We’re two weeks into the NFL season, and things keep getting weirder. Joe Burrow hasn’t logged a QB1 tier performance, Patrick Mahomes was the QB11 in Week 2, and Baker Mayfield has looked like an all-pro quarterback in 2023. Who has increased their dynasty trade value, and which players should you be selling ASAP ahead of the season?

Dynasty Trade Values + Week 2 Takeaways

Puka MANIA

Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua’s early performance is turning heads. With 25 catches and 266 receiving yards on 35 targets in his first two games, its’ clear why. Rams WR Cooper Kupp sidelined until at least Week 5 and possibly longer. With that, Nacua’s stock in dynasty fantasy football is taking off like a rocket ship. What is his current dynasty trade value, and is the legend of Puka sustainable throughout the 2023 season and beyond?

Fields of Pain

Justin Fields might be on the verge of a concerning descent in dynasty rankings after a lackluster start to the season. Going from QB15 in Week 1 to QB20 in Week 2, he’s amassed 427 yards, two TDs, and three INTs, looking noticeably frazzled and struggling to read the field. His recent declaration to simplify his approach and just “play ball” could inspire confidence in his ability to rebound. Still, the question remains: is it time to hit the panic button and sell Fields before his dynasty trade value plummets, or should managers remain optimistic that this too shall pass?

Reed Time in Green Bay?

Jayden Reed has emerged as a standout performer in Green Bay, showcasing his value with an impressive seven catches and two touchdowns on eight targets last week in the absence of WR Christian Watson. Leading the team in targets (13) and sharing the lead in catches (6) and receiving TDs (2), he’s proving to be a vital asset for this young team in need of explosive plays. Although not known for deep threats, Reed’s middle-of-the-field presence aligns perfectly with Jordan Love’s needs. Will he keep the momentum going with the return of Watson in week 3, or will he fade away?

Would You Like A Side Of Bacon With Your Watson? Cause He’s TOAST

Deshaun Watson’s performance on Monday left many wondering if it’s time to hit the panic button. He struggled, turning the ball over three times and incurring two costly 15-yard facemask penalties in the second half. With a lackluster 22/40 for 235 yards and just one TD, his accuracy and decision-making were problematic throughout the loss to the Steelers. While his stats may look better than his actual play, the loss of Nick Chubb has further clouded his outlook. Should you hold out for a potential bump in his dynasty trade value? Or is it time to jump off the Deshaun Watson ship?
