Each week I'll be spending countless hours flipping coins in order to determine an order for my weekly rankings which will be published bright and early each Wednesday morning. It's an elaborate round-robin coinflipping system for each position. Wide receivers alone take me a full Monday worth of coin flips. And I'm currently in the process of filing for workers comp due to carpal tunnel. But it's well worth it, knowing that you, the loyal Razzball reader, appreciate my pain and sweat. Just so you know you can trust me, here's how my coin flipping system stacked up against all of the other 149 industry analysts competing against me in the 2020 Fantasy Pros Weekly Ranking Competition:

Anyway, here's my week 9 rankings for half PPR 2021 fantasy football that will be frequently updated by coin flip up until kickoff:

Tuesdays at Razzball Fantasy Football are going to be "lit," as the kids say. Although I'm not sure if the kids put it in quotation marks, I'll have to check in with VH1 on that. Regardless, we have the one and only The Joey Wright leading off every Tuesday morning with his in-depth waiver wire advice column. Then Blair (or JB!) spins his MNF narrative with an eloquent Monday Night Football recap and Paul Blake shares some deep league thoughts. Finally, I'll bring it up the rear with my rest of season rankings broken down by position. Reminder, these rest of season rankings are only a very rough guideline to be used for trade formulation and other roster decisions. These are geared toward half PPR formats and should be adjusted accordingly for your particular league settings. Anyway, here's the updated positional rankings for the rest of the half PPR 2021 fantasy football season:

It can be tough to always roster your favorite players in dynasty fantasy football. However, sports betting is starting to become widely legalized throughout the United States. Player prop bets are a great alternative to fantasy if you have a hunch about a player's performance. Louisiana is a state where sports betting is on the horizon. Caesars Sportsbook Louisiana just launched registration, and users can get ready for sports betting in the state!

The NFL is a league controlled by the passing game, and it’s full of elite talents at the wide receiver position. With a mix of young, budding superstars and impressive veterans, there are tons of options to choose from in building your dynasty roster. In this article, I rank my top five at the wide receiver position for dynasty leagues and include a handful of honorable mentions at the end. Let’s dive in.

Back in the day, going all the way back to 2020, we used to get excited when we got to watch Patrick Mahomes and the explosive Kansas City Chiefs in primetime games. Unfortunately, the 2021 version of the Chiefs has struggled, and those struggles continued in this week’s Monday Night Football game. On the day after Halloween, we thought we would get a treat of a game, but it turns out, it was just a trick.
We’ve officially passed the halfway point of the fantasy football season. Some of us are riding high with 6-2 records basking in dreams and visions of fantasy championships on the horizon. The rest of us have located our local friendly time traveling scientist to convert our 2018 Nissan Rogue into a time machine. I honestly need an oil change as I have trouble getting it above 88 miles per hour. So, I guess I can’t go back and should instead focus on digging myself out of this hole without having the kiss my mother or have her see me in my undies. I’m talking of course of the waiver wire and where we’re going, you’ll need the waiver wire.

Time. The great equalizer. An enigma wrapped in a riddle, smothered in Taco Bell mild sauce. At this time last week I was in Vegas making my 8th trip to the ATM in 24 hours. This week I'm in Death Valley, making my 8th trip to the ATM in 24 hours. Two weeks ago I was saying to sell D'Andre Swift and buy Miles Sanders. This week Colonel Miles Sanders is on crutches, frying up chicken and I'm about to tell you D'Andre Swift is a great buy. What a difference a couple weeks time can make. As for Swift, I'd look to take advantage of possible recency bias and bye-week desperation. He's coming off a game where he totaled just 51 yards on 17 touches and now the Lions head into their bye This is the time of season where fantasy teams with losing records can't afford to be patient through bye weeks, meaning bargains can be had by fantasy teams with winning records. Hopefully that's you! Swift likely isn't going to handle 15+ carries often, but his volume in the Detroit passing game gives him a solid floor in any type of PPR league and he's already shown RB1 upside. If you can weather his upcoming bye week, toss an offer out there and see what happens. Anyway, here's some more players to buy or sell this week in fantasy football:

I dunno about you, but Halloween is more like a season for me. When we think about those people who leave their winter holiday ornaments up until April, I try to do them one better by leaving out my Halloween decorations until May. It's kind of like my fantasy football approach: when everybody wants immediate results, I'm out here thinking long term. And by long term, I'm finally celebrating any faith I had in Kevin White finally coming to fruition. Or is it Mike White that I'm celebrating? I get confused at my old age. Quickly, to the recap!
