  • Player: RJ Harvey
  • Team: Denver Broncos
  • Dynasty Rookie Rank: Overall 10 | RB5

Fantasy Impact: I am bullish on the shifty RB out of UCF. While an older back at 24, Harvey enters a Broncos running back room with a vast opportunity as the third-highest pick in Sean Payton’s head coaching career. Payton has a successful history of drafting RBs, Reggie Bush, Mark Engram, and Alvin Kamara, within the top 70 picks. Javonte Williams, who signed with Dallas this offseason, vacates 191 touches in Denver’s promising offense while Jaleel McLaughlin maintains his third-down/change-of-pace role. I foresee a Bucky Irving-type rookie campaign for Harvey.

  • Player: Matthew Golden
  • Team: Green Bay Packers
  • Dynasty Rookie Rank: Overall 14 | WR4

Fantasy Impact: The highest WR drafted by Pack since 2002, Golden joins a Green Bay offense seeking healthy and consistent WR play. The former Longhorn has the talent, evident by his 987 yards and nine TDs operating as UT’s WR1 for Quinn Ewers. He has a clear path to be the future WR1 for QB Jordan Love. The Packers will have to score points to stay competitive in the NFC North against three high-octane offenses. Christian Watson will be out for a good portion of the 2025 season, so Golden will have a chance to shine early.

  • Player: Colston Loveland
  • Team: Chicago Bears
  • Dynasty Rookie Rank: Overall 9 | TE1

Fantasy Impact: Guess who Ben Johnson’s first draft pick was as Bears’ new head coach was? It was a TE at the 10th overall selection and by many expert opinions, the second-best TE in this draft. Johnson picked Loveland over the consensus number one TE, Tyler Warren. That should tell you something. Consider the success of Sam LaPorta’s rookie season (10 TDs) in Detroit and the fact that Johnson compared Loveland with LaPorta bodes well for his future fantasy contributions.
