Top Fantasy Need for Each AFC Team

This article lists the top positional need(s) for each AFC team as it relates to fantasy football in 2026.

• Baltimore Ravens
  • Wide Receiver
    • Zay Flowers surprised as the WR7 on the season, but Baltimore has nobody other than him. They’ll most likely lose Isaiah Likely as well. 
    • Possible fits: Rashid Shaheed, Jauan Jennings, Alec Pierce
• Buffalo Bills
  • Wide Receiver
    • Kahlil Shakir is solid, but more options would really help Josh Allen.
    • Possible fits: Alec Pierce, Marquise Brown, AJ Brown
• Cincinnati Bengals
  • Running Back and Tight End
    • Chase Brown was really productive in the second half last season. Nobody in fantasy wants him to have competition, but the Bengals should. They also need a steady tight end. 
    • Possible fits: Najee Harris, Isiah Pacheco / Chig Okonkwo, Tyler Higbee
• Cleveland Browns
  • Running Back and Wide Receiver
    • The Browns need it all, but they have a quarterback (whomever they choose) and Harold Fannin Jr. might be their best offensive player.
    • Possible fits: Rachaad White, Brian Robinson / Romeo Doubs, Christian Kirk
• Denver Broncos
  • Running Back and Wide Receiver 
    • RJ Harvey is awesome, but Sean Payton wants a RBBC. DEN could also use another reliable receiver. 
    • Possible fits: Brian Robinson, Rico Dowdle / Tyreek Hill, Alec Pierce
• Houston Texans
  • Running Back and Wide Receiver
    • Houston has plenty of both positions, but could use depth at both as well. 
    • Possible fits: Isiah Pacheco, Kenneth Gainwell / Romeo Doubs, Keenan Allen
• Indianapolis Colts
  • Quarterback(?) and Wide Receiver
    • Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson will be the starter, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Colts bring in another vet to compete. They also need another receiver with Alec Pierce hitting free agency.
    • Possible fits: Joe Flacco, Marcus Mariota / Marquise Brown, Christian Kirk
• Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Running Back(?)
    • The Jags are stacked, but with Travis Etienne Jr. hitting free agency, they could use veteran depth.
    • Possible fits: Brian Robinson, Najee Harris, Isiah Pacheco
• Kansas City Chiefs
  • Running Back and Wide Receiver
    • Patrick Mahomes will return eventually and I think Travis Kelce plays one more season. Both KC RBs are free agents as well as Marquise Brown. They need depth regardless. 
    • Possible fits: Travis Etienne, Nick Chubb / Tyreek Hill, Romeo Doubs
• Las Vegas Raiders
  • Wide Receiver
    • The Raiders need pass catchers other than Brock Bowers.
    • Possible fits: Jauan Jennings, Wan’dale Robinson, Christian Kirk
• Los Angeles Chargers
  • Running Back and Wide Receiver Depth
    • The Chargers have weapons, but could use depth due to their annual injury bug. 
    • Possible fits: Isiah Pacheco, Michael Carter / Marquise Brown, Christian Kirk
• Miami Dolphins
  • Wide Receivers and Tight End
    • The Dolphins need help outside of Jaylen Waddle.
    • Possible fits: Romeo Doubs, Marquise Brown / Tyler Higbee
• New England Patriots
  • Wide Receiver
    • Let’s get Drake Maye some more weapons.
    • Possible fits: AJ Brown, Romeo Doubs, Tyreek Hill
• New York Jets
  • Quarterback, Wide Receiver and Tight End
    • Breece Hall will be franchise tagged and remain a Jet (unfortunately) 
    • Possible fits: Russell Wilson, Marcus Mariota / Christian Kirk, Marquise Brown / Tyler Higbee
• Pittsburgh Steelers
  • All Positions (except maybe Running Back)
    • If Aaron Rodgers leaves PIT, they’ll need help everywhere. 
    • Possible fits: Joe Flacco, Malik Willis / Wan’dale Robinson, Romeo Doubs / Chig Okonkwo
• Tennessee Titans
  • Oof. They could and should add at every position. Seriously.
    • Cam Ward needs help; everywhere. 
    • Possible fits: Russell Wilson / Isiah Pacheco, Jeremy McNichols / Wan’dale Robinson, Keenan Allen / Tyler Higbee
