I mean I’m no Grey’s Anatomy expert. Wait, actually I am! Remember that time Meredith Grey un-died for the sixth time after being saved by her third surprise half-sister? I suppose after watching 15 seasons of a medical drama, I’m probably an expert on health issues, such as the [checks notes] ulnar collateral ligament. Gross! Why did I ever agree to do the injury report if I can’t even spell out body parts? OK, EWB, time to soldier through, just like Meredith’s biological sister when she…oh! I almost spoiled McSteamy for you! So, instead of waxing poetic about my favorite soap opera / medical drama, let’s jump in to the stuff you’re actually here for: discussions of frayed elbow ligaments.
Please, blog, may I have some more?If you have spent any time reading this column, you know that it has been a tough year for the NFL’s Thursday Night Football. Luckily, that all changed this week thanks in part to the uber-talented rosters of the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers going head-to-head. There’s not much that gets a football fan’s blood boiling more than a querterback showdown of Marcus Mariota and PJ Walker, and running back rooms fronted by Cordarrelle Patterson and D’Onta Foreman. Add in five field goals in four quarters and you’ve got yourself an instant classic on primetime TV. Now, this wasn’t the worst game of the season, not by any stretch of the imaginiation. But top fantasy options like Patterson (2.5 half-PPR points), Kyle Pitts (3.8 points) and DJ Moore (4.9 points) all crapped the bed, while Foreman (19.0 points), Laviska Shenault (13.4 points) and Drake London (12.3 points) shined to varying degrees. Safe to say, this was not a joyous day for most fantasy owners. Memes portraying Mariota as a trash can in a squad car have surfaced, which is honestly an insult to garbage disposal devices everywhere. This game was really between the Splatlanta Fartcons and the Terdalina Pantnerds. And yes, that is really the best I could come up with. It’s clearly time for some deep introspection.
Please, blog, may I have some more? This DFS Flash article goes position by position, giving you my favorite pay up option and my favorite pay down or dart throw option at each position to help you build out a winning DFS lineup. I use DraftKings pricing as a point of reference to seek out some values, and the goal is to help you “double up” in a 50/50 cash game with solid plays.
Please, blog, may I have some more? Each week we’ll take a look at the top trade targets for each position. Trade targets can be any player at any time throughout the season. The objective (when possible) is to “buy low” and “sell high,” acquiring and getting rid of players as they are hitting their peak or before they lose their value. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? Before the fantasy football season starts, we all think we know everything, right? We’ve seen all of the expert rankings – including our very own Razzball rankings – and we’ve made our own personal determinations based on personnel, coaching staffs, analytics and those magical gut feelings that lead us to the Promised Land. We’re so […]

Please, blog, may I have some more? What are air yards, you say? The name kind of gives it away, doesn’t it? Air yards, irreverently discussed in this air yards primer, matter because we actually get some context of how much a quarterback WANTED to get their receiver the ball, not just how often the receiver could catch it. It’s a stat […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Week 9 is in the books, and while we didn’t see the same number of high-scoring players as last week, we saw one who probably won’t be matched for a long time. Joe Mixon scored a whopping 54 fantasy points (PPR), which included 153 yards and four TDs on the ground. He also “chipped in” […]

Please, blog, may I have some more? We’ve crossed over the halfway point in the NFL season. Hopefully, you’re still competing to get into your fantasy league’s playoffs. But, even if that’s the case, you might not know who to start in your lineups. Week 10 Fantasy Football Starts/Sits. Lucky for you, I got you. Here are my Week 10 Starts and […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Several key factors went into these rankings outside of injuries and players changing teams. We adjusted each player’s PPG based on their early season matchups and their rest of season strength of schedule (SOS). Additional adjustments were made, but for the most part, injuries and SOS helped us get to these top 150 PPR […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?A quick recap of week 9: I was in Vegas this week with my team of chimps. Those chimps have a serious gambling problem. It was tough watching the Bills lose to the Jets, Chip had his entire life savings on the Bills’ moneyline. Now the broke chimps are more motivated than ever to put […]
