With RazzBowl8 right around the corner and online/slow #SFB16 moving forward, I think it is time to look at later round WRs. It feels right to discuss players that will ultimately round out your roster depth while covering bye weeks with the change of cracking your weekly starting lineup at some point not to mention filling in when the inevitable injury bug bites.  It is easy to tout Ja’Marr Chase, Puka Nacua and other elite WR talents, but we all need a full, well-rounded roster to make it to the promised land.  For ‘Late-r  Round’ names, I will be looking at players available in the double-digit rounds based on current ADP.

Below, you will find some under the radar, later round WR names you should consider as depth and bye-week coverage during your roster construction whether that be for your RazzBowl8 or #SFB16 squads, your home league, or any other draft you are participating in. If you are like me, and my guys over at @RazzballNFL (Home – Razzball Fantasy Football), you are geeked about draft season, so comment with the picks you started with in #SFB16, picks others made too early, players that slipped, and your general thoughts on how your draft is progressing.  Is it going to plan or did that blow up in the first couple rounds?  Are you on brand or do you not recognize your current/early build?

We are also adding a Razzball G-League and a Razzball Listeners League for those folks that are long-time readers and followers that we often see comment on our articles and/or those that pop into our podcasts, especially the Sunday Morning Start-Sit show during the regular season.  If interested in one of the leagues, please drop me a note at this article and we can discuss your future in those leagues.

My Late-r Round WRs

  • Player: Romeo Doubs
  • Team: New England Patriots
  • Current (early) ADP: WR 51, Overall 120

Before anyone screams at me for starting with a former Packers WR, please know the key word is ‘former’ not ‘Packers’.  With newly acquired AJ Brown garnering most of the attention from opposing defenses and the hefty contract awarded to Doubs, I look for him to be a true WR2 this season.  He has an accurate, pass-happy QB able to get him the ball.  Doubs will need to keep the concussion issues to a minimum (keep wearing the fat head helmet, please) and stay on the field to be of value.  I think this is the year he presents a minor breakout for fantasy.  I believe he will set career highs in receptions and yards in 2026.  Nice value at the end of Round 10 in my book.

  • Player: Rashid Shaheed
  • Team: Seattle Seahawks
  • Current (early) ADP: WR57, Overall 136

Name the WR2 in Seattle without forcing the name Cooper Kupp out of your mouth.  We all know now that Kupp is not the same player.  Additionally, we know JSN is a legit WR1 that may command double-teams from opposing defenses.  Seattle made a trade for Shaheed in 2025, so he is going to have every opportunity to shine in rainy Seattle.  Consider that the Seahawks allowed KWIII to walk placing the offense on the right arm of Sam Darnold.  The running game will be secondary with no true RB1 on the roster, so I look for Shaheed to improve on his prior numbers.

  • Player: Jalen McMillan
  • Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Current (early) ADP: WR58, Overall 142

If you watched McMillan play when the Bucs had the litany of injuries at the WR position, you know the kid can ball.  The key here is the Bucs employing three WR sets thus placing McMillan on the field more.  Also, Chris Godwin is coming off a season in which he was clearly hampered by the nasty leg injury suffered in 2024, so he might not be on the field as often offering more opportunities for McMillan.  All will have to go right for McMillan in Tampa, but with a pick in late Round 12, I think you can take a swing here.

  • Player: Juaun Jennings
  • Team: Minnesota Vikings
  • Current (early) ADP: WR61, Overall 156

There are three glaring questions for the Vikings: (1) Who is starting at QB; (2) Which WR does the HC/OC feel is the better option, Jennings or Addison and (3) Can Jennings stop with the WR diva crap and just play ball?  If the chosen QB plays well…please let it be Kyler, and if Jennings get more run than Addison, and if Jennings just balls, then you have a steal in Round 13.  If any of the three questions goes against Jennings (McCarthy starting, Addison as firm WR2, Jennings complains about money or playing time), then you cut him and add a waiver flier.

Let me know where you think I am right and wrong with the list of ‘Later Round WRs’ and comment with some of your favorites.  Also, follow me @stiles08 on Twitter/X and send questions comments at the bottom of this article.  Make sure you jump around the Razzball site for all your fantasy football needs.

I find myself in a unique situation that I wasn’t seeking but clearly wasn’t avoiding. In a keeper league I ended up with Chase and Higgins plus Lamb and Pickens as my 4 WRs. Would you attempt to diversify if you were me, or would you lean into this situation and try to obtain Burrow and Dak?
My current QB’s are Dak and Herbert, yes it’s superflex, so I might be able to pull this off. I just don’t know if I want to, or if I feel good about having so much invested in two teams.
Appreciate any advice you can lend me on my champagne problem.

      Foxman,

I think you hold those four WRs and hold the two QBs unless you feel the need to deal Herbert for Burrow. I would be just fine with Burrow or Herbert to be honest.

    Appreciate you taking the time.
Great article here, totally agree on McMillan. I also really like Kirk and Nailor around the same price. Nailor the most, because he got paid and is better than perceived. He was buried in Minnesota, but now he found a WR room where he can shine. Worth the price, IMO

Appreciate the kind words. I love the interaction. Were you aware we’re running four Razzball reader/listener leagues? Let me know if you’d like to be considered for one.

I agree with Kirk and even more so Nailor. My gut says Diggs will end up in Vegas as WR1 with Nailor settling in as the WR2.

    Matt,
I was not aware. I always come to the site for baseball, but pop over to catch your stuff. You have a different perspective than I do, which really helps me with my blind spots/bias.
I’m certainly interesting in joining a league. Please add me into consideration. Thanks.
