  • The Dolphins will have a lot of decisions to make this off-season as they currently sit $15 million dollars over the cap. There is some buzz that the Dolphins will look to explore the QB landscape as Tua Tagovailoa’s health continues to be an ongoing issue. However, their cap situation will most likely force them to push that endeavor off until 2024.
  • One of the biggest questions that could impact fantasy football is who will emerge as the RB1 in Miami. Head Coach Mike McDaniel has already shown flashes of brilliance as a play-caller, and whoever gets the nod to be the top option for the Dolphins could be fantasy star in 2023.

  • The Bills are in rough shape when it comes to the cap, as they currently are $20 million over heading into the off-season. This could limit the Bills’ ability to retool their skill position group. That most likely means James Cook, Gabriel Davis, and Isaiah McKenzie could find themselves back on the fantasy radar next season.

Team: New England Patriots
2023 Cap Space: $30.3 million under
Notable Free Agents:

Player Position 2023 Snaps Age Fantasy Points
Jakobi Meyers WR 65.6% 27 182.2

James Ferentz LG 25.6% 34
Damien Harris RB 22.6% 26 91
Marcus Cannon RT 19.8% 35
  • The Patriots are in pretty group shape as they currently have $30 million in cap space and Mac Jones on his rookie deal. Key contributors Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor, and Damien Harris could be on the move. These potential departures, along with their cap space, could lead to them making a splash this off-season, like trading for DeAndre Hopkins and/or Brandin Cooks.
  • Finally, if Damien Harris were to walk this year, all we can say is wheels up on Rhamondre Stevenson next season.

  • The Jets enter this off-season right at the cap but will most likely have to create space as they try to acquire one the of top quarterbacks on the market. Currently, they are in the process of courting Aaron Rodgers. Acquiring Rodgers will make it tough to retain some of their key offensive linemen, but hey at least they will have a quarterback.
