Rome Odunze is a top 10 receiver?? What are you smoking??
New Bears OC Shane Waldron was the OC last season for the Seahawks who had a very similar situation with Metcalf, Lockett and JSN. JSN was the WR3 in that offense and finished outside the Top 50 WRs in PPR PPG. Based on preseason usage Allen/Moore should lead the team in snaps. Either way, none of the Seahawks WRs finished inside the Top 20 in PPR PPG. This is mostly because Waldron uses more 2 TE sets than the average OC. This shouldn’t change with Kmet and Everett on the roster.
It’s important to note that the Seahawks WRs had this production while the team threw for 4200 yards and 23 TDs. Vegas lines have Caleb Williams at 3500 yards and 23.5 TDs. Some of the sharpest minds in the industry are telling us that the pie might be smaller for the Bears in 2024 vs. the 2023 Seahawks.
So with all this competition and a rookie QB, all the Bears weapons might underperform unless there is an injury to someone notable. That’s my drug of choice.
