Do you remember how amazing Bo Jackson was? He was dominant, the next big thing, and then… his knee exploded and he never recovered. Career over before it truly ever got off the ground. That’s sort of what this fantasy season is starting to feel like.

Two weeks into the year and it’s already survival of the fittest. Most everyone is dealing with the same stuff: at least a dozen running backs are hurt (highlighted this week by Adrian Peterson’s knee injury), Julio Jones and Brandon Marshall are banged up, and names like Rodgers, Gurley, and Beckham are performing woefully below expectations. So, to lighten the mood from this misery, we bring you the latest two episodes of The Dream League…

Dream League Episode 3: If at First You Don’t Succeed “Try Again”

The Dream League is heading into Week 2 and we know… it’s been a long time and we shouldn’t have left you without a dope episode to click to. A lot has happened since you last saw us. We actually held a draft for one thing, in which half the league was losing internet connection, one owner was making picks in between serving customers in a sub sandwich line, and our commish was busy entertaining the ladies while vacationing at a friend’s lake house. (You’ll have to catch that during the offseason when we release our “Razzball Dream League: The Lost Episodes”.) Suffice it to say, it’s only a 10 team league, so just about everyone ended up with a roster they were happy with. Except for Mauler who immediately claimed he had an accidental pick, setting up his string of excuses to use when he doesn’t win this year.

Anyway, week one is in the books and as you can see from the latest episode, it was a bit of a mixed bag. When the league high score is set by a Patriots homer getting drunk off Franzia in his garage, you know it was an odd week. Our youngest member – the incomparable Dwazy – had the lowest score, but it’s not surprising when you consider he probably had homework to do outside of his duties as a kicker/punter/tuba player under the Friday night lights.

Watch the episode. You won’t regret it.

Dream League Episode 4: Moe’s Knows

In this week’s episode, Justin Mason celebrates into the wee hours of the morning after a win puts him at 2-0 and atop the league. Meanwhile, Dwazy slips to 0-2 mostly because, for reasons we don’t understand, he has kept Jamaal Charles in his lineup and Stefon Diggs on his bench. This week also saw the fall from grace of Ralph Lifshitz after suffering defeat at the hands of his arch nemesis, The Lord, Tehol Beddict. Still, Ralph spends time sharing valuable knowledge about “Pecker Checkers” all in episode four of The Dream League. Enjoy…
