Well, it’s been quite the adventurous couple days since we last connected, right? Odell Beckham Jr. is on the Rams after a lengthy battle of “Who could care less.” As fortune would have it, our dear Bobby Trees tore his ACL the next day, leaving him out for the rest of the season and opening targets for OdB. You may ask right now, “What can Razzball do for me in these trying times?” Let’s jump into the articles, and if you still have questions, drop them down in the comments!

The goal of this article is to find WRs to fade and buy based on how many fantasy points their opponent allows in the slot vs. out wide. In today’s article we will review the key out wide matchups for week 10. To keep up with the latest defensive trends we updated the analysis to only include the last 5 weeks.

The below chart breaks down where each team allows their fantasy points to WRs and is listed from the most to the least amount of fantasy points allowed out wide over the past 5 weeks.

Welcome to Week 10, ladies and gentlemen.

We’ve reached a real impasse here over the halfway mark of the NFL season. Major stars are down, breakout players are rolling, and Mike White is a starting quarterback in the NFL. The draft wouldn’t be further behind us and our expectations have been subverted every step of the way. This is where winners are made and losers are born.

Tuesday’s gone with the wind. And we’re coming up hard on Sunday morning.

Anyway! The teams on bye this week are the Bears, Giants, Bengals, and Texans. See ya next week!

Is it just me, or do these Thursday Night Football games get worse and worse every week? We didn’t expect there to be fireworks in this one, especially since Miami came into the game 2-7 and starting a backup quarterback against the 6-2 AFC North leading Ravens. This game was a defensive battle for three quarters with the most exciting play of the game being an offensive lineman touchdown that didn’t count. At the end of the night, the Dolphins surprised everybody by holding the Ravens in check and pulling out a 22-10 upset win.

“But Donkey Teeth, didn’t you just provide us with very in-depth and meticulously curated positional rest of season rankings for 2021 fantasy football, week 10, only two days ago?” Why yes, dear reader, and thank you for noticing. This is not an error, nor an oversight. It was all very carefully thought out during my recent peyote ceremony with some local natives. While I do get the positional rest of season rankings to the press promptly each and every Tuesday, prior to waivers and FAAB, I also feel it’s important to provide more context later in the week to assist in trade negotiations and other important roster decisions. If you desperately need a running back and are rostering all of Keenan Allen, D.J. Moore and Diontae Johnson then my positional breakdown doesn’t help you to construct the perfectly reasonable trade offer for Darrell Henderson, James Robinson or Joe Mixon. Now we also have the overall rankings table below to view positional valuations relative to other positions, while still having the option to sort by individual positions. The best of both worlds, which I tasted during that peyote trip. And over the past two days, I’ve also taken more time to refine these rankings after digesting more of the week one action and listening to some very valuable community feedback from you intelligent readers. The positional rankings from earlier in the week also delve a bit deeper into the rankings compared to this overall top 150 provided below. Anyway, here’s my sortable rest of season rankings for half PPR 2021 fantasy football:

Nine weeks down, nine to go! The season is absolutely flying by, and I hope that 9 weeks from now, you’re all hoisting trophies as the champion of your leagues. We’ve still got work to do though, and no matter your record, you always need to keep an eye on the waiver wire. Week 10 sees four teams on a bye, including the Bears, Bengals, Giants, and Texans. If you’re looking to replace Roquan Smith, Jessie Bates, Leonard Williams, or some Texan (Kamu Grugier-Hill? Jonathan Greenard?) then I’m here to help. Let take a look at some worthy pickups this week.

Air Yards are the Gordon Ramsey of fantasy receiving stats. They tell us exactly what was right and clearly what was wrong with how a receiver performed in a given week. Often, it’s not easy to hear. But you as a fantasy manager need to pay attention to the under-the-hood numbers from your receivers instead of just blindly trusting the box score results, you donkey.

Each week, this column will dissect air yards for actionable info in the weeks to come. For Week 10, we will do a quick analysis of the list of the 61 wide receivers who finished last week with at least 30 air yards.

Finally, we’ve made it a metric week in your fantasy football season! Who has 1 kilowins so far? Or I suppose a deciwin? A microwin is all I can hope for…maybe read that sentence back again. Regardless of your system of measurement, we’re stuck in the trenches of fantasy football: the teams that can’t get out to see daylight, the teams that are awaiting reinforcements, the teams that decided to dig a new path forward to see if they can gain any ground on the opposition. And you wondered if sports had any relationship to the armed forces, didn’t ya? Let’s jump into the fray and see if we can’t get a megawin for your team this week.

Each week I’ll be spending countless hours flipping coins in order to determine an order for my weekly rankings which will be published bright and early each Wednesday morning. It’s an elaborate round-robin coinflipping system for each position. Wide receivers alone take me a full Monday worth of coin flips. And I’m currently in the process of filing for workers comp due to carpal tunnel. But it’s well worth it, knowing that you, the loyal Razzball reader, appreciate my pain and sweat. Just so you know you can trust me, here’s how my coin flipping system stacked up against all of the other 149 industry analysts competing against me in the 2020 Fantasy Pros Weekly Ranking Competition:

Anyway, here’s my week 10 rankings for half PPR 2021 fantasy football that will be frequently updated by coin flip up until kickoff:
