Defensive Slot vs. Wide PPG Allowed

Last Updated: January 27th, 2023

The chart below breaks down how many fantasy points a defense allows to wide receivers from the slot vs. out wide and the percentage of the overall production that goes to the middle of the field vs. the perimeter. This data can help you take the next step in figuring out which players to start each week based on where most of their production comes from during the season.

This analysis only counts fantasy points that a wide receiver generates in the receiving game. Any rushing and passing fantasy points have been excluded. Some screen pass data was removed from the sample to get a true PPG allowed via the slot vs. out wide, but it is reflected in the total points. This explains why the totals don’t equal 100%.

Fantasy PPG allowed data from Weeks 1-18.
