You Can’t Handle the Truth

  • Devonta Freeman saw 59% of the snaps for the Ravens in week 9. That’s the 2nd highest snap rate of any Ravens RB so far this season.
  • Despite his abysmal fantasy production this season, Robby Anderson lead the Panthers WRs in snaps.
  • Joe Mixon got 64% of the Bengals snaps. This was Samaje Perine’s highest snap rate (34%) when Mixon has been healthy.
  • Nick Chubb sat around his usual 56% area in week 9.
  • With the exception of week 1 (tied) and week 4 (1 snap difference), Melvin Gordon III has lead the Broncos backfield in snaps every week.
  • After ceding top snap WR to Tim Patrick last week, Courtland Sutton lead the Broncos in week 9 with 84%.
  • After a 1 week hiatus, David Johnson reclaimed the #1 RB in Houston, for whatever that may be worth.
  • Nyheim Hines saw the 2nd highest % of snaps he’s had this season with 46%.
  • After seeing 72% of snaps in week 8 for the Jags, Dan Arnold dropped to 57% in week 9. He’s getting time in line off the line, but we’ll have to see if his snap rate is closer to 50% or 70%.
  • I wouldn’t recommend starting a Chiefs WR2, but if you must, it’s been Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle who have seen the 2nd and 3rd most snaps over the last couple weeks.
  • All 3 Chargers TEs split snaps in week 9 fairly evenly, and it was actually Stephen Anderson that lead the way. Use Parham or Cook at your own risk with snaps being equally divvied up.
  • Over the last 3 weeks, the Rams trio of WRs are pretty much on the field for the same amount of snaps (Kupp and Woods at 199 and Jefferson at 192).
  • With Henry Ruggs no longer going to be a part of the Raiders WRs, it was Zay Jones (96%), Bryan Edwards (93%), and Hunter Renfrow (65%) that took the snaps.
  • Myles Gaskin saw a season high 73% of the snaps. The Gaskin has held and provided fantasy teams with steady, even if unspectacular, production.
  • For the first time in 4 games, Damien Harris failed to lead the Pats RBs in snaps. In week 9, it was Brandon Bolden that took the honor.
  • Alvin Kamara (68% and 70%) has seen his 2 lowest snap rates of the season since the addition of Mark Ingram.
  • After back to back weeks above 70% snap rates, Michael Carter fell back to 59% in week 9.
  • I don’t understand the Eagles either. Kenneth Gainwell down to 19% this week with Jordan Howard getting 40% and Boston Scott 44%. Quez Watkins lead all WRs in snaps at 96%. About the only thing that made sense was Goedert playing 93%.
  • Pat Freiermuth has seen 81% and 71% of the snaps in the last 2 weeks for the Steelers.
  • For back to back weeks, Brandon Aiyuk has lead the 49ers WRs in snaps.

We Back (from injury) Baby

  • With Chase Edmonds going down, it was James Conner (77%) that saw the bulk of the work with Eno Benjamin (24%) spelling him.
  • Without DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green, Christian Kirk lead the Cardinals in snaps at 96%. Rondale Moore came in second with 81% and Antoine Wesley was third at 77%.
  • Despite Olamide Zaccheaus’s big day, he was a distant 3rd in snaps among Falcons WRs with no Calvin Ridley.
  • Zack Moss left the game in week 9 early and Devin Singletary got 72% of the snaps in his absence.
  • It was all Tommy Sweeney without Dawson Knox available for the Bills in week 9.
  • In his return from injury, CMC got 49% of the snaps and Ameer Abdullah was 2nd with 37%.
  • David Montgomery got 85% of the snaps in week 9 as he returned from injury.
  • With ‘Zeke dealing with a contusion, he played 55% to Tony Pollard’s 40%.
  • As Amari Cooper continues to deal with his hamstring, he played only 60% of the snaps in week 9, and it was actually Cedrick Wilson that lead the WRs in snaps for the Cowboys.
  • With everyone in the GB WR corps as healthy as they’ve been in weeks, it was Davante Adams (92%) and Randall Cobb (84%) that lead the way with MVS (54%) and Randall Cobb (52%) next in line.
  • With the exception of his injury weeks, Dalvin Cook has seen over 70% of the snaps each game.
  • Tre’Quan Smith has seen his snap rate climb each week and finally lead the Saints in snaps in week 9, passing Marquez Callaway.
  • With no Sterling Shepard, Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, and Kadarius Toney had exactly the same amount of snaps in week 9.
  • With Derrick Henry out, Jeremy McNichols played 45%, Adrian Peterson played 33% and D’onta Foreman got 21%.Â
