Keenum, sans last week, hasn’t been really getting it done.
That’s at least where my thinking comes from.
@Jay: fair point, i’m thinking PIT is good enough at TE’s (extremely good against them) that this might end up being an aiken or moncreif targeted week (or hilton, PIT only 11th at #1 WR’s, 13th vs 2’s, so it would seem their overall 11th would be no smart part from the TE limiting) to leave others that brissett will (successfully at least) throw to. yeah doyle has been healthy for a bit now.
Yeah, I’m not entirely sure how to take vs. TE’s into account, not saying I don’t agree, just saying I have no idea how much merit to give to such a thing that’s hard for me to gauge. Rudy’s system would probably reveal what’s going on there a bit more. This specific game could be an interesting think-piece on it as Doyle has gotten around 10 targets the past two games which is fantastic.
Hi jay,
Which RB would you start this week as RB2 (std):
1. A. Jones
2. Crowell
3. Drake
4. D. Williams
5. R. Smith
Thanks man!
@Dimah: Probably Jones there.
@Jay:
Thanks man appreciate it
One more (std as well), who would you start?
1. A Jones
2. C. Thompson
3. McFadden
4. R. Smith
And Jordy or Beasley (chicgo weather will be very bad tomorrow for a pass game)?
Thanks!
@Dimah: Hmm, I think Jones here. And I’d say Jordy. But it could close based on weather.
@Jay:
Appreciate it again
can probably drop mack as RB 6# for doyle off week next week, who’s best TE replacement in that week
kroft @ DEN
fiedor vs ARI
gresham @ HOU
green julius vs TB
@Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey: Leaning Fiedor there. Kinda shoot-from-the-hip.
