In my opinion, your fantasy football success hinges on the success of your running backs this year. Rudy projects about 50 receivers to have over 90 targets, which is enough WR to fill a standard 12-team league almost 5 men deep (for more on this, read my analysis/therapist book, The Man Inside Me). So, there’s about 50 WR who will score, on average in a PPR league, about 10 points/game or more. Meanwhile, there are 30 such RBs who are projected to score 10 points/per game in PPR scoring, meaning 2.5 RB per team. The lowest ADP of these running backs is Duke Johnson. I’ll tell you why you should take a swing with the Texans’ backup back, who could very well be the player who saves your fantasy playoff run in 2020.

The innovation machine never stops here at Razzball. Except for that one time when I tried to use it to heat up some leftover pizza. What a disaster that was! 2020 Shadow Coverage Report: Carolina Panthers

In 2019 D.J. Moore somehow avoided multiple match-ups vs. shadow corners. In week 3 the Panthers faced the Arizona Cardinals while Patrick Peterson was on suspension. In Week 5 the Panthers played against the Jaguars with no Jalen Ramsey. In week 12 the Saints were without Marshon Lattimore and in Week 17 Lattimore played limited snaps as the Saints had their playoff seed sealed up. Even young cornerback Carlton Davis was yet to be used in shadow coverage as the Panthers faced the Buccaneers both times early in 2019.

Fantasy Football Podcast: QB Rankings For Re-Draft

How could the guys top Ryan McDowell, Andy Behrens, Danny Kelly, reigning RazzBowl champion Mike Beers (yes, he insisted that be his title)? Well, we couldn’t. So, it’s just the OGs. The original guys, that’s what that stands for, right? Anyway, B_Don reviewed Donkey Teeth’s QB Rankings and came prepared with questions. 

We start at the top with Lamar Jackson vs. Patrick Mahomes debate. Not the way I would’ve expected each of us to go on this one, but I’m in on Lamar. DT makes his bold call with Kyler coming in at 3, and his love of Josh Allen knows no bounds as the Buffalo QB comes in at 6.

Both of us are down on Dak Prescott after a breakout 2020 season. Of course, Donkey Teeth loves the ‘stache, just can’t help himself. We wrap by talking about some veteran QBs that DT has pushed behind rookie, Joe Burrow.

RazzBowl Draft Recap: Johnson Escapes My Grasp

Last year was the debut of the RazzBowl and it was objectively the best thing that happened in 2019. Like any good host, I took it easy on all of our industry guests (and a few lucky fans), bowing out in the first round of the year one playoffs. I’m not saying I threw the contest, but I could have won and instead I let Mike Beers of RotoViz win. Oh, that’s the exact definition of throwing it? Well, now the gloves are coming off in year two—at least until I have to go out to the grocery store. Legalized gambling is spreading across the country, and advice is not hard to find. However, how many of these virtuosos allow you a glance behind their curtain?

I am no Oz. My gambling advice isn’t just to pick from behind a giant projection of my ugly face. Those picks arrive through an intricate power rankings system. Using the strength of schedule, offseason changes, offensive prowess, and historical data against the spread, I derive my odds and compare them to offered lines to find the best bets each week.

Mike Evans has 8 shadow corner match-ups heading into this season with 7 of them coming against tier 1 cornerbacks. This includes a daunting early season schedule that includes 3 shadow coverage match-ups which could lead Evans to a less desirable start for your fantasy team. That being said things do open up for Evans after week 4 including a very favorable fantasy playoff schedule. In the 14th round, with the 166th Overall pick in the #Razzbowl League 13 Draft, “Team 3 Barry” selects, JIMMY GAROPPOLO! With an ADP of 141.76 according to NFFC, I was more than happy to take Jimmy G as my QB2 to pair with Kyler Murray. That QB duo gives me the classic “Floor/Ceiling” pairing that you like to have in a format like the “better ball” format of the Razzbowl. A lot of people are very low on Jimmy coming into this year’s fantasy draft season, but I believe that he will prove the doubters wrong and return a solid value on your investment

Near and dear to my Emergency Department nurse heart are charities who care for the families of ill children. Perhaps no organization does this better than the Ronald McDonald House. Since 1974, RMH has provided a place to stay for the family members of hospitalized children across the globe. A total of 7,200 beds are available for those in need, saving over $700 million in hotel costs. This special nonprofit ensures parents safe places to rest, shower, and clean their clothes within proximity of their children’s medical center.

In 2014, then San Diego Chargers quarterback, Philip Rivers, partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego to raise funds for his local chapter. Rivers, who has his share and then some children (eight at last count), used his throwing arm to help a lot of families out. He used passing yards as a marker for charitable donations. At just under $25 per passing yard, Philip easily topped his donation goal of $100,000 as he passed for 4,286 yards.
