This is not just a normal Monday morning. Today is the start of the ninth annual Scott Fish Bowl, better known as #sfb9 on twitter. If you aren’t familiar with SFB9, it is a giant contest consisting of 1,500 competitors picked by Scott Fish out of a pool of 12,000 applicants and it contains a very unique scoring system that favors tight ends and quarterbacks. Razzball has quite the presence in this year’s competition with 6 of our writers/projectors receiving spots. So good luck to Rudy Gamble, B-Don, Donkey Teeth, Nic Romero, Rotowan. It would feel weird to wish myself good luck, but yes, I am competing and hoping for excellent results.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Offensive lines won’t exactly make or break fantasy seasons for players; it’s always possible for teams to produce on offense even with a sub-par group up front. However, it’s important to take note of which units have succeeded and which have failed in helping keep their QB’s clean, and create gaps for running backs to accelerate through.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Kliff Kingsbury’s offense will feature elite pass volume and highlight QB rushing ability. Even if it fails, Kyler Murray is still going to score a lot of fantasy points. Don’t worry that he’s a rookie and buy at his current ADP. Close your eyes. Erase everything you know about the Arizona Cardinals from 2018. Stare […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?Everyone loves a feel good story. Last season we watched Damien Williams, a career backup, burst onto the scene in the fantasy playoffs to average 24.76 PPR fantasy points per game in weeks 14-16. He continued the success in the real football playoffs with 4 touchdowns combined in the divisional round and conference championships. Williams parlayed all of this into a new two year contract.
The fantasy community took notice, and Williams is currently the 21st player off the board in drafts per Fantasy Football Calculator. This valuation is supported by the high octane nature of the Chiefs offense and Williams potential fit into the scheme. However, when other factors are brought in to project Williams 2019 season the picture isn’t so clear.
Please, blog, may I have some more? This final post in my recent series of taking a first look at each position will be a little shorter than the rest of my posts, just because I view this position pretty simply in 2019. If you aren’t attacking this position early with the likes of Travis Kelce, Zach Ertz and George Kittle, then […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?#SFB9 was trending on my twitter after divisions and draft positions were revealed last Wednesday. What spot are you drafting from and what division are you in? If you were fortunate enough to get a Scott Fish Bowl bid, make sure to do your part in actively connecting with others and most of all- donating […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? There are different trends all of the time in fantasy football depending on what websites or writers that you follow. Analytics dudes will tell you that zero RB is the way to go while a large population will tell you how important that it is to get one of the elite running backs in the […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The first NFL training camps are beginning in two and a half weeks and there are going to be a lot of position battles to watch. If you’re drafting at this point in the summer you can find value if you want to gamble a little bit. There will always be cases where running backs […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Razzballers and other people of the internet, it is time for us to get to know each other. I’m not talking a/s/l, hobbies, or dreams in life. We aren’t that close. I’m talking about draft strategy. It is important for you to have an overall background on how I approach drafts prior to reading player […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?As I said last week, the early rounds signal that many owners will prioritize the running back position this year in fantasy. Which means that I will be doing the opposite, and getting as many wide receivers as I can after getting my one stud RB in the first or second round. As you’ll see […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?B_Don and Donk Teeth are back talking football and sausage on the Ditka Pod this week. Digging in on the 2019 rookie wide receiver class, the sausage stuffers profile each of the wide outs taken in the first two rounds of this year’s NFL draft. It’s a deep class with lots of speed and deep threats.
